Hi, Does anybody know how to change the password of IFSAPP? When I try to do this the ‘normal’ way, the following Error Message pops-up: IFS Application Owner can not be changed using this method.    

Hi, We’re having a lot of issues with profiles in our environment.  We’re currently in IFS Apps 10, Upd. 4.  We have our Dev upgraded to Upd 7, and have been testing, but are unsure if the following issue has been fixed yet.   We have an environment that consists of around 180 active users, and around 1-2x per week, I receive a ticket like this: I started keeping a log, and as you can see it’s not super consistent, but there are some paterns:     In order to fix the issue, I just go into their personal profile and delete the settings for the page they’re receiving the error on. For example, for “Nic G”, I opened his personal profile, deleted “tbwExpenseHead”, and the problem was resolved.  The reason this works, is because the custom field seemingly randomly hides itself, and deleting the personal profile settings for that page makes the base profile settings take effect for the page.  At first we thought maybe it was caused from IFS crashing (another issue we are dealing with frequent

We’re using Apps 8 Personnel Requisitions for management to notify HR of recruitment requirements.  They raise the requisitions themselves but this area of the system does not appear to provide the same security as other areas within HR.  By this, I mean that we would have expected a requisitioner to only be able to see their own or their team’s requisitions.  Currently, they appear to be able to see everything.  Is there a way of applying positional type controls to control access to this area of the system?

Can the report Received – Not Yet Invoiced  contain zero value (cancelled) lines from a PO? We obtain the report periodically, the strangest thing was these lines were not in the previous report, but in the latest report we have them! 

We are feeling our way around Aurena.  This is currently Apps 10 UPD 9.  When I am in the Page Designer mode my Page Configuration appears fine:However when I leave the page designer I get this: I have tried unpublishing , publishing, signing off after each change I made and I cant seem to shake this issue.  I have granted the projection to a role that I am a part of as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

We see mass updates happening all day for 1 record at a time. Based on the user i can have a guess at what its updating but is there anyway to verify exactly what it updated? i looked up the run log ID in the server logs without any results. tried to pinpoint the time in the log but that didnt show me much either.  

In shop order operations, it seems that the Overlap functionality does not work correctly. While CBS and APB are not used, and Infinite scheduling is used, see the below example,Calendar configuration has 5 working days (Mon-Fri) 8 AM to 12 PM and 1PM to  5 PM (8 hour day).Work center utilization - 100 %, all operations efficiency - 100%, Resource capacity of the WC - 100Operation 10 has 24 Machine Run Time (unit - Hours) and no set up timeOperation 15 has 12 Machine Run Time (unit - Hours) and no set up time and have a Overlap of 50 percentSame work center for both operation.As I understand, the start date/time of the second operation should be 12 hours (50% of 24 hours) after starting of the first operation, which should be 1/25/2021 1.00 PM. I’m looking into creating permission sets for Aurnea Users, but am unsure of what has to be done in IFS Enterprise Explorer, or what has to be done through Aurnea only, and if there is any overlap in functionality. I’m looking for a general understating of what is Aurena specific, IFS EE specific, and what actions in regards to permission sets apply to both client types. I have outlined some of my questions below: Is the permission setting of Projections and pages for Aurnea done strictly in Aurnea, or is there some aspect of it that needs to be done in IFS EE. Can I setup permission sets for Aurnea only users without using IFS EE? If not what has to be done in IFS EE?If I allow a user Full access to an Aurnea Projection/page (through a permission set) does it permit the same access to the Enterprise Explorer page? (ex: Change Orders in Aurnea, and in EE).Is there some way to grant universal CRUD access for users to both Aurnea and EE at the database level? ex. Allowing a user to delet

Hello.I have created a new permission set and am modifying the ‘Entity Action Grants’ through the Projection Grants window for the ChangeRequestHandling Projection I have added to my permission set. (See image below). I am trying to restrict certain CRUD functionality for a specific entity (EcoRequest). I want to allow Update, but disallow Create and Delete functionality. Is there a way to currently do this in Aurena, or even in Enterprise Explorer? All I seem to be able to do is grant the full CRUD available. I’m using IFS version 10 Update 10. Any help with this would be appreciated. 

Hi All,We are testing in Aurena and finding that we are getting errors on basic functions. For example, when I use the navigator to navigate to Business Opportunity I instantly get an error. Here is the error we are seeing with the code below. Any help would be appreciated! Hi All,   Can anyone explain here that is difference in table structure between Aurna and IEE (ifs10) or not.    Means table columns, data type is same in IFS IEE and Aurena.  Example:-   view  customer_order  =  Aurena = IEE (IFS 10).Can we migrate data into Aurena based on IFS 10 IEE templates.Kindly let me know in details. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Is there a way to adjust the delivery date of the postings of goods which you deliver through a shipment? For example: goods are delivered on the 10th of december in 2020 in reality, but in IFS the goods are delivered through the shipment on 19 januari 2021. The inventory transaction which IFS automatically generates when delivering the goods, has an applied date of 19 januari 2021. So IFS considers the goods between the inventory receipt date and the shipment date as inventory. Because of the year-end closing, I aggregated the inventory transactions in the menu Inventory Value per Period. My IFS inventory value is not in line with the real value on 31-12-2020 because of transactions in the example above. I know you can alter the receipt date of goods, with the result that the postings are posted in the right period. But is there a similair way to do this with delivering goods through a shipment?  Kind regards, Simon   

HelloI want to get the right holiday wage code in the time card result tab based on the normal working hours that are in an employee std. schedule.So I set up a Public holiday compensation schedule with a calculated result based on the std. wage code that day.When I look in the schedule of that day I can see that the PHC day type is filled in according to the holiday schedule.The problem is that according to the online help the code should appear in the result tab but it doesn’t appear… Kind regardsDavid

Hi All, I’m not sure exactly how to word this, but I’m hoping someone can help.I have a finished good part that I’ve set to have a safety stock. MRP is kicking out shop order requisitions, but I would like to have the requisitions automatically released to shop orders instead. The part isn’t Master Scheduled. I’ve tried a few settings on the Inventory Part with no luck. Does anyone have any advise on how I could accomplish this?
