Hello,we are looking into upgrading to IFS10 (current version IFS8) .i have a very basic question: i cannot find the ‘Print Transport task’ option in the Right Mouse Button of IFS10, i read the documentation, looks like it should be under the Right Mouse Button Menu. Can anyone point me to the right direction, if it is moved from right mouse menu...IFS10: IFS8: the option is greyed out but it is there... Thanks 

Is there any embedded business rule, that calculates the Line Item price & adjustment price in quote? If yes what is it? What could be the possible regular expression for validating a currency field along with initial character as “€”. Required help.

I’ve been trying to manually trigger the <perform_send_notification> perform method via XML but the data record doesn’t attach itself to the message.  Here is the XML I’m running: <perform_send_notification>   <parameters>     <dataRow>       <request>          <request_id>1234567</request_id>       <request>     </dataRow>     <distr_list_id>PART_ORDERS</distr_list_id>     <message_name>ICN</message_name>   </parameters> </perform_send_notification>   I run this in the XML Poster and the email is sent, but it’s missing the Request information that I’m trying to pass to it.  I’ve also tried substituting a hierarchy_select statement within the dataRow parameter, but that also didn’t work correctly. Can anyone provide some guidance on the proper syntax to fill into the dataRow parameter in order to connect the data to the message?

Hi folks,   I’m running into a weird situation where old collaborative forecasts from the Demand Client can’t be deleted. I’ve tried to delete trolleys, unpublish to specifics folks in IEE, nothing seems to work.  Moreover, I can’t seem to find documentation on how it’s supposed to work - for whatever reason, I recall that running “create forecasts” on the Demand Server should cleanse old collaborative forecasts….but that doesn’t seem to be what’s happening.  Am I off base in my memory? Is there a way to force a refresh/deletion of collaborative forecasts?

We are using ISO 20022 in file payments, The file name created is very long and strange, so we want to change that logic. How do you do that?  ISO20022 is XML files and the file type have no file template or outgoing file template.    

The voucher detail currency always populates to the billing currency of the entire request. however, each NPU & PU have billing currency's on them individually. if we were to bill 1 NPU line to a USD bill to and the remainder to a CAD bill to, it will ignore those and only put what is under the request itself, not the specific line items. is there a way to adjust the voucher detail to take the currency from the line itself rather than the entire request?

I have created a remote warehouse and on my remote warehouse I’ve setup the address to be that of one of my supplier’s address ID.  I created my supplier assortment with parts and refill parameters.  I run the refill parts and I get my expected Purchase Requisition.  I convert that to a PO and I see the Internal Destination ID and my Register Arrival has the default location of my Remote Warehouse, but on my PO I don’t have the delivery address of my remote warehouse.  Am I missing something here?  What’s the point of setting the address on the remote warehouse and it cannot automatically show on my delivery address for my replenishment order?

We’re getting run-time errors due to date logic/formatting/selections. Is there any standardized set of date formatting rules?I have numerous Oracle SQL websites detailing date functions, but we run into issues every now and then, with each case having slightly different requirements/logic.Scenarios:1.) SQL in an IAL runs fine in the quick report using it, but fails when run in the SQL Query Tool.2.) Is there a way in Apps 8 to add Documents to the Document Text Administration?I am looking for Instant Invoice and Interest Invoice, but do not see them in the list, so was not sure if they could be added. 

Does anyone have information they can share on setting up ACH payments to suppliers?  I think I have the basic setup completed, but I’m not able to actually create a payment that shows the invoices are paid.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Can anyone help me understand the bill period type in invoice templates? I can see the information in the contract code tables but there is no documentation which explains what does the fields period factor & period type mean?

I am trying to create a Report Rule for Customer Order Confirmation, etc. to specify a default Report Layout for each Company, as they each have their own layout. Goal is when a User goes to print a document that the Layout designated for that Company affiliation will be what appears as the Layout. I have not been able to get this to work with Order Confirmation or Pro Forma Invoice from the Customer Order screen.

Hello, I have noticed an issue when using the Multi-Site Part Structure Analysis module in IFS Apps 10. The analysis does not show the full BOM in some cases. Specifically, it stop when when we hit an Inventory Part with a Part Type of Purchased (Purchased Part with a Product Structure). Unfortunately, this paints an incomplete picture when we view a Part using this analysis. Is there another location in IFS where you can view the full structure of a Multi-Site part, or is there a configuration setting that must be enabled to view the structure of a Purchase Part in this screen? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,We would like disable column chooser for users, but I could not find right permission. We will hide some price columns from user. If you know better way, you can suggest to hide price datas from user. 

Can you tell me how we can grant a custom made IAL to user IFSSYS?We find in the documentation the following text.  Own views need to be granted to user IFSPRINT and IFSSYS We are able to grant the custom made IAL’s to IFSPRINT (via IFS application – Security – Permission Sets) but we don’t see the IFSSYS user here.Maybe we have to this in PL/SQL ?

I want to Print Payment Advice form IFS using Order Report but in Order report, there is an option to enter Order ID I don't Know what Order ID system required.  

We used the metering invoicing functionality to generate invoices for customers.  The process creates a Work Order, a Work Task and then generates a customer order which we could invoice off of.  Unfortunately, I need to cancel some of the customer orders but cannot because they were generated from a work order.  Does anyone know the process for cancelling out the work order?
