Hello, I want to create 3 new fields on the master part.Field 1 will be a list of values which I will create in an enumeration.What I would like to do is only display the values in field 2 depending on the value selected in field 1.Also, the values listed in field 3 depends on the values in field 2. How do I go about creating the links for field 2 and field 3 please. Thanks

Hi Experts,In work order functional area (before request management work stream), it is possible to generate invoice previews in bulk using ‘generate invoice preview’. It is not clear if this functionality available for request management area as well. If i check the navigator(24R1) i can see two entries, but none of them generate invoice previews for requests i have which are qualified and i can generate invoice previews for same records manually. Hello, In IFS Applications 10 there was a Leadtime Auto option on Supplier for Purchase Part. I am currently working in a IFS Cloud 24R1 environment and can’t find this option, has it been moved somewhere else or is this functionality not available in IFS Cloud?BRSebastian

Hello,Some of our customers receive subsidies from organizations.If the subsidy covers, for example, 20% of the order amount, we need to invoice 20% of the item's price to the funding organization. How can we manage this in IFS?Is it necessary to create two orders for the same item—one with an 80% discount for the organization and another with a 20% discount for the customer?If two orders are created, how can we communicate to the customer that the 20% discount is linked to a subsidy provided by the organization? Thank’s for your help in advanced 

 Hi All, I am generating Wo’s from my Service Contract through PM actions. But I noticed that trhe field ‘Contract Id’, ‘Line No’ and ‘Customer No’ are not defined when creating the WO from that Service Contract. That strikes me as odd since that info is easily obtained. Adding the info after creatin is also not possible - IFS will give an error that the Contract ID cannot be edited for WO generated from PM actions. So somewhere in the background, IFS knows the WO was generated from a PM Action/Service Contract ID - but it does not provide the info. Is this a bug of an inconsistency from the application? It seems very strange and I can’t think of any good reason why this info should be missing. Best RegardsRoel  Background info:Create Contract ID ‘3’Create PM plan for preventive maintenance for contract ID and generate WO ‘12’ from PM plan Check WO 12 - notice that Customer No, Contract ID and Line No are empty   

When you select lead time auto, do you need to change the lead time to 0 so it kicks in, or will it automatically calculate lead time for the PO and over-ride the number of days entered in the field?

From the documentation and experience it looks like if you run PMRP per Activity, it will do no netting at all. But what, if any, will be the difference between running “Perform PMRP per Project PNG” for the whole site and running “Perform Project MRP per Planned Netting Group” also for the whole site if we only have project PNGs? Why are these two jobs needed anyway? To the untrained eye it would seem that “Perform Project MRP per Planned Netting Group” would do the job in both cases (both when you have project PNGs and PNGs over project boundaries).

Hi,For a use case we would like to have an approval process for a service quote with the related rule :if the total price of the quote is under 3000, then Approved directly the quote, if the price is over 3000 sent an approval.Fo this purpose we set a rule like that : (see the word for the full process)But in both cases (price > or < 3000), after submit the quote, the status of the quote is sent for approval. The loop with the rule is not considered.We tested 2 cases  with a total price : > 3000 and < 3000. Same results > sent for approval.Do we forget something with the rule ?Thanks and Regardsantony

Hi. I am attempting to create a Quick Report in IFS CLOUD using type SQL Statement. I successfully created my query and when I use the View Report function to view the report on the client, it successfully displays my report with the necessary parameters I given it. When I export it, the same parameters are kept. Here’s the issue:When I attempt to schedule the report using Schedule Report, I go through all the necessary steps, schedule the report to run on a given basis and receive an email with the report attached as an Excel file. which is all great. However, the report attached does not follow the WHERE clause in my Query, so old datasets that I do not need are being included, even though I specifically say to not include them (see images). When I use View Report:Notice how Cancelled and Closed Orders are not appearing (This is what I want) When I Schedule the Report to send an email: In the attached Excel File, closed and cancelled orders appear ( I am using the same Query). The Qu

I have created a new custom action as shown below in EngApp-Cust.fragment file as shown below: while implementing the action in both file .offline file and .plsvc file then only i am getting this below error.And implemented the action in both .offline file and .plsvc file as shown belowwhen i try to implement in only .offline file then it works fine without error.but for my requirement i need to implement in both .offline file and .plsvc file.Can you please suggest me how to go forward.@Yasas Kasthuriarachchi @James Ashmore @Rukmal Fernando @Uthpala @kathlk @navod

Is there any way of calculating the capacity to manufacture workforce with the HR calendar and HR cycles that are not Day Dependant ?  For instance a cycle like that, : for example, a cycle like this, with a volume of hours But when we start the event of calculing the capacity, we have the same error “The Use HR schedule box is ticked, but it is not used with a valid programme”. Is there a simple solution ?Thanks for advance

Can anyone help me to understand why am I loosing the reference from the lastscreen controlkey ?  I’m not sure which one I should use: getcurrentkey or getcontrolvalue. For me is not clear. Anyhow it is not fetching the selected Attribute from the list. Any ideas ?

I have been tryong to edit a Report using Report Designer, but whatever I do, when I go to print, the change is not visible.The users want to add a small gap between Invoie No and Date on a Customer Ledger Open Item report. I exported the Schema, Layout and Style Sheet to my local PC from the Report DefiitionI opened the report and found the relevant fields an moved them about to create the gap.I saved the report and could see that only the the xsl file had been updated.I re-imported that xsl file back into the Report DefinitionBut when I run the report, nothing has changed. The 2 fields still run into each otherWhat am I missing?I suspect I am missing a step, but what I have done SEEMS correct.Anyone got any idea what I am missing?ThanksRoger

Hi workflow experts,I have configured a workflow with a IFS REST Call. When I get an error response, I want to show the exact error I see from POSTMAN(body of the response). However , currently it shows the main error code 500 but does not show the embedded error ‘[422] Unprocessable Entity’.Any thoughts on how to show full error message to the user?IFS ErrorPOSTMAN error

Hi everyone,Is it possible (with IFS Developer Studio) to create LOV not displaying ID (key), only description?On below screen there is blue marked ID and red marked Description.I’d like only description visible to user and ID only save to DBLOV code in .client file looks like below  lov CustomerIdRef with CCustomerInfoSelector2 {      description = "${CustomerIdRef.Name}";   }This is simple example based on CustomerInfo  but in real i have dictionary with ugly keys (GUID) and i do not want to show it to users :)I think i need LOV instead for example Lookup because i need to filter LOV2 based on choosen value from LOV1.Thanks 

We are down a person in my group at the moment and the person who normally does this step to setup a new user in IFS is not available.This said, how do I set a user default buyer like I used to do in 10 IEE in cloud? This is all I need to set and I can’t find it anywhere in cloud.  

I am trying to create a Read Only custom field (P2P_EXEMPT) on the Posting Proposal screen that looks at another custom field (P2P_EXEPEMTION) on a different screen (Supplier) select cf$_IR35_exemption as P2P_EXEMPTfrom ifsapp.SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL_cfvwhere supplier_id=:identity As sql this runs and returns the CF2 valueHowever, when I put this code into the CF1 build, I get this error when I try to Approve the new field  I have tried both v and t in the ArgumentI have tried everything I can think of and everything gives this errorI have tried this direct accessI have tried using an IALI have added a function to a an APII have created a functionIn all cases the object works and I can select the value I want BUT when I try to out it into the Custom field, I get the above errorDoes anyone know what the issue is?We are using Apps9 Upd 17Any ideas?
