Hi everyone,I’m trying to connect an on-prem Active Directory to IFS apps 10 (10.19) and I can’t get IFS to connect to the AD unless the credentials used are a domain admin. I read IFS documentation and it says that the user used to connect to the AD should have read-only permissions to the AD. However, it does not seem to be working.What could I be doing wrong?Thank you very much in advance!

Hi everyone,I'm currently setting up a supplier for testing purposes and have hit a snag. When I navigate to the "Purchase Address Info" tab and click on the 'Del Terms' box, the List of Values (LOV) is not selectable.I've double-checked my steps and can't figure out what I've missed. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any ideas on what might be causing this or what I might need to check?Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi All, What is the exact difference between Fault Type and Fault Class? The explanation on the help files does not seem to give much help.  Both talk about technical and financial analysis of costs. Both are related to WO reporting… Best RegardsRoel    

In PSO, when a user is given the default permissions, they can view all the details of a specific resource—such as the ID, mobile number, and location—within the RESOURCES section under SCHEDULING. I want to restrict what the user can see, so they can only view certain details that I choose, instead of everything. Is there a way to control or limit these viewing permissions for resources?

Hi, Can you explain why, when a custom field, float type, is sent to mobility, it appears rounded, and worth, sent back to back-office, the value is really rounded in database ? E.g : Alliance Web  vs mobility :  and then in DB the value is now wrong.Same issue if the value in set from mobility. typing in a rounded value then enter : value is rounded. Version is ALLIANCE V15.4 SU7How to resolve this ?Thank you

I have created an lobby who is counting the amount in a certain “Work Center No” but I want to have the number of an specifik “Operation Description” In this case only count TestingThis is the output.and this is the definition 

I am trying to use a workflow to call the cancel quotation line call to cancel the copied lines on the newly copied quotation to match the source quotation.  We are currently in 23r1.  On the Sales > Quotation > Sales Quotation screen we use the Copy Quotation button to create a new quotation.  For example, the source quotation has 3 quotation lines with the second line in the Cancelled status.  I am able to get the specific line to cancel but I am stuck on the call to actually cancel the line.  I am sure I am missing something simple. The projection call looks like: I build the variables as:aCancelReason : "NO STOCK""QUOTATION_NO=C9030200B;LINE_NO=2;REL_NO=1;LINE_ITEM_NO=-1" Any help is appreciated.

Hi all,Can you help me because i want to have the posting M189/M187 if i want to distribued the charges value in my purchase order (per amount for example) but i don’t know if it have a specific parameters to have the posting. When you look at the transaction history, you don’t have the posting M189 who, normaly impact the inventory value.thanks for your help.best regards

I am looking for an API query that retrieve if whether a person is “HR Application Manager” or not. I understand in EE, this info coming from package PERS_API & method IsManager. Or simply coming from table PERS.MANAGER where this equals “1”. Since API is using “Projection”, I am struggling to find this info. I think this is coming from “PersonHandling” projection but could not locate this info.

We are currently using Apps 10. With the upcoming retirement of a supervisor of Maintenance dept, a technician has been promoted to the supervisor position. Here are the steps we have taken in IFS:Created a new position, S-MAIN, since the previous position is no longer valid. The parent position is PRGM (Program Manager). We used RMB and Generate for this process. In the “Employee” Screen - Assignments tab, updated the position ID for the new supervisor to S-MAIN and set the Valid From date to 7/1/2024. In the Graphical Organization Structure’s maintenance department, added the new supervisor to the “Access” tab. As MT1 and MT2 positions should fall under S-MAIN, I moved these positions from their previous locations to under S-MAIN using drag-and-drop in the Graphical Position Structure. RMB > Generate After following these steps, The employees assigned to MT1 and MT2 positions are now updated with the new supervisor in the Employee screen. However, I am encountering the following

Issue in printing invoice - the template output is missing certain element title after upgrade to UPD19. See below Could anyone advise please? We did try a direct export from UPD13 server rdl file & reimport into UPD19 server, result still the same - defective template. Can anyone advise?

In the case of an expense, is it possible to see who can approve it for me and who can authorise it before it's done? 

We have an employee valid until 30/04/2024 in company A. We need to transfer his employment to company B though ‘New Employment’ wizard by selecting existing Person ID from 01/05/2024 onwards. We filled all the relevant data in all the steps. However, in the final step when click ‘Finish’ we get following error. There is no employees yet added to company B but still prompts an error. Any suggestions please?
