We have a customer who needs to review resource availability at different levels within the organization. The first level of output will provide the overall Availability/Occupancy Rate for the entire organization. The second level will drill down into the operational team level, breaking the data down by teams such as Functional, Technical, System Admin, etc. The third level will then break down the operational teams further into domain-specific categories, such as the relevant resource groups (e.g., combining DM leads into the DM team for clarity). The fourth level will further refine the data by breaking it down into roles such as lead and consultant levels within the relevant resource groups, for instance, showing Tech leads, DM leads, and Software Engineers in the technical team. Hi Community, Please kindly advise on how to resolve this error message on the screenshot below.

Issue: Default revenue activity in the sales contract is not recognized, when copying the sales contract. Must enter it manually. Environment: IFS cloud 23R2 Test steps Navigate to sales contracts window. Query for sales contract number CS0220259. And it will load relevant sales contracts under that. Select the second contract. Click on three dots and select “copy contract” Give contract division as 1 and enable new contract button and give planned start date. Then new sales contract will be created. (C100000066). Go to project sub tab and enter details. Give a project and revenue activity and save it. System will identify it as the default revenue activity. You can see default button is enabled. Click on “revision and items” tab on the header. Select on first line and click on the drop-down icon. Then try to edit the report code via the edit icon. You can see default project and revenue activity filed isn't updated within the line. If u try to save it system throws the following error

Is the setting of the Credit Approved toggle on Sales Contract based on any other setting? It is on the General Information tab with the Financial Settings grouping. It seems I can freely toggle this field even when the Customer’s credit is set to blocked. How/what/who is controlling this flag?

Hi, In my lobby I get an overview over all erroneous postings. Under “Project Transactions” I see there are some errors. By clicking on the number of erroneous postings, I end up in project posting analysis. Here I see that the hours I try to register on one project have the following error description: “CODE PART C is mandatory for account 4421”. On the same line, I see that the column “CostCenter” is blank (without any information). I want all the project hours to be allocated to specific costcenters, hence the account details is correct. However, I cannot seem to connect the registered hours to the various costcenters. Maybe this is not relevant, but when I go to “Employees” and find the relevant person, I see that she is registered with correct “Organization” and “Position”. The hours have also been confirmed in the time card. Further, the hours is correctly transferred to the correct project activity and is shown in the project monitoring view. Is it possible to copy multiple activities into another sub project in the same project or a different project? The option is available for single activity copy. We need to remove 10 activities from sub project 1 and copy it to sub project 2 under the same project. AS we have a lot it is time consuming to copy one by one.

Hi all, Can someone tell me what the ‘Remaining Planned Hours’ in Project Resource Planning is? My expectation is that the remaining planned hours = Planned Hours -/- Employee Allocated Hours. So far it looks like it is the same as Planned Hours. Thanks, Robert

Hi Experts, We have created monthly forecast and used EAC workbench to transfer budgeted cost from one WBS activity to another and used Increase Budget amount. successfully managed to update the status to EAC Transferred on the Monthly Forecast. The monthly forecast is then approved. Now if the monthly forecast becomes the basis for Budget update. We need to create a revised budget with reference to the Monthly forecast using copy from forecast option. The forecast assistant ends in error - Project Forecast cannot be set to Reviewed when EAC workbench is in Progress. Why is it taking the revised budget version to Reviewed? it should attempt to create it in Preliminary status and let the user update it. This is in IFS Cloud 24R2 Did anyone experienced this, and if yes, how are you updating the project budget? Manually?

I’ve got my Sales Contract (SC) revision set to Audit/Contract Change Order Required/Comment Required and it’s Frozen. When I complete a Contract Change Order (CCO) the system updates the SC but doesn’t create a new revision. It just updates the current revision. Am I missing something or is is designed to work that way? Thank you Patrick

Hello, I’m in the Sales Contract and have Audit Enabled with Change Comment Required. I have not problem creating a new revision but when I save after adding a new item the system barks at me with the message Change Comment is required since Audit Trail is enable with Change Comment Required. But the problem I have is that the field labelled Change Order Comment is disabled: I don’t see another field in which I could put a Change Comment.

Hi Community, In sales contract window, if the value of "Contract Change Order Change Capturing Level" is on “Contract Item”, then the field “Change order Comment” is disabled. If the value is “Cost or Revenue Element” then the field is enabled. Need to know the reason for this behavior.

We are using 24R1. There are MCPR transactions created in February 2025. However, Employee Invoicabilty has been turned to ‘Not Invoiceable’. When we go to employee company project transactions and tried to update the record to Invoiceable, it prompts an error as “It is not possible to modify the invoicability of multi-company project transactions”. However, Multi Company Revenue Method of that Project is set to ‘Project Invoice’. Any idea?

Hi Community, I have a few concerns regarding the functionality of Correction Transactions in 'Project Transactions' window. Let's say we create a correction transaction for an existing project transaction (Corrections > Create Correction Transactions). Two additional transaction lines will be created in the Project Transactions window as 'Recreated' & 'Correction'. According to the Product Documentation, The first of the two additional transaction lines is created for the reverse transaction, and it is set to Correction state. The second transaction line is a copy of the original transaction line. This transaction line will be set to Recreated state and you will be allowed to do the necessary changes on this recreated transaction. However, the users of the affected customer are mistakenly (used to) deleting the transactions lines in "Recreated" state and making changes to the lines in "Correction" state.
