Customer open Apps7.5, the buttons that normally appear on the top-right of the page are missing. The buttons include populate, search, save, etc.Is there a way to fix this?

What would you recommend as the software to use to backup and restore apps 10 database?I am looking for something quick and easy to allow me to carry out ad-hoc backup and restores

Hi,When we loose a BO and choose a “lost-reason”, we also have to choose a “Lost-To” reason on the BO. We cannot close the BO, without choosing a Lost To reason. We are not interested in gathering that information - does anybody know, if it is possible to simply remove that field or have it fillled in pr. default with a * star icon, as I have illustrated in the example below:   

I need to give access to a user for a particular document classI did this using window “Document Management\Basic Data\Document Basic → Access Template tab”. i.e. Person is added to the document class and given view and edit access.After this security refresh still my user cant access the attachments done by other users. When this access is given to the user can he view documents attached in the application by other users as well?Or do I have to setup something else?  Do I need to give the “Docman Administrator” system privilege to the user to do this? version: Application 10 UPD 7   

Hello: We are currently on IFS App 9 version. Recently we installed TAS for App 9 and started using the IFS Time Tracker 9. Our field technicians were able to download the Time Tracker 9 app in their respective iOS devices and start reporting time. We have one field technician who uses an android device and he downloaded the app from:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ifsworld.timetracker9.android&hl=en&gl=USBut when he tries to log in he gets the following error: Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Hi everybody!We are having trouble with finding a solution for internal transports within production. We want to notify the dedicated forklift driver when a WIP is ready to be transported from a work center to another within IFS. We were not able to solve the issue with ‘transport task’ because it’s a WIP.  The forklift is equipped with a IFS computer so we also considered using ’quick report’ to form a list that shows all work centers and their current status, but this solution also has its problems.Does anyone have a suggestion to this problem? All help is appreciated!Charles

Hi, How can we see in the easiest way if we can manage customer order lines with a steady output of a shop order? Let’s say we have a big shop order over several months of 200.000 pieces, producing 100 pieces /day. We have several costumer order lines, each week wanting 400 pieces for example.As we produce 100 pieces a day, it should not be a problem to deliver these costumer order lines. However, in the Inventory Part Availabilty overview screen, we only see the projected stock at the end date of the shop order. So all the costumer lines go in negative projected inventory untill we actually do the reporting, so it doesn’t tell ‘if everything goes according to plan, these customer order lines will be ok in the future’ How can we see that with the current planning, we will be able to deliver (or not)?

We are trying to load a custom field with the value of another custom field. I am trying to use two apis to pull the appropriate information but keep getting an invalid identifier message. Would anyone know the proper way to use the PL/SQL Expression method to set a default value. If nothing else point me to a location where I can find documentation on using this in a custom field. Below I have included the expression that I am trying to use, a screen shot of the custom field properties and the error that I am receiving. Hi All,Can someone please explain the reason why the Apps 9 version doesn’t allow to create a collective invoice if an advance invoice exists? Upon delivery of the orders, the customer required one collective invoice. Here you’ll notice that create invoice option is available in the Quick order flow handling window. But if you attempt to create a collective invoice from the “Create collective customer Invoices” window for the selected customer, you’ll be present with no search results.Thank youRushdi

Good day. recently the Mobile_Cleanup_Sys.Clean_Faulty_Sync_Tasks__ is never completing and just keeps executing. We try and kill the job, but it wont stop.I tried setting the error fag on the front end (IEE) and it wont allow me to set this job as an error or stop the job.We tried placing this in its own batch queue to keep it from jamming up the queue and adding more processes to its queue and it just kicked off more of these jobs that will not complete. We are running APPS9 UD14 and mWO. Where to look to diagnose and resolve this issue and how can you kill a process that wont die?

Hello together, We are logged in as IFSAPP-user and are still missing a modul ‘Recruitment’ in Aurena.It is installed, but we can only see parts of it, when we force it.  As an example, ‘Job Candidates’ can be find in projections grants, but we can’t set its grant to ‘Yes’ regarding the navigator.    As you see ‘Job Candidates’ as page exists, but it is not appearing in the navigator. I hope anyone has an idea how to force the grants.Thanks very much in advance. Best regardsAnatol

A user gets a message that they have not  been granted activity Invoice Document Management.  What needs to be set for these users?
