Is it possible to copy multiple activities into another sub project in the same project or a different project? The option is available for single activity copy. We need to remove 10 activities from sub project 1 and copy it to sub project 2 under the same project. AS we have a lot it is time consuming to copy one by one.
Bulk Copy Activities to a new Sub Project

Hi
As far as I know, IFS is not designed to support shifting Object connections that brings in Cost and/or Revenue to a Project from a connected object using the “Copy Activity” functionality (In Scope and Schedules view).
It is not possible to transfer Cost and/or Revenue object connections (that brings in Planned Committed, Committed, Used and Actual Costs/Revenues) over to a new Activity due to two main reasons.
a) ‘Activity Sequence’(Unique Identifier of a Project Activity) is used to establish a connection between the activity and the object in question (in your case a ‘Shop Order”).
Hence, it must be noted that even though one can copy and carry over a copy of ‘Activities’ themselves (together with Estimated Costs, planned cost if the driver is former and some other details including activity classes, connected tasks, miscellaneous demands, planned resources, and valid report codes), the original object connection/s against the source Activity is locked in from the respective Object’ side (In your case the Shop Order/s would still holds the Activity Sequence/s from previous Activity and/or Activities).
Moreover, this Activity Sequence is used in the voucher level when costs are posted from the external object, ensuring that these costs are posted in GL against the Project Code Part and under the correct project, sub project and respective activity.
b) Moreover, if a user wants to manually change the ‘Activity Sequence’ from the external object end, it becomes problematic after the status of the said object/s gets promoted over a certain point. Where manually editing the ‘Activity Sequence’ (thereby attempting to change the Project connection that injects the cost and or revenue to project) on that Object is prevented by the system.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
