Hello Expert I need your advice on the following scenario: Scenario:We have an integration between SAP C4C and IFS Cloud(24R2). Currently, when a request is created in SAP C4C and transferred to IFS Cloud, the system automatically generates a new location with a Location ID and associates it with the customer in IFS Cloud. We are trying to prevent the automatic creation of this location in IFS cloud during Request creation. Could you please provide guidance on how to prevent the automatic creation of locations in IFS Cloud during this process? Do you see any impact in preventing the creation of location in IFS Cloud. I tried to automate some of the MWM Mobile Desktop application using a Tool called “ Katalon Studio”. But I encountered an issue , while trying to automate Desktop application of IFS MWM Mobile, When trying to launch the desktop application of IFS MWM Mobile .exe file in the Katalon studio, it was throwing an error as below highlighted. Hi everyone, I’m currently logged in as an HR user in IFS Cloud and have noticed that I can view the documents of my manager(supervisor), who is also part of the HR department. This raises a concern, as these documents may be confidential and should ideally not be accessible to peers or subordinates within the same department. Is there a way to configure access controls so that HR users can only view Their own documents Documents of employees who report to them but not those of employees at the same level or above in the organizational hierarchy (especially within HR)? I would appreciate any guidance on how to set up this kind of access restriction, whether through permission sets, document access roles, or any other recommended configuration in IFS Cloud. We’re implementing 24R2 and (for what we have installed) there are 76 new projections. Some of them are named so it’s obvious which permission sets they’ll need to go into (for instance, there are several that begin “BusinessOpportunity” or contain the word “Widget”). Others, not so much. Is there a list of some kind of new projections and what they represent so we can figure this out? Thanks!

Hi, We are getting following error for crystal quick reports for IFS Cloud 23R1 ( For all installations - PROD, TEST, etc).Error 500: java.lang.NullPointerException This systems was running without any issues. But suuddenly we are getting above error. There are no errors logged in,- Crystal log files,- Oracle DB alert logs,- Windows event viewer entries- Logs for reporting pods, odata etc... So we did following,1. Reset IIS2. Recreate pods3. VMs restarted4. Reinstall CWS in same server5. Create new VM and install CWS6. Addedd parameters ifsappreportingcr: minMemory: 28007. Set minMemory as 5000 for both ifsappreportingcr and ifsappreporting pods Still we are getting same error.Please suggest a fix to overcome above error. Thanks,Mayura

After restore a dump of the DB in our DEV enviroment, we got the following Error Message “The view for this page and logical unit do not match. It is not possible to add a Custom Field to this page” This happens an different page, when we click the RMB - Custom Objects - Fields - Overview. We have this only on the DEV and not on the TST enviroment. IFS APP 10, Update 10

I have created a Scheduled Report from a Quick Report and set it to email myself however it will not execute. It hasn’t automatically created a background job for it either. Am I missing something?

Hello, I am attempting to create a SSRS report that will query attachments (document revisions) connected to a Lot/Batch, and then add those attachments to the report. For example, search for a specific Lot/Batch number, find the attachment connected to it, and then attach that PDF to the results of the report. Is there an existing API that would support this process?

We are mapping PDF orders and passing them through ICO, to follow the same path as our EDI orders. Our PDF orders are being created as Single Occurrence Addresses though. In ICO, we are providing the EAN Address Location - Delivery which matches the Customer Address - “Customer’s Own Address Id”, which is how we connect the EDI orders to IFS customer addresses. What am I missing? Are there additional fields required that we are not mapping in ICO to load the Customer stored addresses instead of the the CO creating a Single Occurrence address?

Dear all, i’m facing a customer need on which i can’t find any solution 😶 The need is the following: the inventory parts UoM is Tons, but the UoM to use to declare shop order part issues and part receipt is m3. The immediate solution would be to use input UoM group to make the conversion, but i coundn’t find any possibility to use the density of the issued or received parts. Does anybody know how to use the part density in an input UoM group or have any alternative solution for this need? Thanks a lot for your help 😀

Hi, our customer (15/4 SU3) uses the Parner Portal for Customer Support creation. Sometimes his customer get an error message when he creates a ticket But after this message, the CS is well created. Do you know why this message is sent ? Thanks by advance

Hi, We have created a workflow to update few fields in the Document Revision window, and it is triggered via a command. When a user accesses the application through Active Directory, the workflow command available in the window returns the following error. However, if a user accesses the application without using Active Directory, the workflow functions as expected. The necessary permissions have already been granted to the workflow, and no workflow observation record is created in the scenarios where the error occurs. Could this issue be related to missing permissions specific to users logging in via Active Directory? Are there additional permissions required for such users? This error message has HTTP 500 ( Internal Server Error), but "OK" is associated with status 200. Many thanks for your inputs on this issue.Best regards,Uvini

In IFS 9, we were able to run the demand plan server steps more than once per month. In IFS 10, we are getting a message that it is not allowed. Our steps require us to do this but we keep getting the message “The period has already been aggregated. Create forecast can only be ran once per period”. How do we get around this? We’ve been told to just “ignore the error” but that does not work.

We are implementing Boomi as integration software with IFS. This is for IFS App 10 Update 27 We are trying to Move Inventory Part with the integration, but are stuck in how to proceed. The integration can successfully run with Action InventoryPartInStockSet->NewPartLocArray for parts that arrive in a location the first time. Hi! Is there anybody can help me? I use IFS8. We need input production surface arer information to Inventory Part. So I create a custom field under LU InventoryPart. Field Type is persistent. Name is “SURFACE_AREA”. It generates the method 'Inventory_Part_cfp.Get_cf$_Surface_rea’. It works right, user can keyin number into this field. I need create quick report with this field so that users can see this number. Followed SQL Statement works right. select a.part_no, a.contract, b.cf$_surface_area area, from inventory_part_tab a left join inventory_part_cft b on a.rowkey=b.rowkey I want use SQL Statment with method Inventory_Part_cfp.Get_cf$_Surface_rea. It should be like select a.part_no, a.contract, inventory_part_cfp.Get_Cf$_Surface_Area(a.part_no, a.contract)from inventory_part_tab a But it doesn’t work. There is no argument for this method. How can I set part_no and contract as arguments for this method?

When you create Credit Invoice Lines from a Work Order Invoice Preview (Previously you need to have created an Invoice Preview, then a Customer Order and finally an Invoice), you need to approve the new Invoice Preview and a Customer Order is created. In the moment we invoice this created Customer Order, the Invoice Type is CUSTORDEB instead of CURTORDCRE ¿Is this a bug in the system? ¿Where can we configure this Invoice Type to be CUSTORDCRE?
