Hi,We have a problem with disk space on our middleware server and i have tracked it down to the following filesThese are being created at midnight every night and are currently 17gb in size eachI have a few questions:What are these files doing\storing? How can i amend or restrict their size? Is it safe to just delete them? This has only just started recently within the last 2 weeks, i cant think of any changes we have made apart from upgrade Oracle to 19c.

Hi All, We are experiencing a significant lag when processing accounts payable invoices. The issue is occurring when you RMB and select Posting Proposal. This step used to process very quickly, now it’s taking upwards of 6-10 minutes per invoice. Has anyone experienced this and was able to figure out why it was happening. It seems to be a database issue and we had our IT run a workaround supplied by IFS overnight and it didn’t work. Any help would be appreciated, this is really setting us back in processing invoices!! Thanks,Mike

We have need to calculate the number of hours between 2 dates, minus weekends. We’re using the OrderHistory tab’s rows.I have it working for just the number of days between 2 dates, and then did it for the number of hours (I simply removed TRUNC() around the 2 dates).But that included weekends and now the team wants just business days. Hello, I have noticed an issue with existing Sales Parts and I am unsure of the correct way to apply a % increase to the price. Initially, I assumed I could use the contribution margin on a Sales Quotation to accomplish this, however, if the part is existing in your system, that is calculated automatically. The scenario below outlines the issue I am facing:Existing part number XYZ has a Cost of $4.55 and a Price of $18.35 The system calculated Contribution Margin rate is 75.17% The customer has contacted us and stated they want 255 XYZ parts expedited and they would like to see a quote for this. We would like to add 20% to the price of the part for the expediting.  Our Sales team created a quote and modified the contribution margin. They changed it to 20%, which dramatically lowered the price.Modifying the CM does not appear to be the correct method to markup a price of an existing part in this instance.Is there a function in IFS that would accommodate this scenario? Hi, We have had a number of invoices created in the last couple of months with the incorrect due date, this was due to the reduced number of days in Feb skewing the system calculation which has now been fixed. Would it be possible to do a mass change of due dates of invoices in question. I have ran a debug whilst testing the due date amendment and found as expected that this can only be done when the Invoice is in ‘Preliminary’ status.  Most/if not all of the invoices are in ‘PostedAuth’ status. I am thinking that we could possibly achieve this using RMB > Customer Instalment Plan and DiscountsABSTRACT_PAYMENT_PLAN_API.MODIFY__ Would this work? John

Is there any way to show Yes/No dialog box in a custom event and perform operation based on user’s response?

Hi, We have users who can’t login to the application because they are getting the error message:“IFS account is already logged in by EXAMPLEDOMAIN\RANDOM.USERNAME. Contact your system administrator!.” But we can’t find their session against the database by looking at Solution Manager - Monitoring - Database Sessions.And we have also tried to query the views:fnd_session_runtimev$sessiongv$session They have tried to restart their machines and it still happens from another machine too. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I’ve created an element for purchase requisition lines awaiting approval and it displays the lines correctly the user needs to authorize.  In Aurena I have it working where you can click on the line and open the purchase requisition screen but I’m running into difficulty with clicking on one of the lines and opening the IEE Purchase Requisition screen so they can look at the entire requisition.  Any guidance would be appreciated. Reqards,William Klotz

Hi,If the Shop Order has a Weighted Average component, you can’t Cancel it even after revers all the transactions and perform Transfer Inventory Transactions. Feels like the correct functionality due to revaluations happening with Weighted Average components each time when cost is changed.But would like to know the real logic behind this.Cheers,Aan

The IRS has added an new tax form 1099-NEC.  We need to get this new form and understand how to set up IFS to get supplier income to report on the correct for and in the correct box.  Current functionality only allows for one 1099-Misc form. Going forward we will need 2 forms, 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. Has anyone us run into this yet? This would be for Apps 9 and Apps 10 as we are planning to finish our upgrade soon.

Now we found the following problem in Document Management - Approval Routing.An Approval Step assigned to a user who is not yet in the access schema of the DocIssue. Now he is automatically added by IFS with view rights in the access schema. If this user now wants to approve his step, the message appears that he is not authorized to approve. I have to give the user admin rights so that he can approve the step.In the Solution Manager the security checkpoints for the approvals are activated. However, they are not selected for DocApprovals.In IFS7.5 the approval could be done with view rights without any problems.Have any of you had the same or a similar experience and what can be done against it?Where can this be configured / set?Thanks for your supportPeter

Dear All,IEE Version: IFS Application Version 10 Update 7I am looking for a functionality on work assignment to track time in two below scenarios. My customer is from service management background:Customer personnal (employees) are working in morning shift (6AM to 6 PM) and night shift (6PM to 6 AM) with 12 hours duration each. When work task duration is for more than a day multiple work assignments get created based on HR Schedules. We have status - assigned, accepted, start travel (onroute), waiting at location, work started, pauses and work completion for work assignments currently in standard application. Customer wants to track additional statuses for handover of work between the shift personals at the end of shift and want to track the status for travel back on the work assignments. Is there a way to do that ? For morning shift personal if the work is scheduled to start at 6 AM at customer’s client location then he will start planning work at say 4 AM (planning for necessary tool

Hi,It did a few months since I am in IFS world. We are working with a third-party company to put in place a transaction site, all transactions must enter to IFS, and one problem we are having is that we need to create the customer in IFS once the transaction finalized. I found all documentation and I didn’t find any BizAPI to create customers. Does anyone know how to do this? I try to find documentation explain how to create a webservice on IFS but I didn’t find it.Thanks,

HelloOur company has the practice of creating a group email to use in the Custom Event type email to send email to multiple users at once.I tried and successfully send email to two users separated by comma.Question is 1- how many email id’s can we use  separated by commas in this case. We have a situation where a customer was cash in advance but they are now being granted terms. We entered in a couple of orders and created and posted Advanced Invoices, we cannot release the orders now due to the advanced invoices. Is there a way to cancel advanced invoices?
