Dzień dobry.Jak w tytule.Klikam w Enterprise Explorer…   i nic się nie dzieje. Także bezpośrednio odpalana “Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application” nie działa.Stało się tak się tak po zawieszeniu komputera w trakcie pracy IFS i zimnym restarcie . Do momentu zawieszenia wszystko było OK. Może trzeba coś wykasować albo w rejestrze coś się “zatrzasnęło”? Bo o ile wiem to instalki w tej wersji niema?Pozdrawiam;Leonard

When I am login to the account, the below error is giving. If that user has the app-owner permission, then the user can avoid that problem. But the error is giving for the other permission sets.  

This regards the IFS Business Reporter add-in for Excel, specifically Excel in Office 2016, 64-bit. There is one specific BR report we run which I’m having these difficulties with, doesn’t seem to occur with any other report and, strangely enough, running this same report works when done on different computers. The error we’re having occurs when trying to “Run Report” once IFS is loaded. We pick the standard parameter values, press OK, then in the Report Execution Progress window, it seems to go through everything (goes through steps 1 - 3 , fetches data) then it crashes Excel, Excel restarts, and it opens to a blank worksheet. I’ve checked the event logs and found the following pop-up at about the same time it crashes, so this should correlate: Event Log Error #1Event Log Error #2I’ve tried many things, like running .net repairs and running as admin. I’ve officially run out of ideas, so I’ve come here, hoping I can be pointed in the right direction if not have the problem solved entir

I’ve a very simple base flow that is also our master flow which contains our current forecast.  I want to take the SKU-level forecasts from the base flow and transfer it to a combined flow that consists of customers demand history effectively allowing forecasting by customer.  I’m using Apps9 and DP Client 4.0.2.22. Using distribute adjustment on a top level does not carry over the seasonal models per product and it doesn’t seem to bring over the sku-level forecast either.  The parameters i’m using are: target: forecast (in the new combined flow) distribution: based on forecast distribute by: part # distribute from: current base flow What am I missing? Is there a way to pull over the aggregate forecast with out doing it per sku? I realize that the granular customer level forecast may render odd but I’m less concerned with that to begin with so long as the aggregate per SKU rolls up to the currently existing forecast.

Hi, Does ‘Planning Alerts - Shop Order’ need to be configured (if so, how) before this page is useful?   I’ve done partial testing by selecting ‘Approve Planning Alert’ for what is deemed as ‘Alert - High’. No changes  occurred to the orders/parts question. At least, not according to the history of said orders.   I’m not sure what to expect with this page, i.e. is this anything like actioning exception messages in other MRP vendors? What is the scope of these alerts?    many thanks, Jay

How could I change time type automatically on a work task  time report based on time of day? I have a service work order with service contact. Customer says you can visit the site M-F 8-4. Anything outside those hours we can bill overtime.  Ideas how i can do that in apps 10?  I know about scheduling preference and scheduling availability but nothing that translates availability into pricing markups. AKA coverage time. 

Hi all,Apps10 has this nice new feature called ‘operation block’ for splitting reported time between multiple shop orders. But it does not seem to be working on the materials. Hence, how do we issue material the same way to multiple shop orders (and unissue afterwards)? 

All application messages are pending in transaction state. No messages could be completed and notifications are not being sent. How can I fix this situation?Also, some background jobs are not completed.

Hi,I want to do data masking on user role. We researched Data Redaction, but we use oracle standart edition. I tried editing the views(customer_order_line_tab). I know it’s a very wrong way. I have created some saved searches and saved them within a new folder.  How can I share these so that other users can access?

We faced an issue when receiving e-mails recently. Our dealers send emails to our general email address which is configured in mail reader. Mail reader was setup to POP3 mail protocol and TLS as the security protocol. The issue is some emails are received and some emails are not received. Since some emails are received, it’s hard to say configuration issue. Has anyone faced similar issue recently? Any suggestions?

Hi,We are facing to weird display issues in PSO 6u5 about the activities.In the Ressources screen, in activities pane, they dont want to be displayed. And some buttons issue occur, they are not displayed correctly (no label) for example. Schedule Assistance screen have the same issue.so we can not operate with activities...  Dataset is provided by Apps10 u9.Thanks,Sébastien.

I would like to create a custom event on the Order Quotation that triggers when the user attempts to release the quotation.Condition for the Event Action:  NEW:ROWSTATE = Released I have created a custom field on the Order Quotation that is a calculation to display the margin percentage. On clicking Release the event needs to check to see if this field is below a certain number.  If it is below the defined number then a message needs to pop up informing the user that they cannot release the order due to the margin percentage being too low. I have tried creating a custom attribute on the custom event that uses an api call to retrieve the custom field value:ifsapp.order_quotation_cfp.get_cf$_margin_percent(&NEW:QUOTATION_NO) And in the Event Action tried something like:BEGINIF '&MARGIN_PERCENT' < '30' THEN                Error_SYS.Record_General('OrderQuotation', 'CHECKMARGIN: *ERR* The Sales Quotation Margin % is less than 40%.' );END IF;END; However, I keep receiving:table I

I am trying to add a custom filed in Aurena - IFS10 UPD9 on Customer Order Lines, it is published in IEE, when i pick entity ‘CustomerOrderLine’ in Aurena, i can’t seems to find my added custom filed in the Lines Table, as shown in screenshot.. it is saved but not published. It should appear where i highlight in the Lines List table, as per my knowledge.I made sure the Visible property of the new filed is checked. 

Hello Everyone,  I have been working with the IFS software for the past 7 years and our team does a lot of data entry manually. E.g. 5 users 100 lines per Customer order and with a minimum of 5 orders a day. Consultants have asked us why we are not using the IFS Excel Add-in (Also called the Excel migration Tool). Which is a excellent question which imitatively raised major concerns from IT due to the tool being called a migration and accessing IFS directly from Excel (read/write/delete?) . I was wondering if any users in this forum have some stories on how it helped their company and what some of the downsides of the tool are. Successfully implementations To which extend is the Excel Migration tool being used (simple/complex jobs/ Data repair?) Restrictions of the tool Security concerns (e.g.can users destroy the tables of the database using this tool) IFS User feedback (greatly increased process and or productivity or used as a last resort due to time crunch)  Looking forward to the

Hi Everyone, We’ve recently upgraded to IFS Application 10 Update 8.  I was asked today to create a Business Report that generated the results in a pivot table format.  In IFS Application 8 with Business Analytics there was a button where I could choose a pivot table but I do not see this option in Business Reporter included in IFS Application 10 Update 8. Has the feature been removed?If so how do we generate a pivot table output using Business Reporter. Thank you,William Klotz
