The customer has installed the Aurena Agent successfully and it can be verified from user settings page. Also from the console tab in background page for chrome extension I can see the below line got message from agent: {"method":"Hello","value":"Hi!","status":"SUCCESS","version":"0.1","guid":"32b83171-5db9-4c85-aa37-851c4c9fa5fa"}but when I try to view a document nothing happens and not even an error is raised. The last call in the log is below got message from agent: {"method":"GetLocalProperty","value":null,"status":"SUCCESS","version":"0.1","guid":"32b83171-5db9-4c85-aa37-851c4c9fa5fa"} When I compared it with an internal environment, it is missing the DownloadAndOpen method call. What could be the reason here? I have attached the log file for further reference

IFS version: Cloud21, R1: There was an earlier topic about the need to configure the attachment pane, so users have the option to use a more space efficient table view. (Similar to in IEE) Hopefully, that is on the development horizon. In the meantime, the card view really needs to display the document class and description. This is essential. Otherwise, there is no way for sure what the doc actually is, except to guess based on the title. A spec, a SOW, a test procedure? As this is a primary key for the doc, it is a must. 

Hello, We currently are using document management and approvals of documents.  When we start approval process on the document the approvers in the list of approvers on the document receive an email telling them about a document requiring approval and the document is attached to the email for them to view. We’d like to utilize the IFS Notify Me application so someone who may not have direct access to IFS can receive the notification of the pending approval request and ideally be able to approve or reject the document from the IFS Notify Me application. Is this functionality available within IFS Application 10 Update 8 or above?Do we need to define a custom action to accomplish the functionality? Regards,William Klotz

When setting up Repositories to shared network locations, can multiple Document Classes be stored in the same path?Repositiory ID = CSCDocument Classes 1,2 & 3 all go to the same network folder path.

In Document Management => Create document, I get errors when a document has too long filename. It made several lines. I also do not get any notification that the filename is too long.See attached screenshot of what is happening. The document with the long filename generates many lines (many new documents)I do not find that this has been reported before and will be fixed.Do you know anything about this @Mathias Dahl ? Linda:-)

Hello,A customer of mine, is wanting to use object access as opposed to person groups for the project LU. I have set the object access level as View for Projects, Subprojects and Activity.I have been testing this access, and it seems that even though my user is not connected to the project and company- the user is still able to view the documents in the document revision screen.I would have assumed that if the user did not have access to the company, and project, that they would then not be able to view any of the documents associated to the project object LU. Do we have to use project access, with the object level access for this to work properly? Unsure as to whether the object level access is there purely to define the maximum level of access that can be granted, instead of actually controlling which users have access to the object defined. 

Hello,On IFS Cloud - We can retrieve documents stored on FTP path (Stored in pervious versions of IFS). But are not able to add any new document. there is no error while uploading. Hi All,It was found that the installed "IFSAurenaAgent.exe" in localappdata is an unsigned executable, and this was getting blocked by the customer's Security Restriction Policies (they do not allow unsigned applications to run in their system).Customer manually allowed the "IFSAurenaAgent.exe" in their security policy, and the Aurena Agent worked afterwards.Will need to know  whether this executable has been signed in future release, or if there is a different workaround to running this application in any environments with such security policies in place.  Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

Hi, There's a requirement from a customer to preview the  attached documents in a separate pane(like we can preview documents in file explorer).  Example: The customer wants to preview the attached documents in purchase order window, before sending them to the supplier. Have you come across such kind of requirement? I have got a user who is trying to open PDF-documents from IFS, but they always open with Notepad, and not the default program which is Adobe Reader. I have checked his computer and his default apps settings, everything seems to be right. But still, the PDF-docs gets opened with a Notepad, no matter from which module inside IFS. This is affecting only this user and only his PC. If he log in from another computer, then they get opened correctly  with Adobe Reader. Also: when he opens PDF-docs from other applications inside his PC (eg file browser), the docs gets opened correctly with Adobe Reader. So this is really confusing. Any help is highly appreciated. This is IFS8.

Hi,I’m trying to preview excel attachments in cloud 21R2 but could not see the preview icon on the attachment pane for excel attachments. for pdf’s it shows and i can preview. Aurena agent also installed but the issue remains the same.Can someone tell me how to enable it? Please see the screen shot below. HIghligted in yellow the preview icon for pdf’s. Is there a way to allow a user to enter a Document Number (or revision number) when they they are creating a new document in Apps 10 Aurena via the “Create New” button? On the “Document Default Values” screen, there is a setting called “ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM”. The help system states…This value determines the dialog that will be opened when the New button in the Documents Attachment panel is clicked. Possible values are Create Document Assistant, Create New Document and Create Documents.  We set this to “Create Document Assistant” and this had the expected effect in EE. When we click the “Create New” button in the attachments panel of EE, the “Create Document Assistant” opens and allows the user to specify full details for the document they are creating (e.g. Doc Class, Doc Number, Revision Number, Format, Title, etc.)However, this setting doesn't seem to have any effect in Aurena at all. Hello, we are moving to Aurena and are currently using Apps10, update 10 IEE.In the Relationship Management> My Call Center> New Case screen, it shows a document can be attached. It appears to upload correctly, but when the case is saved, an error pops up and reads: Going to the case details from here and adding the attachment works. This post was found for adding Object Connections in IEE and I can see where the projection matches an option: However, “MY” Case doesn’t exist in IEE. Therefore, can’t be added there. In Aurena, the New Case wizard doesn’t show a projection that I can add, nor does Aurena have an Object Connections screen.Does anyone know of a solution for adding these in Aurena?Thanks,Jeff Nattermnn

Has anyone seen this before?

How can we avoid creating a new Document Revision based on a previous Document Revision without a copy of the view copy. We only would like a copy of the original file and not the view copy file. Users forget to create a new view copy for the new document revision, and then we have a view copy which is a copy of the previous document revision and  not a copy of the new original file.

I need to have a functionality to create Reports in IFS, but in an editable form (for example, in a Word doc).Till the moment, we have created reports, based in Crystal, and necessarily are created in a .pdf form.Is it possible to get this reports in an editable format?
