Hi All, Is it possible to customize a report in a more beautiful “manner”, different then the Ad Hoc Reports or the standard UI that is used OOTB? Could this be done in a simple way ? Or potentially requires a project with .NET Framework and in this case is it possible to upload it to the FSM? Best Regards,Frederico Mendes

We have a quick report where we’d like to add 2 business days (exclude the weekends) to the CustomerOrder DateEntered.We usually do this but this includes weekends- is there a date function that skips Saturday and Sunday?I’m familiar with work_time_calendar_api.get_work_days_between() but don’t see how that can do the above.

Hi,Is anybody using conditional codes for serial tracked items? I am wondering why if I change condition code from the one that does not have Availability Control ID to one that has it – system assigns that Availability control, but if I do it opposite way – from the one that has AC ID to the one that does not have it, system does not remove the AC ID? We are running APPS9 with Oracle 12c standard edition.about & months ago we moved away from Auto memory Management and set max values for memory on our Oracle Environment.We have 128 G set aside for our VM oracle Db with 3 prod instances, each of which are allocated 28G each.I’ve been seeing 1 of the instances use up to 27G while the others bounce between 20-24G.What are the advantages, disadvantages of using Oracle AMM and why would you want to limit RAM to an oracle instance when not using AMM? Thank you,Marjie   

Hi, When using Order Report in IFS, an Information Message appears with the text: Attempting update for read-only data source. This message appears five times, so I need to click five times on OK before I can order a repport. Does anyone know what the trigger for this message is and how I can resolve this?  Kind regards,Simon

This customer has a requirement to update a string field with the value “NULL” via inbound integration (CSV Flat Integration).As an example, the requirement is to send a file like the below and get it applied to the database.When such a file is sent, the system identifies the word “NULL” as a keyword and sets the particular field empty without taking the string value NULL.Technically, the application identifies NULL as a keyword and applies the general behavior. At the same time, the customer’s required behavior can be gained from the application. The value “NULL” can be set to a field from the Smart Client.The application identifies NULL as a string and stores it in the database. The customer would like to know how the string “NULL” can be applied to the database via the integration as well. Appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on this.

Quick customer question… is there any way we can make the path to a folder dynamic in IFS? Ultimately we want to use an user’s folder instead of C:\temp for the below as this is a security concern. (I.e. C:\Users\$USERNAME$\AppData\IFS\Temp) 

Hi,  Is it possible to pass the data for more than one custom field belongs to a different CFV. Example : We have one custom field on PART_CATALOG and another on INVENTORY_PART. How can we create a migration job so that both Custom fields get updated in a single job by passing the different execution sequence.  ThanksL P Reddy  

We have 3 guys on a compressed schedule, Wednesday has no time clocking until the Thursday clocking occurs.  When they clock in on Thursday, it's putting that clocking on Wednesday with a Thursday date, and then giving an error of "already clocked in" because there is no clock out for Wednesday. What are we missing in the setup of their work schedule to prevent this issue from occurring? 

Hi,We currently have an issue with one of our FTP servers that we use for DOCMAN so I moved all repositories to the other FTP server we use..I’ve moved all the existing files to the new FTP and created new repository, but now we still can’t view the existing documents so I’m assuming IFS is still looking at the ‘old’ location. Do I need to run the ‘Change Document Repository’ utility so IFS will look at the new location? Thanks,Mick.

HiI struggle to mark several lines in aurena and export them. Right now i have a button select all or select one line by line. Can I somehow mark a line, scroll down and mark a line again and all lines between are marked?In IEE i was able to mark the boarder and pull down the mouse to marke several lines. how do i do this in Aurena

Greetings,I know that Form Mapping will be used to display Lobby Element on the certain (associated form).However, there is no documentation available to explain how we can create Lobby Element and associate the Lobby Element to Mapped to Forms. I came conclusion that the Mapped to Forms are only possible for the Lobby Elements that were created by RnD only. Am I correct?Hopefully IFS R&D / IFS Employee would give a comment on this subject since this question has been posted 1 year ago and until today there is no response from IFS. Thank you in advanced for your answers./Bobby 

Is it possibly to set up the MRP Run/Action proposals to differentiate between demand from parts on a Work Order and from parts below safety stock?The reason why I am asking is that after I added components to the Work Order (Materials Tab) and ran the MRP, they Purchase Requisition shows up with MRP as Requisitioner (ideally I would like to have the work order number on this field to make it easier for tracking stock replenisment orders and  orders against a W.O.)I know that if parts are added directly on the Work Order/ Requisitions tab, this information is carried accross and the Purchase Requisition is flagged with Requisitioner as WO, but I am trying to get this same function through the Work Order/ Materials tab.

Good Afternoon, I was wondering if it was possible to be able to pull multiple sites from the lobby filter, i have a inventory elelement and right now i can filter one site at a time, and it loads into my element correctly, was wondering if there was a way to be able to add multiple site codes and have all those load into the elemenet.This is something i am just testing so i dont have to have multiple lobbies for each individual. if its not possible it is not a big deal. Hello,We are implementing Apps10, Version 10, Enterprise Explorer.When attempting to print a pick list from Shop Floor Workbench, we keep getting an error. We can print from Shop Order successfully. The steps we follow to print from each are below. Any guidance is appreciated. From Shop Order (successful):RMB (in header)> Material Actions> Reserve (reserve window pop-up) Create Pick List box is checked (new window-shop order pick list options)  Pick list per: Order No Print Pick List checked OK Print window pops up successfully Shop Order History shows pick list created. good afternoon, I hope you are wellI have a problem, previously I had excel migration installed on a server with a URL, I changed the server and the URL and it no longer allows me to install excel migration, I already did the uninstallation from adding or removing programs and also from the office 2016 add-ons but I keep marking the error.Has someone been able to solve this problem or has something similar happened? Windows7IFS 10http://imgfz.com/i/wa0FThQ.png 

I have created PERSON_ID field in data source and tried to use that in Web Url in element After I select the element in lobby page it’s passing null value for the parameter. How can I fix this issue or is there any method to use global parameters(‘#PERSON_ID#’) in the url?

Hi, One of our customers is trying to pick inventory in FSM and send the pick list report automatically to Printer. Default printer is setup in APP Param and they are getting below error in Run Log. PrintReportManager.GetPrinterProperties: ManagementException Printer Status.  Exception Message - Not found Any idea is highly appreciated.  Thanks,Dananjaya
