We are having some users experience an issue where FSM is syncing photos from other users to their phone.One case had a user receive over 300 photos. There are no connections to either of these technicians from a person record or task (which is where the attachments are attached to)this has happened to 3 users, that we know of. Has this type of error been reported before?

Good morning,I’ll try to explain my problem best as I can  . I need to import my misc. parts data to a spectific project. My problem here is that I need for exemple my activity code and the person that seize has juste the activity ID. My question is: Can I put any kind of logic that allows me to fill out another cell based on the information seized?Exemple: When I seized my project and my activity ID, the cell acitivity code will be fill out automaticly.Let me know if you need more information Thanks,

Hello, I am attempting to make it easier for Shop Floor users to understand when there is a material shortage on Shop Floor Workbench. Currently, on the materials tab, there is a red exclamation if a certain material is short. Is it possible to use conditional formatting to highlight that row to make the problem more visual? I have not seen a way or column on that tab where it could be setup. I’m assuming there is something that enables that status alert, but I cannot find the column to use for CF. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 

I am trying to setup one of our environments to do some training with the Credit Card Interface. I have the documentation and have the Routing Address setup with the pilot info.   I’ve setup the Credit Card Gateway just like the documentation but I’m getting a “User Authentication Failed” message when I try to use one of the Credit Card numbers in the documentation.  Has anyone else successfully set this up?    We’re currently on Apps10 UPD6

Hi,I’m after a printed report.Once a report (in my case an invoice) has been printed I can find a table with it’s XML, but not the PDF document.What I would like to do, is to create a document of the report once it’s been printet.Is there a standard way to set that up or could it be done with code?

We use New Case Issue for recording customer faults/requests.  We have 1 company providing support to its own employees and the employees of another company we also own. However, when the employees raise a case from the 2nd company (customer), it defaults in the case to the 1st company (customer).  The employees raising the case are only assigned to one company so I had expected the system to know which company to enter based on the employee raising the case.  This is not happening.  Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this?

We are testing the scanning functionality of the Scan It app and noticed that in certain screens it drops the identifying prefix character when scanning and in other screens it does not.  Attached is an example, the numbers circled in RED appear with the prefix in front of the scan.  The item circled in GREEN scans correctly and it gets dropped. For example, Move Inventory Part drops the “Q” prefix when scanning but the screen before that which is Part No it does not drop the “P” Is there a place in IFS where you can set what gets dropped and what doesn’t?  Or do you typically set that on the scanner gun itself?  We are using Honeywell CK65’s

I have noticed that when a mobile user creates Material Demand and issues the part from MWO Service 10, when looking in IEE you see the Maintenance Material Requisition for the work task and the issued qty but MWO Service 10 is not automatically adding a Sales Part to the Requisition line.  The problem this causes is that the Work Task Sales Line has to be manually updated with the Sales Part Number. If I use the same part and create the Maintenance Material Requisition from IEE, IFS automatically adds the sales part number. I did look at the SalePart Entity and in the where clause it is only grabbing sales parts where CATALOG_TYPE_DB = ‘NON’ I am assuming this is only grabbing non-inventory sales parts.  Does this mean the back office will ALWAYS have to add the sales part for mobile inventory issued?

How can I place multiple elements in one green box in Lobby design-mode?This is for visual layout. I noticed this Lobby has it, but can’t figure out in design mode how they did it. I’m not able to drag n drop an element inside the green box. In my lobbies it’s always a one-to-one; each element has its own green box.  

When in Master Part, the user clicks Attachments and a document is displayed in the list.  When the user clicks View and clicks OK the user receives the following message:  You must have View access in order to read this file.  How do I resolve this issue. Thank you. John

Hi, I was hoping someone could help with setting up IFS Connect to send time registration to a 3rd party api. I have created a test custom event where new or changed time registration information is submitted to IFS. My 3rd part company has an API for create time sheet eg https://api.company.com/createtimesheet . So I need to send the API key and respective time-sheet data from IFS. I am just ensure of the routing address/application message setup part. Would appreciate some screen shots of working example if possible

How do I correctly create a Service Quotation for Warranty Work?  I have Customer A in IFS and I have a Service Contract For Customer A with a Free of Charge Contract Service Line.  The Service Line has their equipment objects in scope and those objects have a Supplier Warranty.  Since this will be  Supplier Warranty WO, IFS will bill my Supplier as the customer on my WO.   Should my service quotation be created to my Suppler/Customer or to my end Customer A? How do I get this logic to be represented correctly in IFS?  In the Service Quotation I see a spot for Service Quotation but I am unable to enter data in that field on the Work Order Tab of the Quotation.  The only way I seen how to populate this field was preparing the WO and then creating a Service Contract connected to it.

Hello,We are in the process of implementing Apps10 and working on the Health and Safety module, specifically Incidents.We would like to use this as our Near Miss and Accident reporting tool, but need to restrict access for users to only allow their entries + adding new. However, due to privacy reasons, cannot display other persons information that may have been injured in an accident (coordinator, reported by, etc.).IFS default a user can see all entries for their respective company. Thanks,Jeff Nattermann

Hello,we are looking into upgrading to IFS10 (current version IFS8) .i have a very basic question: i cannot find the ‘Print Transport task’ option in the Right Mouse Button of IFS10, i read the documentation, looks like it should be under the Right Mouse Button Menu. Can anyone point me to the right direction, if it is moved from right mouse menu...IFS10: IFS8: the option is greyed out but it is there... Thanks
