Hello,In IFS Cloud 24R1 ‘Request Work Task’ screen, when a technician enters the expenses or updates the status (i.e., Travel, Arrived, Start Work, Completed) from mobile, it gets reflected in Cloud under the Costs tab.Expense line can be identified by the type ‘Expenses’ but for the Travel and Labor time, it is linked to a single cost type as ‘Personnel’. Is there a way or screen in Cloud to differentiate between travel and labor time separately as we have in IFS FSM? Please let me know.Kind RegardsPriyanka Cecilia
Hello All,I am modifying quick reports trying to get the enumeration/reference lists to appear in the parameter list. I have gotten the list to appear, but I have one custom field that doesn’t show the prompt. It has a prompt in the custom enumeration and on the custom field, so it isn’t simply missing. All I get is the semi-colon “ : ”. See below:Either overriding it or getting the correct prompt to show up would fix this problem.I have another report where the entry parameters are to be excluded from the report, so the normal prompt will not work. In this case I would like to override the normal prompt for only that report. So it would be something “Exclude These Group ID’s” where the normal prompt is “Group ID”. Thanks,RonV
Hi,I’m using Assyst 11.3.7 and I am looking for some definitive info on how the response to an incident is measured. I have seen cases where the response time is time stamped at the marking of Resolved when lots of activities took place before that. I have searched he help but can’t find anything that defines this Is there are particular action the user should take to ensure that Response has been timestamped correctly?Thanks

I am working in the Apps 10 UPD 23 GCS IEE environment and I am trying to manage a Shop Order Multi-Level Repair Structure. I can get the structure to appear but when I RMB on any of the components in the tree, the component replacement selection is grayed out.Is this due to a permissions issue? We need to be able to filter rows in lists via the page designer in the way that you can control visibility/editability for page controls, i.e. hide them if a field is below a certain value or not in a set of values. Filters seem to exist for certain other kinds of controls, but don’t appear available for lists. IFS Cloud platform has been successfully installed on Azure virtual machine ( following this documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/020_installation/010_installing_fresh_system/030_preparing_server/50_windows_managementserver/) the architecture of this infra includes :Oracle Database installed On Redhat 9 microK8s virtual machine installed on Ubuntu 20_04 Windows Management Server installed on windows 2022These IFS Wokrload were successfully installed on dev envrionnement We plan to deploy staging envrionnement and we want to use the same dev database so that we have the 2 similar envrionnementWe import the backup of the dev env in the staging oracle database and restart the microk8s virtual machine Results : The most of IFS pods are in an error state and crashloopBackOff like : ifs-db-init ifsapp-odata ifsapp-iam Questions: How can we fix it ? is there any other procedure/configuration to retrieve dev env and deploy it on staging ? Hi Everyone, IFS Cloud 23R2We are working towards getting load balancing between 3 middletier servers working for our IFS cloud installation. This works ok for the most part, however we are noticing that timeouts are occurring right around one minute. In the application when this occurs there is no error message; whatever you were doing just stops so it is unclear sometimes that any timeout occurred. Examples:Do a search on a screen that takes longer than a minute to return: Just see “No Results” even though results should have been returned Order a report that takes longer than a minute. After clicking finish to order the report, the loading icon spins for one minute, and then the buttons became available again as if nothing was pressed and nothing happened. We are working on a process where ALL billing is done from the project. The process involves creating a Custom Order (CO) from the Business Opportunity (Bus Opp) and then setting those lines to Not Invoiceable. On the projects side, an invoice plan would be made for an amount that includes the CO Line. In order that an invoice is not created from the CO, the CO line(s) is set to Not Invoiceable.On the project, the Planned Revenue for these order lines is being included. It is my thought that if the line is Not Invoiceable that the amount on this line should not be included as a planned revenue.Does anyone have any thoughts on this?Patrick
Hi, We have requirement to create Work Order and Work Task using Create Table from flat file and then MIGRATE Source Data.We are able to create the Work Order but unable to get the WO_NO (system generated) in order to create the Work Task. In a Project Invoice we have the lines tab and that tab has the ability to add a new line. When we do add a new line, the only thing we can add is an item no and description. What is the purpose of this ability? Thank youPatrick

Hello, When working with BPA Worfklows, User Interaction Type, there is a way to hide the cancel button: The result is as follows: You can see that while the Cancel button is hidden, the Exit Cross at the top left is not. I’m getting some weird behavior where, if you do NOT hide the Cancel button, then clicking the Cross effectively acts as a cancellation button, and cancels the workflow execution If you DO hide the button however, clicking the exit cross causes the following error: Is there a way to either hide the cross entirely, or make the cross behave in a fashion that does not result in an error? (For example, calling a separate task or api etc if the user hits the cross). Basically, is there a way to control for the user hitting the cross in any way if you’ve hidden the Cancel button from the form ?
Hi,We are using IFSAPP 10 UPD 20 and I have a question on PM grouping in relation to attachments.Can IFS display documents attached to a PM Group(LU: PmRoundDefinition) on a generated Grouped WO ? Object connection transformation for example? My scenario is I have two(or more) PMs with the same PM Group ID XXX. Then I generate work order for these PMs, and I get a WO with two(Or more) tasks. I want to display common documents on the WO header as attachments. How can this be achieved?Best Regards,Thilanka
Hi, I have created a customer order from a work order via the customer order handling option in the menu option. This then creates my connection between WO and CO in which I can get to the CO. However when on the CO I am unable to find my connection to the work order in the related pages. I have seen this working in another environment. What am I missing?
