Adding messages to payslips

Hi

We need to include some messages on the payslips for all employees and I’m looking to achieve this using standard functionality if possible.

From what I can see the standard UK payslip (PayslipUk2.rdl) includes 2 message fields, COMP_MESSAGE and  EMP_MESSAGE.


I believe EMP_MESSAGE is populated using the M001 parameter in Emp Data Const on the Payroll Information screen but I’m struggling to find out how the COMP_MESSAGE value is populated.

Does anybody use this functionality or happen to know how it works?

We managed to get to the bottom of this one in the end. If it’s of any use to anybody the message is populated using the Remark field on the Payroll List (Payroll > Payroll Calculation > Payroll).
