Hi, We have various shop orders with an outside operation for the same supplier. We let IFS generate the PR, and combine them manually into one PO. However, how we can quickly see the Operation Material Allocations (=components that also need to go the supplier) without looking at the Delivery note? We would like to add them to the PO if possible, or at least have an overview of every outside operation with its Operation Material Allocations. Thanks!

For the organisation structure below. Say we have 4 graphical positions as well.Level 1Level 2Level 3Level 4 all with position access generated. E.g. Level 1 has access to Lvl 2, 3 & 4Level 2 has access to Lvl 3 & 4Level 3 has access to Lvl 4  When we go to supervisor access, Employee A (Position - Level 1) -  (Org - CEO 1) cannot see FI01 or anyone below.Employee B (Position - Level 2)  - (Org - FI01) cannot see FI02 or anyone belowEmployee C (Position - Level 3) - (Org - FI02) cannot see FI03??? In Supervisor access setup we then turn on include subordinates. Employee B (Position - Level 2)  - (Org - FI01) can then see the employees in FI02 & FI03 but also see other staff that are Level 3 and 4 across the rest of the organisation in Ops and Sales etc.  Why does the organisation tree not just allow you to see staff below that part of the tree as long as there position allows access to it?  Yes you can individually go through and allow access to elements in the organisation

There is an IL defined by someone and when an end-user tries to add himself to that via ‘Users per Internal Ledger’, the window is empty even when he populates it. He can see the IL in ‘Define Internal Ledger’ screen and also can see the IL in Accounting Periods. Required permissions are available for this user, is available in users per company, users per user groups etc.However, when the user is added to ‘Users per Internal Ledger’ by app owner, he can view the list and do the required activities in that IL.Could someone explain if the core functionality is designed this way? I.e. only the end-user who creates the IL ID can add others who need to use the IL/view the IL details (initially) in to ‘Users per Internal Ledger’?

Import fixed asset is not working properly.  Below is the test plan:Create an FA object with valid from date 8/30/2016, assigned to an object group with SL BP for 7y0m. Import the object with acc. Depreciation value for year 2022, period 12. Post the import transactions. Create a new depreciation proposal for the object above for year 2023, period 1, review the proposal, you will notice the depreciation will fully depreciate the object with the remaining residual value.  That is incorrect.  The object should still have another 8 months to depreciate. If you would like to review our data, object id TEST2 is done via external template, object id TEST3 is created in the system, both with the same issue.  The testing data is on my UAT database (URL: IFS Cloud). We are currently on IFS Apps 8 but not using the fixed assets module.  

Hi,Can I freeze a purchase order after it’s in confirmed status?  I saw the option when it was in planned status, but after confirmation the “freeze” option isn’t visible. Thank you,Steve

Hi All, In order to upload an e-mail from outlook into IFS I have installed the IFS extension in my outlook aplication, set-up the correct URL and installed IFS Aurena agent. But am I correct that the IFS Aurena Agent only works as an extension on the Google Chrome Browser? (So your default browser must be set to Chrome). I’ve got it to work with chrome but when I set the default browser to Microsoft Edge it still gives me an error: Is there also a possibility to use Edge to do this or is chrome the only option here? Best RegardsRoel Timmermans

Hi,In our current version (14.5) when we open a new Service Order or Field Quote, if the user forgets to enter the Contract before saving, they get a pop up to ask for the contract ID (this is a setting in the Workflow).  But in V15.4 (SU2), even though we have the same setting turned on, the users do not get the pop up; it just saves and then have no contract at all set (we always want a contract or a TnM set).Is there another setting that affects this or is this a bug? ThanksChris

I am trying to use CTE’s in a quick report, but when I try to execute the query in IFS’ Query Tool it gives me the error “Input ‘my_query’ ” did not match regular expression. I tried with a basic CTE, that works in PL/SQL Developer: WITH my_cte AS(SELECT 3+4 as result FROM DUAL)SELECT result from my_cte I am not even trying to use a regular expression. Cloud 22.1.8In the navigator, the Inventory Part Availability Planning page is positioned under Supply Chain Planning > Part Planning.I find a part number in this page and select the MRP Part Information command button.This takes me to Supply Chain Planning > Part Planning > Inventory Part Availability Planning > MRP Part Information - Top Down. In this page, there is no Expand button in the record selector.When I navigate manually to MRP Part Information - Top Down, this follows the path Supply Chain Planning > Material Requirements Planning > MRP Part Information - Top Down > MRP Part Information - Top Down. In this page, there is an Expand button in the record selector. Why does the MRP Part Information command in the IPAP page not navigate to the MRP Part Information Page that allows use of the Expand button?

Hi, On the stop work step in mobileedge we have some data about the duration.Could you explain what is the MOE to hide these data ? We have non-inventory sales parts, and I am trying to find where on IFS I should go to see how that part is mapped to a certain account?The way I am used to parts is that they should be mapped to a certain cost account and revenue account, but I am new to IFS, so where is the place to go and see where the sales part is mapped? Also is that the same place to go to change how the item is mapped, can I edit that?Thanks

We disabled column chooser for a LTU and now the users do not have the ability to adjust the columns at all - is this all tied together?

I have end users that are creating CRM Cases and MRB Cases and the time stamp is way off.I cant find where to set the time zone for the specific users - you would think it would be going off our system time but doesnt seem to be doing so. In this screenshot the modified by time stamp indicates that it occurred today at 5:37am but really occurred during the 1pm hour. (8 hour difference) And on this one the create date indicates 4:19am today (10/27) but occurred at 10am. - only a 6 hour difference 

Hello, after UPD16 deployment, financial, projects and case attachments, are no longer in the “attachments” tab on their corresponding IFS objects. Is this a known problem and does anyone know what steps to take to remediate the issue?We also have problems with several projections which were updated. This can be solves by revoking and regranting the access to them. DOCMAN keeps the grants somewhere else, though. Can anyone help? Many thanks,paul.

I am trying to do a CSV integration export in which when opened in Notepad ++, it doesn’t have leading quotes (“). I am trying to send this file every week to a customer via EDI for billing and the testing keeps failing because of this.Attached is the integration I am testing and the file with the issue.

Hi Experts,I have a customer using PSO where they use a batch job(scheduled job once a day) to commit tasks.In PSO when they do fixed commitment to a resource (if the tasks was planned to start at 3 pm by doing the fixed commitment it is fixed to start at 8 am and make task committed for the resource)This fixed commitment is done nearly 2-3 mins prior to the scheduled batch job for commit tasks.And the broadcast has happened 30 mins before (broadcast happens every hour)Then after the scheduled job it can be seen that tasks are committed but tasks for the fixed resource are overlapped.  I would like to know any clue on what can happen in hereyour expert help on this is highly appreciated.Thank you.
