Hi All, Can anyone share Data Migration Manager> Template Project file for 23R2 and if you have 24R1 as well?

Hi, There is a user-client who can access to IFS and do some jobs that are privileged to him, just because of he doesn’t have Employee File record he cannot access to projects which he is privileged too. we tried to create a role and assigned him on project module, but this didn’t work. To add him as Team member he has to have Employee File record otherwise he cannot access to project.Is there a way to make him access to projects without creating Employee File record?Think there is a consultant who you will grant access to projects, he is not the company’s employee. Kinds.

When I click to open a document from the attachments, I get the information message "application server DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH: //IFSPRODIFSDoc/\.No Document file operation cannot be performed" and I cannot open the file.

Good morning.  I would like to know what determines who is able to Approve/Authorise Expense Sheets?  Is it the Position Structure, Position/Supervisor Access Setup?  Wrt Travel Requests, there is a Travel Request Configuration available, but not for Expense Sheets.  Many thanks.  Anya.

Hello community.I’m looking for help to identify the parameter(s) in FSM6.25 that determine the number of open bill schedules.  In our current configuration, we are generating 1 for annual, 4 for quarterly and 12 for monthly which creates certain challenges when it comes to maintenance and reporting activities.  In actuality, we really on need the next bill schedule to be generated.  Any suggestions?Thanks,Richard

I am new to IFS and I am trying to understand the process of attaching a specific approval template to an attachment area that will trigger the approval process when a document is first attached or an existing attached document is edited.  Can anyone help? 

In our product set up, we use PSO in tandem with IFS Cloud WO Management. PSO continuously schedules and optimized work-tasks, and broadcast plans back to Cloud.What I’m trying to understand is how/when data is being exchanges between PSO and Cloud. I can see in PSO when data is being broadcasted, but I have not yet found where in Cloud I can see how this plan is being processed.Can anybody put me on the right track?

Hi, We are having repeat problems when creating receipts for Inventory Parts over the month end period. Often raw materials arrive over the weekend, and sometimes the last day of the month is a Saturday or Sunday, but they are not booked until Monday. When trying to backdate the receipt, it says it cannot be done because of the Inventory Statistics period being incorrect. Prior to Transferring Inventory Transactions, I tried going into the Inventory Transaction Details to change the applied date and had the message: “The new date must be equal to or greater than the start date of the latest period in the inventory value statistics” There has to be a way to allow this to happen. Can anyone help please? Thank you, John

Hi All I am trying to work out an issue on user access, I have a user who can create a new manual supplier invoice and then save however when they move into the posting proposal screen they have access to see everything but they are not able to create a new posting line. the bit i am struggling with is we have 2 legal entity’s on our system and when they are in one this access is fine but when they switch to the other company they lose the ability to do this. they are in the correct user group, is there anywhere else you can think to check to see if this user needs to be added ?

Southwest Airlines will soon be assigning seats, so the need to track inop seats at the actual seat number will be critical.   Currently, we track seats for each row, not at the individual seat number.  When we have a fault or an MEL, the seat in question is notated in the fault description, but we have no means of being able to select the actual seat.  How do other operators, that assign seats, track inop seats in Maintenix?  Are your seats currently tracked to the individual seats?  

Is there a page with definitions of the MRP Messages?  There are so many of them and I need to be able to explain to my purchasing team what each one means.  Help!

Hello,We are currently using IFS Cloud 23R1 and have IFS host our environments. I have a few questions that I’m hoping other community members will be able to answer. We recently configured a new file storage repository and would like to know if the clones we request IFS to perform will also clone the file storage for these environments. Previously when we stored our files in database storage, this would occur, but since this is a new storage outside of File Storage, even though its still hosted by IFS, we aren’t sure if this will be affected. (We’d like it to be)  Is there anything that isn’t affected by the clone other than users? Maybe something that indicates which environment we are in? We have some configurations in place that help with displaying ‘this is a test environment’ at the top of all forms. This helps us stop confusion since we can now differentiate forms printed from a test environment rather than our production environment. The downside is whenever a clone occurs, all

I have a number of customer orders that have been raised and saved. these orders need to be amended from 1 site to another. Is there a way to do this other than deleting the orders and re-raising on the new site?

The customer is in the process of upgrading from Apps 10 to 24R1 and needs to confirm whether EPPM 23.12 is supported for 24R1. HelloUsing the date parameter and any of the selection parameters it works perfectly, but when I use Model: It doesn't work.I am sending the main screen where the documentation indicates that it must have a model and a location:   I am sending the scope screen where we can see the model and the location that is ideal for the recurring service.  As you can see, there are scopes, this is where the problem occurs, if I use only the start and end date it generates the request and works as it should, but if I use the model filter it doesn't work  This is the error presented when I use model, I need it to work.  The service object is functional 

We are regularly getting this error - but I am struggling to find any dates out of sync.  I have seen the previous conversation that indicates this was resolved.  We are on Apps10 UPD21.Trying to tackle the failed transactions, but some are proving tricky.  Any help would be great.  Thanks

To all you clever IFS folk,Is there anywhere in the supplier set up that you can block the user from raising a Purchase Order (PO)? I know you can make the supplier inactive on the invoicing tab but this does not stop a user from raising and releasing a PO on the supplier? We are wanting an easy way with new suppliers to allow their setup and stop orders being placed until all QA documentation has been received. We are on our journey to Cloud but ideally need something we can put in place in Apps9 asap.Thanks Sarah

Hi,we would like to report the picking via the REST API in the shipping process. (I know how the API basically works and we have already been able to implement other interfaces with it). As we often have shipping processes with more than 100 parts and do not pick them in one day, we would like to confirm the picking item by item. This works in the web interface via ‘Report Picking of Pick List Lines’: When I display the history in the ‘Log Window’, ‘ReportPickingOfPickListLines.svc/FndTempLobs’ is called up. Here I cannot enter the line, article, location, lot or quantity. It is unclear to me how IFS works at this point.I then looked at the functionality for the mobile scanners (Warehouse Data Collection):You have to confirm each step individually, which is too much for us. That's why we want to simplify the whole process for the user via the REST API. But again, I don't understand the REST API. For example, ‘WarehouseDataCollectionHandling.svc/ScanningClientVirtualSet(Objkey=’2311377A

We can successfully perform CREATE/UPDATE/GET/QUERY operations within existing processes. Tehe IFS REST API connector is configured fine and connects without any issue. Receiving errors when we use the IFS REST - Partner Connector - FUNCTION V2. Below are the steps that I have followed. I am not able to post the entire content in the post, thus have attached as word document.
