Hi All,I have introduced a new custom tile to IFS MWO Service via a modification.I would like to position this tile as the last tile of the page but I cannot.Tried with sortorder = 9 and sortorder = 15 but looks like FW does not care about sortorder in the Navigator entry and it positions the tile as fifth tile.Any thoughts on how to change this tile position?

APP 10 end of extended support is March 27, 2028What is the Update-plan for APP 10 leading up to that date?Update 26 was released December 5, 2024. Will there be 4 updates released in 2025, 2026 and 2027 as well? What about 2028?Does anyone have any info on this subject ?

I’ve done the training where I built and configured a page through IFS Developer Studio. I’ve also done another training where I’ve built and configured a page through the Page Configuration and Page Designer option in the client. I am trying to understand the differences between the two:Which approach would be the best when building or editing a page? For example, is there a common scenario where I should be choosing to edit/build a page through IFS Developer Studio rather than doing it through Page Configuration/Page Designer? When I edit or build the page through Page Configuration or Page Designer and publish it, will the change reflect in my customer solution repository? (I am trying to understand how editing in the client affects my customer solution repository on editing screens) I’ve been told that there is a way to hide and show fields based on a value of a field on the page - I can’t seem to find documentation on this sort of customization, is there one out there?Any help wou

Hi - we have a scenario where we want to change Open Date on Service Orders WITHOUT changing the ETAs. If I create an import that changes just the Open Date, the SLA automatically changes the ETAs (which makes sense).But we have scenarios where we want the ETAs not to be changed. I find the dates in the service_call_env-table  But when I create an import I can’t find a corresponding BO  Is this not available?

Hi Experts,I am trying to assign skills for my resources and use them in request tasks. My question is on field ‘In Use Cost’ (tool tip help : The cost to apply when the skill is available at the time and being used) in skill setup. I have set this value as 30 and did not use any other setups like skill levels.and then assign this skill to one of my resources. The first thing I noticed is that ‘in use cost’ in skill did not inherit. (Is this correct?)Then I created a request task with plan start and finish date within above date range and add above set skill as a demand. If I report time against this demand (with an assignment for the above resource or not) I always get the cost setup in resource group(which is 10).Can someone please explain if I should follow any other setups or my thinking about this functionality not correct?Thank you,Roshan..

Hi All,We are transitioning from Soap to the Restful Gateway, the Rest calls etc are fine and we have these working, the problem is that we need to remove the webinterface installation on the server but this is currently used to pull in the Service Reference to serialize the xml from the IFS Workbench into a DsSheduleData object so that we can use it in our inhouse code and then serialize it back to send back to IFS.My question is where can I get the DsScheduleData schema/object from when we don’t have the Service Reference to pull it from?I have located the DsScheduleData.xsd in the install documentation folder and created a class file from it using xsd.exe but this does not replicate the reference file obtained via soap so our code can not use it the same way.I also found a Schema.dll in the Restful Gateway folder and tried to import this but I get dependency issues and cannot load it into code,I may be missing something very simple but I am hitting my head against a wall at the mome

Hi all, I'm having a set of data as shown in the below table. Stock count according to the type for each monthCurrently, this data is showing in the lobby as below where it splits according to the type for each month. But, I actually want the y axis to be split according to the type for each month. In this example i’d want it to look like below. Is there any feasibility of getting a chart like above in IFS lobby? 23.2.3When editing the Person on a step in the Approval Process on a Change Request, there are two shortcomings.In the drop-down list, the only attribute to select by is the Person ID (first image below), which for some customers may not be obvious to whom this refers. Can the Name column be added here or would this need an Idea request? When using Find in this drop-down list, the only attribute to select by is the Person ID (second image below). Hello, I was trying to create new tabular model based off the existing sales one. I was trying to add a new IAL to the tabular model and was able to create the data source and add the data source to the tabular model.  I did set up some relationships between my newly created IAL data source and one of the existing tables in the tabular model However, When I get deploy the tabular model, I’ve been running into this error: REQUEST: 25203 SSISERROR: Analysis Services Execute DDL Task - SSAS:Error: Execution of DDL failed. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this error and if anyone was able to get around this? I was wondering maybe I missed a step in the process? Thank you.

We are currently moving into IFS Cloud and we have some questions about the Global Context:What happens if you have customize our global context, then update or patch your instance? Do the customizations get wiped out? Is keeping Global Context “vanilla” still the best practice in 24R1 and beyond?

 Hello All, I am looking at connecting a part to a production line so I can use the unscheduled receipts function to convert unsterile manufactured parts into sterile parts with minimal admin. The steriliser is run several times a day, with multiple parts, so using Shop Orders would create a lot of admin work. The Sterile parts have a forecast and are Master Scheduled. The production receipts for the sterile parts are created manually, as are the Shop Orders for the unsterile parts, but I want MRP to generate the Purchase Requisitions for the components based off the forecast. I’ve set up a stucture like below, and tested out and all seems to be working as I hoped. When reading the documentation about preparing a migration job that uses procedure Output File, the text shows:Write data to a server fileWhen File Location = OnServer File Path must be a valid directory object. The column has a List-Of-Value with valid directory objects.So logged in as IFSAPP in the database an Oracle directory MIGOUTFILES was created with C:\MigOutFiles as path on the server (I have created it on the database server).Let's take the company as view to export. I select MIGOUTFILES as output path. File name is Companies.txt and File location is set to OnServer.To make this as simple as possible, in the File Mapping only one field/row is created with field COMPANY.All rules are inactive.When starting this migration job online the system reports: Failed to open file Companies.txt on MIGOUTFILES.The windows directory exist, so why do I get this message?

Hi,We’ve added a persistent field to the “WarehouseTask” entity in IFS Cloud. We’d like to populate this field via a workflow, but it turns out it isn’t possible to make a PATCH call on the WarehouseTaskHandling.svc/WarehouseTaskSet. In a Risk Analysis I want to use tab Object Connection to connect the Analysis to a serial object. For that I prepared the following object connection, as the serial object was not available in the dropdown to make an object connection to:Figure 1 - Object ConnectionWith this I was at least able to select the equipment serial from the dropdown in the new object connection. However, I noticed that there is no further functionality, one has to include the complete key in the reference field:Figure 2 - No dropdown on Object KeyFor a work order it works nice and we see that reflected. For a customer order there is a dropdown and when that is used one can select a customer order.However there is no dropdown for the EquipmentSerial LU. I can't ask from the end customer to enter a full object key with all the 'odd’ characters.Anyone solved this?

Hello,do I understand right that Operational Condition option is no longer provided in Functional Object form and is left only in Serial Object form?  

Can we add additional Id’s in the general Custom Permission of a Security Role in the Security Setup? We want to disable ID “quick_search” in all modules within a role, but now that would mean to customize one module at the time what will be a huge job.
