Our Customer setup the Database as EDM-repository when they went live (Apps 10). Now, they need in addition some FTP Repositories for local storage acc. to local regulations.

The setup was done, but the files remain in the database.

Checking our “Help”, it is mentioned, that the file can only be stored in one repository!

Which setup to be done to fulfill their local requirements as well?

Thank you Wolfgang

Have you tried the “Change Document Repository” option ? where it is possible to move documents from different repository types.

yes, but I can only transfer, if the repository is in status “usable”; the default repository of the database is in “generating”.  On the other hand actual I can only transfer from FTP to Database Repositories and not in the other direction?

I can agree with your first point, not with the second one. Which application version are we referring here ?

There is no restriction as such in APP10. Database to FTP transfer should be possible. Given that, you could achieve this by adding a second DB repository during the transfer period.
