We have a problem.A customer paid  invoices in EUR , but the invoice had a different currency issued.  When the invoice was closed, the exchange rate difference was booked as a CUPOA. How do we close the CUPOA and book the amount as a gain / loss ?

Hello Everyone, seeking your thoughts in here.I am trying to deliver a Non inventory sales part using a customer order. I assumed if we release the order then I can directly deliver the parts as the part is non inventory. This works if the wanted delivery date is the current date.But If I create the customer order with the wanted delivery date as a future date. After releasing, I cannot perform the delivery until I perform the Reserve customer order even though its non inventory sales part. If not “Non inv Sales part Qty to deliver” field is not updated with the order line Qty.  If the Wanted delivery date is current date If wanted delivery date is future dateIn quick order flow handling shows the next step as reserve. If I perform the reservation generally. It updates the Non inv qty to deliver field and then I can deliver the order. Same behaviour can be seen in App10.Is there any explanation for this behaviour? Or am I missing any setting? Appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks,Ch

We have a situation where in both 22R1 and now 22R2, the reporting pods need to be restarted several times a month.  Has anyone else encountered this or know what may be the cause?When it occurs:We see that print jobs go into Waiting status inside IFS.  No errors are seen but depending on what/how they are printing, some users get a message that the print is taking time and will be completed as a background job.  Checking the status of the pods, no errors or bad status is shown.  Everything appears fine.Performing a stop and then a start on the ifsapp-reporting-<id> pod immediately starts processing the jobs again.The problem occurs mostly when we have heavier volumes (most of which are actually PDF) are being printed.Here is what we have tried so far to resolve, which doesn’t appear to have made any difference:Created a dedicated “In Sequence” report message queue and message queue (instead of “In Parallel” to try to avoid contention) for the jobs being sent to the NO_PRINTOUT p

 Hey all,Wanted to create a navigation link on the work details page for mobile MWO that lists all the request work tasks with the same request scope.I did the Navigation Link as you can see below, and it work correctly when I use it through IFS Cloud, but once I try it on mobile I get a blank page   Have tried both “Online Jt Task Lov List” and “Jt Task Lov List”On IFS Cloud I get:On Mobile I get: Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Hi all,We are implementing Aurena and doing some testing and I have a shop order where the start date and finish dates are the same. The routing is set up with no M/C run time and a Labour run time of 240 hours.The need date is 3 months in the future.Reardless of the direction of scheduling should the operation hours be reflected in the Start date and finsh date, i.e. 240 hours different. Thereofre with a need date of 21/10/24 and backward scheduling have a finish date of 18/10/24 and a Start date of 06/09/24 Thanks in advance

I use the work_time_calendar_api.get_work_days_between() function in several of my SQL scripts, and it works great. Is there a way, using the work time calendar, to calculate a date from a given date with a delta?For instance (pseudocode): get_work_days_between(calendar,‘2024-09-03’,’2024-09-05’) will return 2 in my environment.Is there a function that exists that will allow a date argument ‘2024-09-03’ and a variable argument of ‘2’ and return the value of ‘2024-09-05’?thanks!Eric

I'm trying do find a way of work for Partially delivered Shipment and print shipment delivery note For exampleOrder is 50 LinesShipment 50 LinesWe Partially pick 20 lines and the truck arrives and picks it up, print shipment delivery notefor those lines.We continue to pick the rest now we want to print new shipment delivery note for those 30lines  Now here is the wish list an easy way of work for this, and keeping the same Shipment ID We “know” how to split the shipment to 2 different but we think this is to cumbersome for you warehouse workers  we are currently on 22r2     

We created a Credit Invoice from a Customer Order Invoice.  It created in the Preliminary Status, but does not give us the option to Print.  Can anyone explain what is causing this? 

When looking for an inventory part through the mobile work order, I am getting the below message I used the find part option under the Material section under Work Details,  

We are using IFS cloud version 23R.1.8. Goal to solve: I want to set-up a storage at the production line with the most commonly used materials (eg. screws, bolts, washers). I will use real time consumption to decrease the stock-levels at the production storage. Once the level of material is below a certain point I want to automatically get more material from our main storage. Therefore I have set my eyes on using Kanban Circuits to solve this with signal type Automatic (Reorder Point).Problem:I have successfully created a Kanban Circuit in our test environment (which has production data), activated it and made a replenishment using “Kanban Reorder Point Request”. A Transport Task (TT) of the needed quantity is created automatically, so far so good.My problem is that the reserved articles are not placed on a new TT but on a closed TT from 2020. I have tried different locations and get the same issue, but it varies on which existing TT it places the material on. It never creates a new TT

I want to add custom actions to the command group of the custom page and I want to do it with “ExecuteAction” . So I need to add these custom actions to the projection of the custom page. But this custom page has a generated projection and I cannot edit this generated projection. I created a custom projection with the same entity and added our custom actions to this custom projection. But when I tried to add custom actions to the custom page, I could not access them because the projection of the custom page is different. I want to know how to access this custom projection from the custom page. I know that we can just create a workflow but I have error messages in my procedure and i want to show them to the user when needed but with workflow, it’s hard to do it. We are using IFS Apps 9. While investigating why we couldn't close certain projects, I discovered that some labor hours are listed as Committed hours in "Activities." Additionally, the associated project transactions are neither approved nor have cost accounting vouchers created, even though they have been invoiced. It appears that only a few of these transactions are non-invoiceable.Can someone clarify what is happening? The time card for the day seems accurate though. How can we avoid this in the future? 

We are using Azure SSO in our system, including Mobile but sometimes there is no internet access for engineers in some sites, so they have to leave and find a signal to be able to log in.Is it possible to remove SSO for Mobile only?If so, could that be set for just some mobile users or must be all?Could it be turned of just temporarily/quickly and then back on again?Thanks

I have received a new SSL certificate along with the Private Key but every time I try to upload the certificate it requests a password.  One wasn’t provided.  Is there a way to load the SSL certificate and private key into Certlm.msc without the password.  Just wondering if I can load the SSL certificate and private key whether I could then export the loaded certificate and create a password that could then be used in the IFS installer.cmd or F1mage.exe. Thanking you in advance for your advice.

Hello Team IFS,We are stuck on an issue that we don’t understand on IFS Cloud.As we generate a calendar with 5 working days and 2 Days Off. Everything seems to be good in the parameters but as we try to register time on an employee, all days are “Day Off”. We are trying to better understand when/how these three fields (currency, customer group, and primary price book) on a SITE come into play with pricing on orders.  We do not allow both customer/site records in our database so each customer center record is either a CUSTOMER or SITE. We strictly manage these three fields on CUSTOMERS, but have found that the data on SITES is not aligned/consistent.  We are tyring to determine which fields we should populate and clean up.

We're currently in the process of transitioning from APPS10 to IFS Cloud and are facing a significant challenge with migrating document attachments.In our APPS10 environment, we used a shared repository for storing documents. However, with the shift to IFS Cloud, we've encountered an issue as shared repositories are not supported in the cloud environment. While we have set up a database repository in IFS Cloud for new document attachments, which is working fine, we’re blocked when it comes to migrating the existing documents from APPS10.We need to ensure that all our existing document attachments in APPS10 can be brought over to IFS Cloud and remain accessible within the application.I would greatly appreciate any insights or best practices on how to migrate these documents from a shared repository in APPS10 to a database repository in IFS Cloud. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Issue Description: Shop Floor Workbench "Identify"Environment version: IFS Cloud 23R1Details:Test Plan>> Navigate to Shop Floor Workbench window>> Type in the number 1 into the Employee box in the Identification Popup>> We would like to get rid of the List of Values that come up as people type in their badge number into the Employee Field. Here as 1002 - ABCD, 1004 - PQRS Here, concern is that In the Shop Floor Workbench screen, when an employee goes to Identify, as they type in their badge number, a list of values populates with other employees that have the same beginning numbers. We want to eliminate that list of values completely.If anyone don't want any other employee numbers or names to come up as they type. Is this possible? Please see the attached screenshots for reference. They don't want employees to be able to log into the Shop Floor Workbench as other employees.

Hello,We are about to begin an upgrade project from IFS9 to IFS Cloud. Originally, the project was scheduled to start in January, but it was delayed due to planning on the customer's end. During January, we had already set the upgrade build home to version 23.2.5.With the release of 24R1, we are considering performing a release update on the lifecycle portal and recreating a new build home for the upgrade from IFS9. However, we are concerned about whether this update will impact the upgrade scripts that are currently set in the 23.2.5 build home.Has anyone encountered a similar situation, and could you provide advice on the best steps forward?Thank you,Hardik

Hi,Has anyone ever come across an issue with the Active Directory Integration where the sync process continuously errors with the below message:“ORA-20105: OracleAccount. REUSED_PASSWORD_ERR. The password can not be reused.”Each time the sync runs, it creates/sync just one account but does not grant the end-user role. Instead, the sync process just ends with the above error. If we run it again, it creates a different new account but with the same issue.We have the option ticked to set the password to be the same as the username. It is throwing the error, both when it tries to create a new account, as well as when it is trying to synchronise an existing account.
