We are trying to determine if the "Astea BM Manager" service needs to be running on any of our servers. Could anyone provide information on what this service controls and when it need to be running?

Hi Katherine,
If you schedule any jobs from the modules such as PM Batch Scheduler, Resolve Queue, etc. a batch job is set up and the BM service manages the start of the job executions.
This is not to be confused with scheduling process flows which has its own execution management.
It is possible to have multiple BM services running across multiple servers to help distribute the load for the various jobs. A job will only run on one server’s BM service.
