Hello We have a problem with or our clocking devices and group accounts showing as supervisors in Employee File. All the mentioned accounts have Access in Graphical Organizational Structure and their Supervisor Type is “Person” is there a settings in IFS that we could define that only Supervisor Type “Employee” could be considered Supervisor in Employee File?   

Hi, I'm preparing a warehouse demo for customer on APP10 UPD10.Inside the demo, I will set the "Stardard Putaway Qty" to 3.And set the PO Receive Qty to 5.So, I think when I perform put-away,IFS will cut it to two trasnport task1st: qty-32nd: qty-2While, it is still only one transport task.Is there anything I missing?(I already set the storage zone for the inventory parts.)  

Hello, Are you able to disconnect a PO from one activity and connect it to another activity within a project? We would close the PO and create a new one but the PO has already been sent to the supplier. 

We have an issue where we have printed a lot of Customer invoices that should have been emailed ( The PDF created event was not enabled)is there a way I can do this en masse? I have around 800 that need to go :(

Hi,Can someone tell me how I can change the currency rates for the part cost.At this moment the part cost is calculated based on the current rate but I want to calculate it on a standard rate which is fixed for one year. Thank you. 

As I see creating the lobby elements there is possibility to choose negative ranges in mentioned element. But it is not possible to view the value if it is negative. Am I doing something wrong? Or it is standard behaviour of IFS Lobby functionality?

Our company would like to be able to open IFS Enterprise Explorer  links to documents or other objects,  (purchase Reqs, etc)  when the default windows browser is the new version of Microsoft Edge.  This is Version 83.0.478.61 (Official build) (64-bit).   We are running IFS10  update 6.    If IFS is currently open, the links work properly but if IFS is not open, then the link starts IFS and after logging in  takes you to the start page only. With the Chrome browser, we had to install the IFS chrome extension to get these links to work properly,   after installing that extension when IFS Chrome is the default browser the links work all the time.    Is there a similar extension for Edge?    Anyone else run into this issue and come up with  a fix for it?

Hi,We are having an issue when printing customer invoices.Here are the steps:Go to customer invoice screen. RMB Header → Reprint Modified Select Invoice Original and click ok. ​​​For ouput: select send email and enter address. Click OK.When this is completed, it send the invoice to the email address that you entered. The subject of that email is “PDF file for invoice report for result key xxxxxx is ready.” with a pdf attachement of the invoice. It also fires off PDF_REPORT_CREATED and sends a copy of the invoice to the customer contact. Is there a way to stop PDF_REPORT_CREATED from firing? We just installed UPD9, I think this may be related to that. I don’t believe this was happening before. Thanks for your help,Mike  

Hi All, I frequently manually run Generate Inventory Part Availability Exceptions throughout the day. It typically took about 2 minutes to run the process as a background job. Recently we patched Oracle and the process has increased to 8+ minutes. Has anyone run into this issue and is there a fix or setting that we’ve overlooked? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How to handle the following warning when you set account to “currency balance” = yes when this account already has postings:“Account xxx already has balances in internal/general ledger. Manual adjustement might be necessary in order to get the currency balances to correspond to the accounting /parallel currency balances. Do you want to continue?” How to make the required “manual adjustements” in order th have this account properly revaluated ? 

Hello,I created a new JAVA transformer in APPS8. When I try to compile it(without any changes), it throws an error saying some JAR files(Dependencies) are missing. As per E-Learning, I provided added below information in generated-pom.xml to download the dependencies JAR files but Developer studio says “Unknown host gbglcrd10 ”. Please let me know if the URL to download dependencies has been changed. In Apps8 environment trying to run a report for an annual audit to show all financial transactions from Oct to Dec 2020. The report path is Operational Reporting > Order Report > General Ledger Report With Counter Account. Running the report is very slow, and November could not be run successfully even after waiting 3 hours with the process running in the backgrounds. There is another way to run an excel based download of all journals through the “GL Voucher Analysis” function. This returned 102,237 records which took about 4 hours to extract to excel, but  that excel file only has 100,000 rows of data implying some are missing due to output channels maximum no of row limitation. Can you advise the best , most efficient way to get these reports run for auditing?

Question, if you’re receiving customer schedule forecasts from Customers but they are for parts that are not Master Scheduled, where does that schedule go after releasing the schedule.  I see the Demand Line in Inventory Part Availability Planning with a status Planned.  But how do I clear that?  MRP is planning for this.  Typically when I import that into Master Scheduling, I no longer see the demand type of Customer Schedule Forecast, but for this case where I am not MS’ing this part, how do I clear that?

We recently upgraded from Apps 10 UPD4 to Apps 10 UPD7 and it seems like there was a change in behavior in the Create Project Wizard.  The “Copy Existing Project” box is now checked by default and we haven’t been able to figure out where to turn it off.  Does anyone know if this can be unchecked by default?  And if so, where?Thank you,Joann RMB in the left side of the navigator window or the bottom area of the window.  Select Create New Project  At the bottom of the the window 1/7 the Copy Existing Project box is checked by default
