We are unable to use IFS Notify Me 9 and Incident Reporter 9 on newer Samsung (Android) devices since the last google play system update on the 1st April 23.

We offer up our own touch apps server, so existing users are unaffected but any new ones are not able to use the mobile apps.

Does anyone know what happened here? Is there play to backdate the support for these apps?

I read the master article, and it seems that there can be some lag in updates but I dont want to lose the functionality altogether.

We are aware of the issue and working to correct this if possible. Google have changed the rules as you reference and we are adapting to them.

In the mean time, if you need to install the apps on a new device then please contact support and we can supply you with the apk files to sideload.
