Hi,

In the current lay-out of our advanced planning board, all shop orders are showing line by line, in a step wise matter. Isn’t it possible to see them all next to each other, on one line?

If i have many shop orders on different workcenters, i cannot see them all on 1 page.

Also, it is possible to change to workcenter of a shop order in the advanced planning board, or do I need to do this in the application itself and reload?

thanks!

Hi

  1. yes this is possible . Put on the resources to the Gantt area and the resource will show the operations that are scheduled on them. Then you can enable  extended information ( tool tip and plot settings) to identify the operations. This way you can scroll to the right and see the entire timeline. Scroll, zoom in out. date scroll - up down on sides and use to navigate across the Gantt.
  2. Yes this is also possible.
    1. Start APB
    2. Open the operation you want to change the work center
    3. unschedule it
    4. Remove the constraint ( operation > show assignment > remove constraint  - RMB )
    5. Then drag and drop the new work center ( constraint )
    6. Schedule and save back
    7. This will change the work center in operation and schedule on to it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and regards

Thanks! Is it also possible to have them on the operation instead of showing up when hovering? Like where the red crosses are?

No not really.

But this is the work around. Use your tooltips on resource to get more info. Then use expand/Collapse options to get operations visible when necessroy and then you will see more info ( extended settings).

This might work for you.

Other than that it is not possible to plot more info on resource line ( operations)

Thanks and regards

Hi,

thanks a lot for the above. Do you perhaps know if this principle remains the same in Aurena?

Hi,

In Aurena, APB client GUI has not changed.   Similar to IFS EE, the users will be able to open APB and use it . Therefore functionalities are not different within APB irrespective of the fact that it is open from IFS EE or Aurena.

Hope this helps
