What does "Costing Failed" mean on a part need transaction?

What would be the best route to troubleshoot this issue?

Dear @ssabo 

This can be happened when you have not defined the unit cost for the part. It seems that you have only defined a price in part pricing. You can eliminate this by defining a unit cost to the part.
