We have created a Work Task for a Service Request and have assigned it to a Resource Group:
and have linked a person as a resource to the resource group:
but can find no way to assign the Request Work Task to the individual person:
Can anyone provide guidance on how this can be done, or confirm what Basic Data Setup would be required (and has possibly been missed) to allow this to be completed

Hi Anmise, as a follow on from my previous response I’ve managed to sort it out. The issue wasn’t in the configuration set up, it was due to the fact that I had generated the work task with reference to a Quotation which had to have a status of Accepted, once this was done I was able to change the Service Request status to Released, and then within the Work Task linked to the Service Request the ASSIGN button becomes visible:
If you go to Request Task Scheduling and Allocation (Click on View on the Request Work Task page) you should see an option to assign work. If you have defined a dataset (basic data, Scheduling Dataset) you can use the Dispatch Console or the Scheduling Workbench (depending on what components you’ve bought of course).
Hi Anmise, many thanks for the prompt response, unfortunately I’ve already tried this, and there is no way on the Assignments tab that I can add anyone:
I get the same issue when trying to do the same thing from the Request Work Task tab. I was wondering if this could be linked to the Work Task Status, which is currently new, but the only selectable status I can see is “Cancel”.
I’ve checked the Basic Data and can find nothing there that seems to have any impact on this matter
