Hi All, I’m not sure exactly how to word this, but I’m hoping someone can help.I have a finished good part that I’ve set to have a safety stock. MRP is kicking out shop order requisitions, but I would like to have the requisitions automatically released to shop orders instead. The part isn’t Master Scheduled. I’ve tried a few settings on the Inventory Part with no luck. Does anyone have any advise on how I could accomplish this?

Does anyone know how to genereate a file with SAF-T format in IFS apps 9? Does anyone have an instruction for set up to share?  (SAF-T Financial is a standard format used in the exchange of accounting data. Hi,Something as a business we have wanted to do for a long time is build a fresh data set for our technicians along the line of a knowledge base. I believe in FSM that Solutions would be the place to start build this information. Looking at the table structure, I can build a solution for a particular model, product family and name and do the content that bit is pretty straight-forward.After that is there a specific business rule that would then link a request when created to a solution, or would that be a custom business rule?  I would then assume once the Request is linked to a solution this would be need to be synchronised to the tablet for the technician to view and also add comments. Any guidance, experience etc. using Solutions would be greatly appreciated. RegardsAdy

When a Distribution order is created and released, the Customer Order is created in SITE A and the Customer Order Line default’s to a supply code of Inventory Order.  Even though the Sales Part in Site A has a default supply option of Shop Order.  Is there a way for a CO Line connected to a DO to have a supply code of Shop Order without using a some sort of Custom Event?

Hi ExpertsIs it possible to set PR authorization based on Total PR amount. One of our client doesn’t want authorization to be req. line-wise. Same is required in PO authorization as well.Is there any possibility to fulfill this requirement in IFS 10. Regards

Hi guys,My colleages have entered a longer text, which is shown on several lines in the customer order line document text.But on customer order confirmation it shows like one string.I have tried to use thisvldtstr:strReplaceAll(tns:ORDER_LINE_NOTES,'~#CR;','<br/>')but it does not work, ^p neither...Who can help?Any proposal is appreciated.Regards Martina

Create a Customer Order for 100 unit. Release. Reserve 50 units. Create Picklist for reserved quantity. Shipment will be created. Do the Report picking of 50 units. From Shipment Window header => RMB => Print shipment delivery note. Delivery note will be created. It says 100 Delivered and seems misleading.

quick context:  we have FSM & NAV integrated within each other. Somehow, our the sequence of contacts stopped matching the last sequence in FSM is 55912 and NAV is 52614. So when NAV is making a contact that clashes with FSM, its overwriting tons of information, including place records. Anyways, is there a way to change where the series continues from? can i have it jump up to 60,000 for example on the next entry? right now when i click new it goes to 52767 (which is 3000 less than the last record)

Good morning, I wonder if you can refresh my memory on the following: I have created a custom menu on the Sales Quotation Line and Sales Quotation Lines so that the user can RMB and Approve Sales Quotation Lines, ( note:  this updates 3 custom fields user_id, date_approved and approved_yn).  (PL/SQL Code) My question is how can I grant this RMB to a select group of users? Many Thanks John 

Hi all,We have a program that takes a single file as input (E.g. dxf). Doing execution it creates some additional files in the same directory.When we attach the files, we can drag them into IFS and it looks like this.The problems is to edit the files again. The program execute on the cur-file, but needs the other 3 files.How can we edit the cur file and download the 3 other files in the process?

We would like a warning message to appear, when a user attempts to set a work order to status ‘Finished’ but they have not ticked a custom check box that we have set up. Can anyone point me in the right direction to set something like this up?

Unfortunately, custom objects > Grant didn’t provide the answer. The custom menu is on the Sales Quotation Line but I cannot see to locate the area to revoke/grant this option.  I only want a selection of employees to have access to this. Please advise.

Hi all, I made a Quick Report, which works fine when I view the report in IFS. Hi all,As i said i created a matrix lobby. But i see numbers without comma seperator at the element designer. So i tried to use to_char(value,’999,999,999,999’) format and that was success at the data source designer. But when i turn the element designer that changes has not processed and comma seperator doesnt work at element designer for some reasons.Any usefull idea about this?Best Regards.with seperator at data source without seperator at element designer 

In our supply chain process, we would like to skip the requisitions. If we have a demand and we run MRP the MRP run should create a planned purchase order or planned shop order instead of a purchase/ shop order requisition. I have tried to change settings on the inventory part by changing the default supply type to order, but this has no result. Am I doing something wrong? And is it possible to skip the requisitions in the process?   

hi all,we use IFS 10 and want to put a prefix on new created employees in a specific company.  IFS does automatic numbering, but is that configurable with a prefix (per company) ?

HelloDoes anyone track their Global Location Number in IFS?    I can’t seem to find a place /field for tracking this so just wondering if others are requiring this as well and perhaps I’m just missing it?     Are old ERP system had a form dedicated to its input so find it strange I can’t locate a field for this in IFS under Company or Site . Thank you
