PNG is mandatory for MTR from Standard Inventory to Project Inventory?

Wondering whether it is mandatory to create PNG for each project? Does PNG has connection with MTR?

We never use PNG. but we are thinking of using MTR to transfer standard inventory to project inventory.

    we are also investgating to use MTR to transfer inventory to PPSA.

    Have you started the usage,  what are your outcomes?

    Do you have some recommendation ?
