Hi! We user IFS8. Is it possible to forbidden creating purchase order with a certain supplier? We have terminated our cooperation with a certain supplier. But buyer can create PO with this supplier still. Then made some error order. We want to avoid it happen again.

We implemented a modification where triggering an action creates a background job executed by the IFSAPP user to update certain data.We also have an event configured to prevent modifications to this data when the user is IFSAPP. How can we adjust this event so that it is not triggered when the user is IFSAPP and the action is executed through a background job? is it possible? Thank you in advance DECLAREcf$_userid VARCHAR2(100);BEGIN -- Récupérer l'utilisateur IFS cf$_userid := ifsapp.fnd_session_api.get_fnd_user(); -- Interdire l'utilisateur IFSAPP IF cf$_userid = 'IFSAPP' THEN Error_sys.Appl_General( 'SepaPaymentAddress', 'IFSAPPMODIFYRIB: IFSAPP n''est pas autorisé à modifier les RIBs' ); END IF;END;

Hi All, I am generating Wo’s from my Service Contract through PM actions. But I noticed that trhe field ‘Contract Id’, ‘Line No’ and ‘Customer No’ are not defined when creating the WO from that Service Contract. That strikes me as odd since that info is easily obtained. Adding the info after creatin is also not possible - IFS will give an error that the Contract ID cannot be edited for WO generated from PM actions. So somewhere in the background, IFS knows the WO was generated from a PM Action/Service Contract ID - but it does not provide the info. Is this a bug of an inconsistency from the application? It seems very strange and I can’t think of any good reason why this info should be missing. Best RegardsRoel  Background info:Create Contract ID ‘3’Create PM plan for preventive maintenance for contract ID and generate WO ‘12’ from PM plan Check WO 12 - notice that Customer No, Contract ID and Line No are empty

I have an alternate component set up and the product structure has the Alternate Exist checkbox checked on the component line.  There is no inventory of the original part and there is inventory of the alternate component part.  But when I try to process a shop order the Alternate Exist checkbox is not checked on the shop order and when I right mouse on the line and choose Alternate component/replace, I get an error that No alternate component is defined or component qty required is zero, but that is not true, what am I missing?

Hi,  Unlike PM Actions in FSM when a Request is generated from an Recurring Service Program it is created into Status Released automatically.Below I’ve created 4 scopes from an Recurring Service Program (Object Based). As you can see these Requests and Scopes have automatically been Released. I do not want this to be the case I’d like to keep them in “New” status for them to be reviewed by a Scheduler (just like PM Actions). Is it possible to configure this behaviour (within the application) without a customisation?

Hi,I'm working on 23.2.19 ifs cloud environment.  I need to create a distribution order from purchase requisition. Is there standard process to automatically create Dustribution Order from purchase requisition. Please let me know the steps to follow. Best Regards,Hasini

Hello, is there a way to store dimensions of a part in IFS i.e the length and width of a part?

Dear all,What shall I do do get the resource names from IFS-Cloud visible in PSO? In some cases, the names appear, in other cases not. Which configuration is necessary in IFS? What do I have to configure?

Hello,I am setting up a workflow process in which I am sending authorization and decision tasks for end users on the assyst NET side. End users can create a request and if this request requires authorization/decision it is automatically generate and send to them. Authorization is usually done by a different person then the original end user requestor. Question: Can original end user requestor see/view who is the authorizer/decision maker? How to populate this information to the request?

Hi Everyone, I have an issue: I have an active rental in progress. I wanted to create a replacement order, so I right-clicked on my line and selected “Create replacement order”.I released it, reserved it, delivered it, etc.I then went back to my rental follow-up, stopped the rental, and processed an equipment return on the original order. Up to that point, everything was fine. However, when I look at both orders: the original order is still in “Delivered” (the status did not change), and the replacement order was automatically invoiced/closed (I can’t view the invoice details). Should I understand that, logically, even if I processed a material return on the original order and ended the rental earlier than planned, I still need to invoice the original order? (it doesn’t seems logic)The replacement order does have an end date further in the future, and yet it was invoiced and closed automatically — I don’t understand why. What is the process for invoicing when a replacement order is cre

I am a beginner with PSO.I would like to implement data integration from FSM to PSO.Currently, we are able to generate requests from FSM and dispatch technicians (FSM resources) in PSO (the status becomes “Assigned”). However, resource information and various master data have not been integrated into PSO, which is causing issues.I assume that unless data integration from FSM to PSO is properly configured, master data will not be synchronized.I would like to ask for your advice on the following two points: If there are any concrete procedures or operation manuals on how to integrate the master data registered in FSM (such as resources, skills, SLA, etc.) into PSO, could you please share them? I would also appreciate it if you could explain how to transfer data from PSO to MWO. We are able to transfer data from FSM to Mobile, but we do not know how to transfer data from PSO to Mobile.Thank you very much for your support.

Our salespersons creates Prospects, but when working in different countries with different geographical limitations on how to create sales regions, we would need to update the Sales Address Information (Customer view; Address) behind the Prospect.  Customer > Address This is by default only permitted to do for Customer. Is there a work-around for this without changing customer category? Use Case: Sending marketing newsletter to Main Representatives Customers/Prospects. Main Rep can be responsible for a wide sales area, with big differences in weather, culture etc. We would need to pinpoint certain parts of the sales area for different newsletter content.Without the Region field in use under Prospect, we cannot pinpoint Prospects in for example northern Sweden if the same Main Representative works also in southern Sweden and can’t personalize the newsletter in regards to region.

I would like for include a commas on these values, but see no ‘format’ feature in page designer. Is there a way to do this?

Can we create an excel output from Order report? If yes, how is this achieved.

Hi Experts, I would appreciate if you can help me to understand the functionality of ‘Create WIP Accounting’ in Project Management Module.Thank you.

I did it once a while ago but forgot how to do it again. I am looking to extract the navigator items to excel in a format as such: >Scheduled Tasks Conversion 1 MENU >My Administration 1 MENU >My Administration>Basic Data Translation 2 PAGE >My Administration>Notifications 2 PAGE >My Administration>My Tasks 2 PAGE >My Administration>My Lobbies 2 INTERNAL >My Administration>My Industry Lobby Results 2 PAGE >My Administration>Subscription 2 PAGE >My Administration>Subscriptions 2 PAGE >My Administration>Scheduled Tasks 2 MENU >My Administration>Scheduled Tasks>New Database Task Schedule 3 ASSISTANT >My Administration>Scheduled Tasks>Database Task Schedule 3 PAGE >My Administration>Scheduled Tasks>Database Task Schedules 3 PAGE >My Administration>Scheduled Tasks>New Database Task Chain Schedule 3 ASSISTANT >My Administration>

This is in IFS apps 10 upd 25, local installation. We have 2 users with the same permissions, same company and site access, same business roles, etc. One has the access in the INVENTORY PART IN STOCK RESERVATIONS to the Move with Transport Task rmb option, and the other doesn’t. Where is the access for these rmb options on that screen set please? The permission sets granted to both users should grant this access already, so why does one user have it and the other not? Is there another setting somewhere within the Procurement part of the system to enable this? Thanks

It is not possible to edit the ‘Advance Invoice’ toggle switch in the External Supplier invoice once the invoice has been loaded. This impacts Peppol based e-invoicing integrations with service providers in multiple countries such as Singapore, Norway etc.I understand that, to mark the invoice as an ‘Advance Invoice’, <SellerAccountText> tag must be populated with ‘Advance’ in the source XML file. However, when invoices are routed via Peppol, there is no predefined scenario that aligns with IFS’s typical advance invoice flow.As a result, users have no way to correct or adjust this setting after the invoice is received. It would be highly beneficial if users were allowed to change this setting in External Supplier Invoice window after verifying the invoice attachment.Has anyone else experienced this issue, or found a workable approach to handle advance invoices via Peppol?Thank you.

In previous IFS versions we were able to see the value of Closed (status) Lost (state) sales quotations in the Sales Quotations view.  In current version 25R1 the total net prices for lost quotations is 0.00 even if there are product lines with values in the lost quotation. Current versions still show values for Closed and Won quotations. Is this is a bug or a change that have been requested? This affect negatively the possibility to deep dive into analyzing sales quotations and specially the lost ones. We have thousands of annual quotations to analyze, and it is not practical to open each quotation separately and combining the quotation value in excels...

Kit Article (25R2):i got a question regarding KIT articles:It doesnt matter which part type the kit article is right? Can be either manufactured or purchased → it will not create any shop order proposals or Purchase Requisition.there are just mrp action proposals which will indicate that there is not enough on stock for exampleKind regards

Hello All,I’m looking for a way to merge two cells into one. Is this possible? The reason I’m asking is that when the part description is too long, the text wraps onto another line, which shifts the Part No. down by one line. I need to find a way to prevent this from happening. You can see in the screenshot below that the Part Description is too long, causing it to wrap onto another line, which shifts the Part No. down by one line. Thanks
