Solved

Hi, We have users who can’t login to the application because they are getting the error message:“IFS account is already logged in by EXAMPLEDOMAIN\RANDOM.USERNAME. Contact your system administrator!.” But we can’t find their session against the database by looking at Solution Manager - Monitoring - Database Sessions. And we have also tried to query the views:fnd_session_runtimev$sessiongv$session They have tried to restart their machines and it still happens from another machine too. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I’ve created an element for purchase requisition lines awaiting approval and it displays the lines correctly the user needs to authorize.  In Aurena I have it working where you can click on the line and open the purchase requisition screen but I’m running into difficulty with clicking on one of the lines and opening the IEE Purchase Requisition screen so they can look at the entire requisition.  Any guidance would be appreciated. Reqards,William Klotz

Hi,If the Shop Order has a Weighted Average component, you can’t Cancel it even after revers all the transactions and perform Transfer Inventory Transactions. Feels like the correct functionality due to revaluations happening with Weighted Average components each time when cost is changed. But would like to know the real logic behind this.Cheers,Aan

The IRS has added an new tax form 1099-NEC.  We need to get this new form and understand how to set up IFS to get supplier income to report on the correct for and in the correct box.  Current functionality only allows for one 1099-Misc form. Going forward we will need 2 forms, 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. Has anyone us run into this yet? This would be for Apps 9 and Apps 10 as we are planning to finish our upgrade soon.

Hello allHappy New Year to all of youWe have just switched to IFS Apps10. Now we found the following problem in Document Management - Approval Routing. An Approval Step assigned to a user who is not yet in the access schema of the DocIssue. Now he is automatically added by IFS with view rights in the access schema. If this user now wants to approve his step, the message appears that he is not authorized to approve. I have to give the user admin rights so that he can approve the step.In the Solution Manager the security checkpoints for the approvals are activated. However, they are not selected for DocApprovals. In IFS7.5 the approval could be done with view rights without any problems.Have any of you had the same or a similar experience and what can be done against it?Where can this be configured / set? Thanks for your supportPeter

Dear All,IEE Version: IFS Application Version 10 Update 7I am looking for a functionality on work assignment to track time in two below scenarios. My customer is from service management background:Customer personnal (employees) are working in morning shift (6AM to 6 PM) and night shift (6PM to 6 AM) with 12 hours duration each. When work task duration is for more than a day multiple work assignments get created based on HR Schedules. We have status - assigned, accepted, start travel (onroute), waiting at location, work started, pauses and work completion for work assignments currently in standard application. Customer wants to track additional statuses for handover of work between the shift personals at the end of shift and want to track the status for travel back on the work assignments. Is there a way to do that ? For morning shift personal if the work is scheduled to start at 6 AM at customer’s client location then he will start planning work at say 4 AM (planning for necessary tool

We have a situation where a customer was cash in advance but they are now being granted terms. We entered in a couple of orders and created and posted Advanced Invoices, we cannot release the orders now due to the advanced invoices. Is there a way to cancel advanced invoices?

I am setting up a new report in the same location as my other Operational reports but get the following error.  How do I resolve this? The Report layout file AgrShopOrderPrint_test.rpt does not exist in the Crystal Web Service

We’re on APPS10 UP6.   I’ve configured the IFS History Log to show changes to a specific field on the inventory Part.  The logging works and as an administrator I can see all changes,  but when a user on the Inventory Part does View - Record History  they can only see the changes they made not the field changes that another user made.  To me that defeats the purpose of the Record History - to see who changed a field and to what value.  If I set system Privilege = Administrator in their Role, then they can see changes from all users.  But we don’t want to give Administrator Access to any users.   Is this by design or is there a setting in the Roles that allow this action without setting as Administrator?   I’ve tried to give access through the role but can’t get it to work.

this is running FSM 5.7it seems that the service history for request and tasks is delayed in getting to the mobile platformi already checked the sync rules and it happens as a BATCH ALL at 9 PM every night. Nothing has been touched from the OOTB integration. For example i am looking at a request that was closed 10 days ago yet still doesn't show on the mobile platform. However when i initialize the history is immediately there. How can i fix this so that it shows up at least on the daily sync?

When do you plan to release the Excel-add in data migration tool with Apps10 Aurena Client?

Hi,I’m trying to raise an error to a Background Job.I have a procedure that is called by a background job.I’ll fetch an object, and sometime it doesn’t exist. Normally because the object is deleted by the user before the job has been run.    CURSOR get_Objid IS      select objid from project_transaction WHERE objkey = 'BB8A4E9B030B41DDABB62F8381C9DFFD';    OPEN get_Objid;    FETCH get_Objid      INTO objid_;    CLOSE get_Objid; I would then like to handle the exception and have a custom error message send back to the background job. So I use this one:    IF (objid_ is null) THEN        raise_application_error(-20001,'No value in objid!');    END IF;It works find when running the script in a terminal, but if I run it with a background job I don’t get the error. How can this be done?BR Kresten

In our production process we would like to have a different routing after each 50 units which are produced. This alternate routing should send the produced items to an external control center (outside operations) is there a way to implement the requested process in standard IFS. The lot size will not be higher than 10 pcs at the time. So, the alternate routing should be triggered based on the cumulative units produced.

Hello,I am attempting to create scheduled count reports that display 10 records per report. The issue with this is that most of the rows in every count report are for zero quantity part numbers / locations. Is there a way to exclude the zero quantity records? Thank you,Matt

When trying to update a record using the API for any Custom LU (_CLT table in IFS), we get this error. ERROR: MODIFIED2: The ‘LU Name’ object has been modified by another user. Please refresh the object and reenter your changes. The error is saying that a record can't be updated because it is already being updated, which is not the case. This happens regardless of which table the triggering action is coming from. The update method that is called using the API is 'PackageName'_CLP.Modify__( ). This modify method is auto generated when the Custom LU is made. We have verified that the New__ API call for inserting a record does work correctly for Custom LU tables, but the Modify__ or Remove__ API calls do not.To be clear, we are able to call the API methods to Update, Insert, and Delete records from IFS standard tables, (tables ending in _TAB), as well as custom field tables, (tables ending in _CFT) but we are having this issue with the tables made from Custom Logical Units, (tables ending
