The client would like the “Card No” to be longer than 10 characters. Is it possible to modify this?

Hi Oskari,
The “Card no” field has functionality linked to the cards which can be used to access Time Clock. In the setup for Time Clock you can choose which 10 digits on the card to use for verification. Thus, this is not an issue in the context on Time Clock.
If you intend to use the field for any other purpose than Time Clock, I would however advise creating a Property for these card. Then you can control the length of the field yourself.

Yes, Oskari, that should be the correct setting. If you enter the last 10 numbers in the Employee’s “Card No”, you can test this setting by seeing if Time Clock can identify the correct Employee by swiping the card at the terminal (or using a card reader in a test environment).
