I have a customer no longer wanting to receive statements.  Is there a way to stop statements by customer?

We are currently in Apps 9 moving to Apps 10 in approximately 2 months.

If you also send reminders and other “true” finance documents, you ay not want to do that, and adding a condition to an event action may be better.

Hi,

How are you sending statements now?   However you send statements now, it should be possible to exclude a given customer.

If sending statements via email and IFS event you could remove the setup on that customer or add a condition to your event action such as email address not x at xyz.com.

I believe apps 9 included the concept of selection templates (it may have been added in apps 10), but in the selection template you could copy the existing template and exclude customer 12345 on the template copy.

It really depends on how you generate statements today.

Best regards,

Thomas

Agreed, a condition to the event would be best since we are using AR Customer Contract for other documents as well.

It would be nice if IFS could add a toggle to the customer record to suspend printing of statements
