We are trying to determine if the "Astea BM Manager" service needs to be running on any of our servers. Could anyone provide information on what this service controls and when it need to be running?

Hi Team,Is it any option available in IFS to restrict the user to do changes in the shop order lot size ? Other than custom event and screen properties. 

We don’t have Email configured in Customer Center but technician enter the  e-mail address manually while closing an activity. But email were not sent to customer.

Hello, Does anyone know if it is possible to get the default location for a Inventeory part when returning a material to inventory from a Work task? In this example part no 098050 has a default location (it works for register arrival on a purchase order) When I try to return it on a work task I must search for the location. Here, it should be pre filled the default location in my opinion. Thanks

We have one user that is experiencing this error when trying to access the Customer center module. It occurs on any machine we try to use her credentials on. It is not something we have ever encountered. Any suggestions before I issue a support ticket?  

Customer needs to have a permission set for each tools in the attachments toolbar :1 permission set for Approval Process1 permission set for Corrective and Preventive Actions1 permission set for Documents1 permission set for Non conformance Report1 permission set for MediaWith that structure of permission sets, they can manage the access to the attachments toolbar for each user and what tools they will have access to. But they are getting an error when we trying to build that structure. As an example the permission set for Approval Process :To use the approval process they have granted the permission for the below the activities. But when they open the approval process tool, they are getting the below security error and you can also see that they have access to the corrective and preventive actions tool.  They have granted permission for Managecapa, but still getting the same error.  

I have investigated how to automatically fill in my approvers once the posting proposal window is filled, but I can't find a way to do this in IFS cloud, and I cannot find the Routing Rule tab in my IFS Cloud either. IFS CloudIFS appRoutingPosting Proposal I would like to know what options I should enable to make this possible and what permissions I should have.

Hi All,I have installed IFS Cloud monitoring, and it ran successfully. After installation, I noticed that I'm getting a 404 error for Kibana and Grafana. Below are the IFS monitoring pods. 

We user Repair Centre in FSM U27 and I have had a look at the Repair Board screen to establish if it is of interest to us. At first glance, functionality looks quite basic so I just want to confirm I have not missed anything. My observations are that;Tasks are static on the Repair Board. They do not lengthen in time if a repair tech is delayed on a particular tasks. Nor do subsequent, yet to be started tasks move with the timeline if the current, in progress task is delayed. The Repair Board cannot handle tasks straddling two days. In our example we work a 09:00 to 17:00 shift only. If a two hour task starts at 16:00, the Repair Board will expect its completion at 18:00 when it should in fact be 10:00 the following day. Completed tasks disappear from the Repair Board meaning supervisors lose the visual display of all tasks completed during the shift. It is not possible to scroll to the previous days Repair Board date to drag and drop any yet to be started tasks to current day. The only

Hi all, this is on IFS EE Apps 10 Upd 20 for the Report in Work Order screen. I’m updating an existing Excel migration job to include the new fields Cust Warranty Claim, Output Type, (Note ID?), and Notes.. which has involved adding in 3 more views. WORK_ORDER_RETURNS_UIVWORK_ORDER_RETURNS_UIV_CFVJT_TASK_UIVDOCUMENT_TEXTI’m able to take the existing ‘Work Task’ lines and create the ‘Returns’ lines via the job and the Cust Warranty Claim field populates fine. However, the Document Text (Output Type and Notes) is not populating. When I remove the “On New Master” checkbox under Method List, I get an error that the NOTE_ID field is mandatory. However, I can’t figure out how to have this field autogenerate the value like it would in the GUI.. I’m at a loss and am hoping for some help for this rookie… I’ve included screenshots of everything I’ve got. Hello, I created organization structure and position structure.  Then I was setting up new employees.  I tried to assign the organization and position to the new employee, however, the field do not allow a search the newly created organization or position. Sometimes when things like this happen, you can just type in the value but that is not working in this case.  Below is the structure created.Just for a sanity check, I looked at the table that the find function queries.The values are obviously there.  Why is this not working? Thanks,

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. A quick question about absences. I've seen that there is a ‘Notes’ field on Absence Registration and Absence. But I can't enter any text in it, it's greyed out and nothing is indicated.Does anyone know what it's for and how to use it? I tried to find it through the process of declaring an absence but nothing worked...  

Hi all, We often get this message when printing invoices. Is there a way to increase the timeout before this message is displayed - thereby allowing more time to generate the pdf? TIA

I've set up the PSO Environment and integrated it with FSM. When I send the dataset, it goes to the PSO and shows up in the event logs and Scheduling Dataset. However, in the event logs, there are no errors. But when I check the resource and activity, it appears empty. I've checked the audit LOAD file, and in that file, the resources are shown.any idea why those resources are not appearing in the resource section?@tomgreenwood

We are using Apps10 UPD6.  We use ADFS to give our users SSO into IFS.  This means DB logins don’t work from the standard link. When we need to use the app owner ID, we go into the /admin page and use the “IFS Enterprise Explorer - Admin” link to use a DB login.     We are starting to work in Aurena.  It looks like I only have an “ADFS” door into Aurena.  Does anyone know how I can login to Aurena using my DB App Owner ID?

In previous versions (23r2) the LTU xml file for Mobile work order could be downloaded from the Product Release information pages in MyIFS.For 24r1, this no longer seems to be the case.Where do we get the LTU file from?

Hi All,I can not save an Expense Sheet due to below error. Can some one assist to resolve it? 

Gone to replace the ssl certificate on the middleware server and I beleive to do this I run the ifsinstaller again but with the new certificate in the config file. When I go to run the installer it tells me it can't run as my kuberteties have now been depriciated and I should update by following the instructions. I can't find the instructions and I am worried my bin files are out of sync from the installed version. I have had a look at the build place but it only tells me the current version 23R1 but my install is still on 22R2. I have a backup of all the bin files but I don't know which ones relate to which version. Is there a list of which bins relate to which version?Product Version: 22.2.4

I’ve just started using the Boomi IFS REST Partner Connector, and am having issues getting data from IFS.I’ve seen the list of resources here and have been working through the setup steps here: https://community.boomi.com/s/article/Getting-Started-with-the-IFS-Applications-10-REST-ConnectorI can create the Connection to our test env without any issues using OAuth 2.0 (i.e. I get a “Test connection successful” message), but whenever I try to set up an Operation to query a projection, I get a “Unable to browse connector: Projection not found, or not Included in Compatibility Application Type” error. I’ve tried with 5 or 6 different projections now, so suspect that maybe that’s not the issue.The IFSBOOMI service user has FND_CONNECT and IFSREADONLYSUPPORT permissions at present; does it need more? Or is it likely to be something else?
