Hi, We want to trigger an Process Flow on Event when an Interaction is created. Why is this trigger only available on Service Orders and not on Customer Support Orders.I want to trigger on Customer Support and not on Service Order. Service Order Triggers: Support Orders: We are on Version: 15.4.6Thanks,Robin

We have an expression field called ‘Total Price’ on our Request screen that contains the formula below.sum(part_need.extended_price). Also shown below.This was created by a consultant some years ago. What has been reported by users is that is counts the part need lines twice. Example below where the Total Price calculates as double the expected value.On investigating I noticed that the part need table does not have a field called extended price so I dont know how this works at all.Further investigation reveals that when only the part need is present the Total Price calculates correctly. Only when the part need is shipped to create a part usage goes the value double. This would suggest that although the formula below seemingly sums only part needs. It is in fact summing part needs and part usages.sum(part_need.extended_price)Any advide would be appreciated.Thanks,Barry

Hi All,What is the syntax to hide fields based on uncheck of a check box in mobile. In short I want to hide 2 mobile fields when the other field checkbox is unchecked(unticked). For example I want to hide part id and quantity when the From Part Needs check box is unchecked on the below mobile screen.   Thanks in Advance,Pinmaya

We have a few thousand obsolete inventory parts (status = O - OBSOLETE). Is there a way to hide/archive these parts to stop coming up on Inventory Part searches? It is “cluttering” the screen and there is no reason for users to see these PNs.In our old system we [in general] archived parts that had been obsoleted for at least 2 years. Once archived, it would not show up on standard inventory part searches. There was a special way to search for archived parts and it was possible to “unarchive”, but seldom did we ever have a need to do this.Thanks

Are there any special considerations or configuration that must be performed to allow for the usage of longer paths when saving a Message Format as JSON?I seem to be unable to save a new Message format with Base Message Format as JSON and Path as anything more than 3 characters.  Attempts at longer paths such as /devices causes an error:  ErrorPath (JsonExpression) exceeds the configured maximum length of 3The Assyst Wiki (assystETM Message Formats:JSON) does not mention any limitations in Path, nor mention how to configure the maximum length. 

When a person is connected to an resource group and when that resource group is their primary resource group the resource group is fetched correctly in time registration. But I am able to see the other resource groups and able to select other resource groups and saved the record too.An employee should be only seeing the resource groups only connected to them and not all the resource groups which in the company. Any solution for above. Our employees work in multiple resource groups and they are tagged in for specific resource groups?

I am getting the attached error when trying to specify an Internal Supplier and Supplier Site.  The error seems to suggest that there are already Purchase Parts at this site connected to this Supplier.  Do the parts need to be set up differently or is this an issue with the Supplier set up?

We would like to Invoice block a Freight Charge which is in order level. Could you please let us know if we can do Invoice block a customer order – Charge line, which is not connected to any Line? In some orders, we need to review/update our freight charges before it get invoiced. So we wanted to Invoice block the charge.If there is no way to Invoice block FREIGHT charge,  Is it possible to connect the FREIGHT to a delivered order line and Invoice block the Order line and after Freight charge is reviewed/updated then uncheck Invoice block line and remove connection line to the Freight charge? LCS Case: G2326906

I have a client requirement where the supervisor is in one branch of the organization and the employee is in another.  The branch were the employee is located is not in the same line as the supervisor. In the example below, the supervisor (Employee 13) is in branch 250MGT, the employee to be supervised (Employee 18) is in branch FINSL.The supervisor (Employee 13) is in branch 250MGT, the employee to be supervised (Employee 18) is in branch FINSL.Here is the employee file assignments for each.I added the employee 18’s position as an accessible position to employe 13, but it does not show 13 as a supervised employee.I can add access to the entire branch, as below, but the supervised employees are all of them. (employee 17 and 18)Employee 17 is not in the same position as 18.  I don’t understand what the first access set up even does.  I thought it would give access to one position in branch FINSL. Below is 17’s employee file just in case someone asks.

Hi all,I don't want users to see the Access tab but this feature comes from FND_END_USER. FND_END_USER is standart permission set therefore i don’t want change standart permission set.When i get the access tab from FND_END_USER what happens?Or What is other solve? 

In IFS Cloud 23.2.9, in work order management through maintenance module, I am not able to find the class that is assigned to the corrected fault on the work order as we could have in previous version.Field “class” in V8 :In VCloud, we can see 2 times the field “Item class” in the execute work task window but both are not the ones we need.  Wouldn’t it be a bug to have the same “item class” field on this window and not to have the “class” field ? What is strange is that I can see the required field on historical work order but not able to reach it in the flow🤔 Thanks for your help

Hello,I am looking for help to get a clear set of instructions on how to get MWO working with IFS Cloud. I have noticed there is a lot of documentation that depends on which version you are installing. I am looking to setup the most recent on Aurena Native. Following Questions:Am I to follow the Regular Set of instructions for installing the Touch Apps Server? - IFS Touch Apps Server Installation I am having a hard time understanding how to get data to be sent between IFS Client and MWO, is there a clear set of instructions for this? I found the following Mobile work order pages: Mobile Work Order - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud IFS Cloud DocumentationBoth of these pages mention different permissions that need to be setup. Should I be referencing both of these pages?I also noticed the one page mentions Group Push and that Users need to be connected to sites. Is there anywhere that clearly explains how this can be setup? Any help is appreciated. 

Hi All, I am looking for some confirmation on a question(s). Situation:For both CPO/Shipment and WO we can create ‘Pick Lists’. But it seems that - although they are both called ‘Picklists’ - they are not the same. We already notice this with the Pick List numbering which does not seem to follow in order. CO/Shipment picklist can be a high number, but the WO picklist is a low. And if you create first a WO picklist and get for example ‘5’, then a CO/Shipmennt picklist could be ‘1256’ and again a WO picklist that would be ‘6’ (following on 5). So it seems they follow different incremental values. It also shows on ‘Picked Pick List lines’, where the ‘Source Ref’ = ‘WO’ cannot be selected, there is only ‘Customer order’ / ‘Project Deliverables’ / ‘Shipment Order’ / ‘Purchase Receipt Return’. Pick by Choice only seems to work on CO/Shipment Picklists, not on WO picklist.   So questions:Am I right that these are 2 totally different  sets of tables? If so, would it not have been more transpar

Hello Community!Today I’m trying to insert some Units of Measure using Data Migration Manager. When I try to commit my changes, I see the error description “Method MODIFY failed : ORA-20122: IsoUnit.ERRUPDUSED: The field [USED_IN_APPL] is not valid for update for user defined codes.” in those UoM that are user defined.Any ideas how can I approach a solution for this? So far I tried setting the “USED_IN_APP” as “Out of Scope” in the Target Table definition but that doesn’t make any difference.

Hi Guys,Is there any out of the box solution available to mass update the PO lines planned receipt date in one go for a specific purchase order.One purchase order usually contains the 30+ lines for different projects and parts with the same wanted receipt date on header. Seems changing the PO header wanted delivery data wont do any changes to the existing lines. Any one found a solution for this? Client is using 23R2 Thanks,Chamath

24.1.5In the Settings dialog for Machine Operations Scheduling, there is a setting for Current Gantt Chart Height with the options Small, Medium, Large, and Auto. When I change this value, all it seems to do is shift the Gantt left-to-right or vice versa, the height does not change.What is the intended function of this setting?

 Hi All,When a Type Designation is connected via the General Tab of the functional object, and a Technical Class Template is also connected, the information of the technical class and attributes details are not visible on the Type Designation Tab. Instead, it only appears on the Requirements Tab. The same information appears to be duplicated across three locations: Type Designation Tab Requirements Tab Attachment Panel (as characteristics)   I’m trying to understand the functional purpose of the Type Designation Tab. Is there a specific use case or workflow where this tab is essential, or is it redundant due to the availability of the same information on the other tabs and attachment panel?Please let me know your thoughts!Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

Our customer has installed version 24.1.5 recently (previously used version 23.1.4) . They have custom fields in the Document Revision window, and the view used for the Document Revision pages is DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCE. In the core code, IFS removed the objkey from the view, which is preventing us from publishing the custom fields in the DocIssue entity to this view. Additionally, due to the custom fields in the Document Revision window, we are unable to load the configured page.I haven’t found any solution to resolve this issue other than adding the objkey to the DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCE view as a customization. Many thanks for your inputs on this issue. Best regards,Uvini
