Emails sent from Custom Events will be in the NOTIFICATIONS queue and would have following attributes:

 

However, these attributes are common for many other application message types that go through this queue, so it appears the only way to identify the ones that are triggered by Custom Events is by the “Sender” field. The sender would have the ID of the relevant Custom Event. 

It would also be worth noting that usually, old application messages are scheduled to be cleaned up via a scheduled database task. So if you need to review historical data related to these application messages, then you may have to archive these application messages via application message archive functionality.
