i have a requirement to upload arabic data into a custom table. i tried doing that using standard migration job but some special characters appeared.

Morning all, Within Page Designer we’re looking to add a custom field/custom fields to the ‘Time Registration’ page dialog box, allowing users to capture additional information when registering project time allocations. However within page designer, under Dialogs and the ‘Report Time Dialog’ this doesn’t seem like a possibility.This post discusses that custom field support isn’t possible in assistants, however is there another method of achieving this in Apps10 (Update 10 for us) such as a custom logical unit against the projection, creating a Group with these fields and adding that to the dialog? Cheers,Marcus

A user is getting this error when he click on his shortcuts for My Absence Calendar and Expense Sheet.The error is getting even when he try to use navigator.As this is mentioning missing dll, we checked with IFSAPP as well but the issue can not be recreated when logged in as IFSAPP.In the same way other users don’t have this issue.He is having all the required permissions as well.I really appreciate if someone can give any idea to fix this issue.we are in APP09.Thank you.  

Community,We have special request for delivery address one PO. We have lots of parts which needs to be processed by multiple suppliers. for example, part A, in order to receive a part A,i need to place the order to supplier C, part no is C, after C is completed, supplier C will not ship to us, it will be shipped to supplier B. Supplier C will ship to next supplier B, and in the system, we will have a new purchase part B, and order placed to supplier B. after supplier B completed, supplier B will not ship to us. Supplier B will ship to next supplier A, and in the system, we will have a new purchase part A, and order placed to supplier A. after supplier A completed, supplier A will ship the final products to us.we are in APP10 UPD9, in order to fulfill this, every time we need to change the delivery address per purchase order line, since supplier A, B, C, we might purchase other parts which will be ship to us directly, just certain parts. my question is, is there a solution in APP10 upd

Hi I Is there anyone that can explain the manage report structure view in IFS business reporter? How to move reports, i only manage to move reports from unconnected to the folders but not the other way around. What happen then is that the reports are not accessible from order report function inside IFS. What is this used for?   BR Andreas

Hi,When we do Engineering Revision Transfer the Product Structure Status is default “Tentative”. Is there a way to set the DEFAULT status for manufactured parts (Structure Type = Manufacturing) to Buildable? Can you Change Sales Part number to point to different Inventory Part? We want to keep the sales part number but it needs to point to a different Inventory part, is this possible or do we have to create a new sales part number? Transactions already exist. what are my options? Thank you,

We have an existing part where Inventory UoM is set to EA.  We would like to change it to Case.  Is there any way to do that with an existing part and maintain all of the history or do we have to create a new part?

Hi!Does anyone know if there is a limitation of using persistent custom fields in a replicated environment.Our field gets values in our offshore environment(Satellite) but the values are not replicated to our onshore environment(HUB).

When I have the Time Card of HCM open and I use English as the IFS language, still Dutch words pop up:So Maandag or woensdag (Monday or Wednesday) are shown where I expect English words.Is this because it checks OS settings? I'm using English Windows 10:Someone an idea where the Dutch words are pulled from?IEE shows what I expect: English: 

We are in Apps9 and have various of the Purchase Authorisation Notification event action emails set up - like this one.  We have ClickOnce activated but users report when they click the link the relevant screen opens in the IFS application but it is not populating with the Order/Requisition number referred to in the notification.  Can someone advise if it should be &MESSAGE_TEXT or &MY_QUERY that should be used in creating the custom URL?  Or are there any other “knowledge gains” to do with default browser, ClickOnce extension option, or anything else I’m missing/getting wrong?Thanks in advance.Linda  

We are currently in the process to enable SSO for our end users. We are using IFS10 UPD9.For support purpose, we know we can use the /admin account to login (as enduser) in non production environments for IEE.However, we also need to provide support and login as end user in non production environment for IFS Aurena.To my knowledge, there is no /admin login available for IFS Aurena.Can you advise how we can login with other accounts in non production environment in IFS aurena, while SSO is implemented?

I want to show the country where a task is performed on the task display in the web client schedule board, but when I select the option it doesn’t show me anything for any task. I’ve tried both the ‘PlaceCountry’ and ‘Place’ options in this list. I have given a country on the place that has a few tasks, but it is not showing on the schedule board.  Am I missing something? This is on FSM 6 Update 12
