Hi,

What is the difference between “Initiated” and “State Date” fields of an application message. Can the values for these two fields be different by hours.

Any particular reason for this difference and what are the time zones applicable for these fields ? (Initiated time is behind 4 hours)

Best Regards

Please note that this is a known issue and R&D has taken the necessary actions to correct this. The change will be available in 24R1 EA. This is relate with the time zones of the DB and the middle-tier. Now time is taken only from the database.

Please refer the below explanation for this time difference.

The application message is created from PL/SQL side, thus this created time/state date /status date are set based on the DB time zone, while the initiated time is the time the application message is initialized to process, which is set by the application server (ifsapp-connect pod). Thus, that time is based on the middle-tier time zone.

The Cloud Services confirmed that the db and middle-tier are in two different time zones, That’s why there is a difference in created/state date/status date and initiated time.

Thank you & Best Regards,
