Requirement/scenario: To make sure we have enough material (Components) to produce a finish product, and the material isn’t sold or used on another Shop Order, we need to be able to reserve some planned scrap. But, when we produce the product, we need the ability to report actual scrap and issue Material (Components) only for real/actual scrap. We can’t have the planned scrap automatically issued.Currently in IFS: When selecting the Reserve/Issue Planned Scrap checkbox, IFS will reserve the planned scrap but will also issue it regardless of if you have actual scraps or not.Question: Wondering if anyone else in the community has a similar requirement and how do you handle it?We’re currently having to perform manual reservations for each such components.Thank you in advance!Maximilien

Hi All,One of our customer needs to setup Zebra printer to print labels.Customer use ifs application 10 update 14 version. Before setup physical printer, we installed clawPDF(Open Source virtual PDF printer for Windows) and tried . Hopefully a quick one. I’m just stumped.I have a custom event that I want to trigger an email when a shop order is set to “Completely Reserved”. Seems simple enough. I have this event with the following called out as well as a custom attribute called “SHOP_STATUS” = SHOP_ORD_API.Get_Mtrl_State(&NEW:ORDER_NO,&NEW:RELEASE_NO,&NEW:SEQUENCE_NO) The problem I’m getting is that the custom attribute for Shop Status is the OLD status before the event occurs. I would think if I had Fire After selected the object is changed that I would get the NEW status. Any words of advice?If I could find the material state as an actual standard attribute in a tab, obviously that would be best, but I cannot find it anywhere in any standard LU.IFSAPP9 by the way.
I created some custom item forms in v11.4.3, applied the necessary visibility requirements, and associated the form with the required Product Class value. However, since I upgraded our test environment to v11.5.1 the majority of the fields in the custom forms don’t show, even though they are not hidden or discontinued. If I remove the custom form association then the default Item form details are all shown. I also tried creating a new custom form (from the default) and, without making any changes for visibility etc, all fields are still not shown.Is there anything I need to change/reset/correct for custom forms at v11.5?

We have started to use the QR Code invoice for Switzerland. (IFS APPS 10 Upd 11)We have invoices with installment plans in use, does this mean, we would need several QR Codes ?In my opinion yes, but we got only one printout with the full amount, not considering the installments.Does anyone face the same issue?Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina
How do I control the PSO status of an Activity that is pending Appointment Booking from FSM? I get different results between Allocated and Do Not Schedule. I have seen somewhere where I can dictate the numeric value of the desired status, but can’t find it again.
Hi I would like to know if it’s possible to enable access to employees in the Preliminary status through supervisor access or in any other way?I am aware that access can be granted via the ‘HR Application Manager’ checkbox but I would prefer not to use this if possible. Thanks

Am hoping someone can give me some guidance on how they manage price lists that are no longer valid. We operate on a system where haulage is included as part of the price per part. Which means that each price list has to factor the distance from the source to delivery point. As a result, we have a price list per delivery post code, per pricing level for all of our customers. Currently 22k price lists. We revise our prices approx twice per year, so the number of lists are growing. The update procedure we use (Migration scripts from CSV) takes a long time to run as it performs checks on previous lists. I would like to remove the price lists that are no longer valid to speed this process up. Is there anything anyone can suggest to remove those price lists or archive them perhaps?
Are there any instruction documents released by IFS for FSM app environment cloning? That includes best practices, steps, tips if DB is larger etc. And Is there possibility to only copy all configurations and anonymize sensitive data (i.e to be in compliant with GDPR act).

Hi!This is related to Data Synchornization in IFS.Let say that we have an application configuration package (ACP) we have imported to Onshore and sent it to offshore. Now we make a change in one of the custom field or add one more configuration to our ACP.Now we need to send this ACP to Offshore.Then the schedule job for importing this changes is runned offshore.But it will only importing the ACP not publish it. this seems wrong, since of course i want the ACP to be published when the import job is runned. Note that the ACP i published in Onshore when it is sent to offshore.I have report this to IFS and it is in their queue. Does anyone know if this is a known bug or if there is any parameter we need to set anywere in the application?
We are looking for ways to plan and control the production of high volume parts somewhere in the middle of a more complicated product. One way would be to use Production Line Management. But since the parts are serial tracked and we need as built structures, we cannot use production schedules. So generating shop order requisitions from the proposed schedule would be an option. However, MRP does not seem to see these as supply for its demand. I get a shop order requisition from MRP too. That does not happen with a production schedule. This seems inconsistent to me. What’s the idea?

Hello,When trying to upload a document in IFS cloud, im receiving below error.Something went wrong when uploading the file using the Aurena Agent. Error message: Missing or empty mandatory parameter: odata i did a bit of an investigation and the error comes from command CreateAndConnectDoc in the DocReferenceObjectAttachment.client file. When trying to execute the agentcall Upload this is getting failed. It looks like we cannot access aurena agent code. Can someone explain me why this error is raised. I suspect the file part could be a reason. File is located in a folder structure like below.C;\Users\t.user\New Folder\Test.pdf any help is highly appriciated.. ThanksRoshanga
