IFS Cloud record windows have an Attachment section which offers generic services defined in Object Connections.Is there any documentation on these functionalities?Is there any Academy courses on Attachments section?Of course I can look for Help on each of the topics, but was just curious of there is some kind of comprehensive overview 

Hi Community,  I am currently working on an IFS Cloud Installation and would like to customize the default IFSAPP username during the setup process. We have a scenario where a business has expired stock and they wish to perform an Inventory Control Plan to re-test this stock, prior to potentially updating the expiration date. However, when we create the Inventory Analysis, we are unable to populate the Lot/Batch record and receive an error ‘Inventory analysis cannot be updated. No available quantity exists in the Lot XXXXXX for Part No Y in Site Z’ The only way around this appears to be to update the expiration date, but that defeats the purpose of the test. Is it really not possible to have a control plan for expired stock?

HiWe are facing an issue on 24R1 on user connection.We configured a Azure AD authentication with SCIM module. User creation settings are as follows, as recommended in technical documentation.  However, at first connection, when user clicks on Log in with SSO Azure CFG, he is asked to modify his password. After that, user can connect both way : with SCIM by clicking on “Log in with...” and by filling Username/password. Does anyone has any ideas on what is wrong on our configuration ?Many thanks

I’ve deployed about 80 system changes this year (both configuration and development), and I’d like to move faster. I want to implement automated testing with the eventual goal of implementing continuous deployment. I need an automated means of signing off on system changes, for both IFS-supplied deliveries and our in-house developed code. A true end-to-end test would require us to drive simulations from the Enterprise Explorer GUI, then validate the system outputs. Has anyone done this? (We’re on Apps 9 UPD 13.)  

Hello!I’m very familiar with the steps that are required to refresh a non-production IFS environment from production in previous versions of IFS, but am not certain if there are any required tasks for refreshing an IFS environment in the Cloud version.Are there any particular steps required to update the middle-tier for the Cloud version once the database has been cloned? Would I just run the installer.cmd file from the latest delivery that was applied to get the middle-tier re-established or is that step no longer necessary? Normally a reconfiguration in previous versions of IFS would get the needed updates to FND_SETTING_TAB made (or simply update the table directly) but wanted to ask around to see if there’s anything else that needs to be done.Thanks for having a look!-Randy

Hi AllSo far I've tested unsuccessfully in ifs 24.1.1 the following scenario. Received a PO into Inventory and moved those parts to a RWH through Shipment order. However the Demand ref1...4 is empty on the Shipment order line. The expectation is to fetch the demand PO # as the ref no on the Shipment order line. Can someone help fetch that through their testing and advise me? Where do I set the demand code for that?  Also if there are multiple PO receipts where multiple Demand Refs can be shown on the Shipment Order, its ideal [upto 4 I guess] Thanks,Asela

Hi, On the Resource Planning Database and the RAM_Resource_Skill_Availability table is there a way of getting the dates for the availability window i.e. a Start and End. Looking at the table there is a just a pattern id so i’m unable to to use that. Just wondering if the times are stored elsewhere?Cheers Ady

I am trying to finish a work order but not possible due to the error”Work Order has an active Requisition . Remove requisition to continue”. Upon checking the requisition it seems the requisition is deleted and not available. Is there a work around in closing this work order?

24.1.6My document default value for ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM = Create Document Assistant.The document default value for OBJ_CONN_REQ = N at the global level and also N at the Document Class level (class = MW-TRAIN).The Object Type ShopOrd is NOT setup for Quick Object Connect.When I create a new document revision at the Shop Order header, in the Document Information panel of the Assistant I enter a Class (MW-TRAIN) and Title and I do not attach a file. In the Object Connections panel of the Assistant I do not select a Document Folder or any Other Connections.When I select Finish, the document revision is created but it is not connected to the Shop Order header.I understand that I can change the default value for ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM to Create New Document and I will get the desired results (document created AND connected to the Shop Order header).Why does the Create Document Assistant make an object connection only when the source object is an object that is setup for Quick Object Conn

Dear Community,As per my understanding the MRP-job deletes unreleased purchase order requestions (status=planned). This is how it is also described in IFS online documentation “Phases of MRP” in Phase 1, as attached below.However, at our customer (IFS Cloud 24R1), released purchase requisitions are also deleted and recreated by the MRP job (new ID, status planned) Is this a bug,is there a new setting/a new behaviour of IFS Cloud?Thank you for your help.

Hello all, I have not been able to find the answer in the help section, or through general testing. I am trying to enforce the requirement of a decimal point in a variable analysis entry. We are currently using IFS Apps 10 UPD 22As an example: If the nominal value is 90.5, Outer Min is 90.0, and Outer Max is 91.0, is there any way to force the operator to report the measurement to at least 1 decimal place?The fields appear to be basic numerical entry fields and I do not see any settings for variable that allow you to specific to a certain decimal place. I am not sure if this functionality exists or not, but I am hoping for some guidance. Thank you.

As shown in the attached screenshot, I added a "LIKE" condition in the filter criteria. However, I received an error message indicating that the syntax is incorrect.Additionally, it seems I cannot add multiple rows to define separate filters for each condition.If there is an alternative solution to achieve this filtering, I would be grateful if you could share it with me.Thank you in advance for your help!Best regards,Karim 

When exporting selected records from Project Connection screen after waiting for few minutes giving an error.Steps to re-create the issue.1. Navigate to Project Management -->Analysis-->Project Connections2. Query for any project with high volume data3. Try to export all rows and all columns. I can see the solution (System parameter - EXCEL_EXTENSION_MODE) for IFS Cloud.Is there a solution available for IFS APP10 Aurena as well?  

Where exactly should I put define.tem in a customer-solution git repo? If I understand the file's comment correctly, it looks like it belongs at \fndbas\template\fndbas\define.tem, but I know this file is ancient and goes way back to Harvest and probably before. We are in IFS 10 update 22. We are working in the IEE client but I am working on setting up some in Aurnea as well. I am running into an issue with updating the actual object ID on work tasks. We have two companies and three sites. My company 20 has two sites - 210 and 215. I am trying to update the Actual object ID to a serial object out in the field once we figure out which one it is. IEE does not let me update the Actual Object Site at all - or search for the other site. My work order site is even 215, but it will not allow me to update. Work task with site 215 reported object 210. Both are company 20.Search for site 215 actual objectsNo results foundThis is the serial object that does exist at 215 that we would want to report as the actual object the work was done on. Aurena looks like it would let me but continues to say the equipment object doesn’t exists although it does. Is it feasible in Cloud to restrict the available choices from a dropdown?  For example, per below we only want “Shipment and Customer Order” to be the available choice.  We found it invaluable in Apps9 to prevent incorrect selection/setup.   (Actioned here in Apps9) 

Dear experts,We are in the process to implement Project Budget (Forecast) functionality for one of our client who is in Project based manufacturing business.I understand that Project Budget functionality only controls Procurement related transactions against a pre-defined active budget, however, system is not checking Project budget for Purchase Order/Purchase Requisitions generating for outside operation on Shop Order releasing.Though, system properly updating Planned Committed Cost, Committed Cost for Shop Order but not updating Purchase Order related cost on project.Not sure whether I am missing some setup.​@Marcel.Ausan  ​@Buddhika Kurera ​@matt.watters

Hi all,I’m trying to GET the content of a Quick Report using the REST APIs. I can see the endpoints in API Explorer; but when I make the request in Postman, although the status code is 200, the payload is an empty array (see image).I’ve tried this with a couple of different endpoints:https://.../projection/v1/QuickReports.svc/QuickReport_36969() https://.../projection/v1/QuickReport36969.svc/VirtualOrderSqlReportsBoth give the same result. I’ve also tried with a couple of other Quick Reports - it’s not just that one.The endpoints are showing as ‘Active’ in API Explorer (and presumably I’d get an error if they weren’t anyway). Is there something else I need to do to ‘activate’ the APIs? The Quick Reports themselves are generated from an SQL statement, if that makes a difference (and to confirm - if I view the report directly, there is plenty of data to see!).
