Hello IFS Community, I have a question regarding Configuration ID for -IFS24- . Where is the new configuration created or stored, and what is the IFS page where I can view the data? I am aware that the table and view in IFS are CONFIGURATION_SPEC_TAB and CONFIGURATION_SPEC, respectively.Additionally, how can I determine which customer order line is associated with a newly created Configuration ID? Is there a straightforward way to find this information?For example, I have the CO *1017 (see screenshot below) clicking on the line I can navigate to Configuration.In this example, the Configuration ID 63 was created or edit.Could you please let me know the IFS page name where I can view this Configuration ID? Additionally, how can I see its association with the customer order *1007?Please refer to the screenshot below for more details.Thank you for your assistance!Best regards,JL

In one of our profiles we are not allowed to change the activity when a SA is assigned. But in other profiles this is possible. I have searched and searched and search for the setting for this, but to no avail… HELP!  

Is there a way to have the “Action History” and “Links” panels on an assyst ticket expanded by default?  Thanks! 

We have a customer that wants us to build and warehouse units/parts, etc. for their salespeople to sell to end customers.  They want to own the inventory and we warehouse and ship for them. What’s the preferred way to do this?  Or is this outside the scope of IFS?

Hi, in IFS Cloud  i have setup 4 PM actions that belongs to same PM Group Id and on the PM actions i have set the Merge to Yes, My goal ist to create a Route Work Order/Tasks with 4 steps-Then i perform Calendar Generation and all PM action ends up  with 1 WO , 1 Task and 4 steps, on the steps, 4 different object exists ( from PM action).Also, the pre-posting on a Work Task is set to mandatory, but no pre-posting exists on the Task in this scenario, all the steps has “it’s own preposting” from the different object.When trying to finish the Task, an message tells me that pre-posting on Work Task in mandatory.Whats the correct setup for this scenario? The cost for material, hours .. should be devided into the objects on the steps.Please advise.

I found a table named PROJECT_GROUP_LOV in the database.Now i want to add some records to this table.But how can I see where this table is used in which interface in IFS?It should be under Financials => Project Accounting => Projects => Project Groups but there is only PROJECT_GROUPS table here.     

Hi All, We have two customer groups (e.g., Group A and Group B), each with one or more customers assigned to them.When creating an order for Group A using a sales part, is it possible to apply a price break to the group of customers?For example, the price group could be as follows:Min Qty: 1000, Price: $20Min Qty: 2000, Price: $15Min Qty: 3000, Price: $14In this case, I may have 2 orders for Group A (the orders would be for 2 customers), and the total ordered quantity is 2500 units. Does IFS have an option to apply the price break based on the cumulative quantity ordered across these orders?  ThanksDivya

Dear Team,I am currently working on invoking a REST endpoint via REST SENDER1 for an APPS 10 customer. However, the application message consistently remains in the "Waiting" state, and the following error is generated:Exception while sending data Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect The customer is operating on UPD Level 20. I have reviewed several related posts in the community and followed the suggested steps, including manually suspending and restarting the application message, but without success.This issue occurs for both the event action type "REST Call" and when invoked via the plsql_rest_sender_API.I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this issue.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Best regards,Nija

I have created an import to add item notes. This adds text to the Item Notes field on installed items, but they do not appear as Item note on service orders. If I manually add text in the Item Note field, on the other hand, Item Note is shown on the service.(I apologize for language)So I suspect there is an issue with the import. Any tips:

HiWe are facing an issue on our new instance CFG. We cannot print any document. In the Report Application Messages, Print Job are stuck with status Working. I tried to create a new queue and move some jobs to this queue, with same results. I also tried to stop and start all queues…Have anyone seen the same problem ? Many thanksBenoit

Hi,When running Apps 10 I have qualification profiles assigned against routing work guidelines based on employee competencies. I need the work guidelines signed off by a suitably qualified employee. This all works fine in Enterprise Explorer from the shop floor workbench when signed in as an employee, however in Aurena there does not appear to be any work guideline functionality on the shop floor workbench, so that if I was to use the shop order work guideline screen, this does not allow me to enter as an employee and so bypasses qualification requirements.Has anyone had any success in using qualification profiles on work guidelines in Aurena, if so how? Or is this just missing functionality in Aurena? ThanksAndy

The interfaces use REST APIs.As part of the deployment of these interfaces, I have a request to manage versions of the REST APIs so that they can identify the version number of the interface in the url and activate one or the other.Has anyone ever had to manage different versions in an IFS API? In IFS Cloud 24R1,If an email has been transmitted e.g : a Purchase Order and failed due to an invalid email address.On which screen in IFS can we check the failed email transmissions and the reason for the failure ? 

Hello, I am trying to create a new report rule that helps me to print the only handling unit layout that was created for the specific layout.  I have created the rule like this:  Expression 1 :  I have tried both APTR and ‘APTR’  for the Expression 2. Only one part number is going to be related for only one specific customer. That’s why i have referenced sales part cross reference. And also part nos are same with the catalo nosThis label should have been printed on the shop order handling unit structure , before packing. When i print this label from the shop order , i am waiting from that system that i chooses the correct layout for me.  But it still chooses the labels according to the report definition sequence.  I want the system to choose the label i have defined on the action of the report rule.

I am trying to import an IFS REST - Partner Connector Operation in Boomi for a StandardEntity (BusinessMailEntity) but I am getting the “Unable to browse connector: Projection not found, or not Included in Compatibility Application Type”.Things I have done:I’ve activated it in the API Explorer screen. I have granted my Boomi Service User the permissions to that projection. I’ve also tested the calls in Postman using our boomi connector set up and it works fine but not in Boomi. In Boomi, I’ve tried all combinations of Actions and Projection Category when importing the projection but no luck.I have been successful with importing a “Standard” API but I have not done “StandardEntity” before.Am I missing a step that I need to do for Boomi to recognize a StandardEntity API?

Hi teamI would like to understand the functionality behind the “Use Default Payment Method for Installments” option under the Supplier/Payment Tab.I know that when this toggle is enabled, the default payment method is updated in the supplier invoice or installment plan. However, my question is:When this toggle is enabled, is there a limitation that restricts payments to the default payment method only?I have the following scenario:The above toggle is enabled for the supplier. The supplier’s default payment method is ACH, but CHK is also connected. I hve created an invoice so the payment method in installment plan is ACH Create the payment proposal and the Payment method % -So my invoice is included to the payment proposal But when I try to create the payment order for the payment method CHK,I get below errorI noticed that I can make a payment using CHK if I disable the “Use Default Payment Method for Installments” toggle under the supplier.Could you explain why the system restricts me
