Hi Everybody,   Do you think it is possible to get the current user person_id and set this value into a data constraint  (FSM 6.4 Customer portal)?   I’ve tried different values like current_user, user_id, person.person_id instead of portal_places.   Thanks for your help!  

How do you set up the mobile platform to show pricing based on part pricing rules? we want our users to be able to see what special discount a customer gets while on site instead of having to reach out to the office to check

I’d like to format a column heading with all caps as it is an acronym COGS, but haven’t figured out how to do it; it seems IFS always translates it to camel case. The closest I got was with a space between each char, but I’d like it to be w/o spaces.      

We have a Lobby Element that summarizes orders by status for 4 date periods. Now we want drill-down capabilities so when they click on any of the Status rows they see the detail behind it- Order#, Status, Date, Quantity, Price.   I couldn’t find any documentation on this- does some exist? I didn’t see an Element that has this; Link looks like it just drills down into a screen, not a report. Would it/could it drill down into the Customer Order screen with parms to restrict results?

Just looking for any “left of centre” ideas or suggestions, please…   We have demand for the same purchased part (same site) from  Projects Projects with purchase req authorisation Customer Orders Shop Orders Material reqs We run PMRP and MRP which generates the necessary reqs but we’re unable to consolidate the supply onto a single Purchase Order.  You can mix Projects and non-project demand onto a single PO but once the req is a project one that needs purchase authorisation you can’t mix with any other POs…   Any ideas gratefully received..   Thanks  

Hi can anyone tell me , for real time sync it is necessary to initialize the device   because before i initialize the data is not reflected   in mobile but after  the internalization i get the value. i have taken the person table. person table is a real time syn , where any changes in the person will /should update automatically  . but i am not getting the changes real time.  

Hello,  I am attempting to globally disable the Receive into Inventory checkbox on the last operation step in Shop Floor Workbench. I have looked through site settings and Basic Data, but I cannot find a location where this can be controlled. Is it possible to turn this off? Thank you.  

Perhaps I missed this, but I cannot see how to add a subscription to an object in Aurena.   Can anyone provide any help on this? Thanks!  

  We have created dummy location called “Damaged” in one site and moved some damaged stock to that location and user doesn’t want to show that quantity as available stock in customer order. Can you advice how to achieve this ? 

Is it possible to modify what the buttons do on Shop Floor Workbench? Or Add buttons? For example, we would like to change what the Report Tool button does.  Instead of opening a Report, we’d like it to open the Create Fault Report Window.   If that is not possible, could we add a custom button and name it Create Fault Report and have it link to the Create Fault Report window?

Has anyone experience of adding Custom Fields to the DELIVERY_NOTE_REP in Report Designer? I’m struggling to find a presentation object/view that I can use

Hi - this community has been so helpful!  Here’s one more question: IFS Report Generator question.  A report is ordered and selected and then the various fields are populated according to needs.  As you can see in screen shot below - a template has been selected from dropdown/LOV.  I want to change this selected template to public from private.  Where do I find this template?  I’ve checking all the template views, reporting templates, etc.  I even used TOAD to view the IFS views and tables - no luck!  Compounding this - the owner of this template is no longer with company.  I did activate the user profile as well.  Any advice much appreciated.  Thanks!

Does anyone know where can we change the configuration fields below directly on the database (Oracle)? We need to setup our database copy script so we don’t need to reconfigure it every time we restore a database in another environment (what we do a lot).    

I have a user that never receives the numerical notification in his Streams when he is sent something. If he clicks on the Streams button, he does see the task/notice, however there is not red alert to indicate it is there. He appears to be the only user this is happening to, and I do not see anywhere in Streams that there is a config to turn the notice on or off. Any help or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

On the place screen, we have a “quick part price” button Using this will show you the list price of the part but nothing more. We have many part pricing rules in effect for specific customers but those numbers are only visible when adding the part to a part need. is there anyway to make this function work to look at those pricing rules? Doesnt look like it looks at the unit cost from the rule either.

Hi, Due to summer holiday in the company, we have created the Schedule Exception with “day type” weekend for the period of time( two weeks ) in July 2020, as an example see  below for the 13-07-2020. However, we will still like to be able to create PO’s and recieve PO’s. Since our department for goods recieve is not closed. Does anybody have experience with that scenario ? What to do ? We’ve created a new context/scope in Aurena and want to roll it out to users. The only way I can find to do that is by default company. We have several business units and would like some users to see one style screen, and other users to see a different one. They are all users with the same default company. Is there any other way to do this other than company?      

When entering text fields (like Part numbers) using the numeric keypad, the dot is shown as a comma. The regional and keyboard settings in Windows are set to keyboard layout en-US, which in every other application results in a dot.  Changing regional settings or numeric format in the IFS options gives no result.  Is there a way to influence the behavior of this?
