Hi all, is it possible to use CTRL+K in relation to a custom field? In my case i want to use an enumeration, preferably with feature CTRL+K. When I press CTRL+K nothing happens, no value list is shown.Is it generally not possbile with Custom Fields?Thanks for your feedback.BR,Jan 

Hello Dear CommunityI have slight posting problem and I do not know how to correct posting or what i need to do to fix this and avoid this from happening.Our company is part of multi company. the problem I have is that, we received a supplier invoice from a common supplier, PO was raised on the sister company but invoice got sent to us in error and this got posted on the supplier account but created a IP13 posting,  and just to add to this, this invoice got paid and is in posted paid state.How can cancel or create contra to clear this transaction from my GL account as now I have difference in my Aged Debtors and GL report they do not agree.I would really appreciate if anyone has similar issue or how you have fixed this. Please see below GL transaction posting Thanking you in advance. ThanksSwati

Is there a way that I can also create multiple revisions with the Purchase Raw part type, similar to a manufactured part?I can never create a valid revision here so that the transfer does not overwrite it.Thank you for your help.

Hi,We are in the process of installing patches in our IFS environments, but we are unsure regarding the process as we are maintaining our own customization layer. Some background information around our build and delivery process:1. Merge update received from IFS into our archive folder.2. Generate a new build home (without our customizations)3. Generate a docker image containing the build home. This is done in order to run multiple builds at the same time. 4. Build and install a new delivery from-to the correct update version. 5. Continuously build and install deliveries including our customizations.Step 1-4 are we doing only once for each update.The question is, how are we going to include patches into this process? Do we have to add new patches to the archive folder and generate a new build home for each patch or series of patches?

Morning all, Within Page Designer we’re looking to add a custom field/custom fields to the ‘Time Registration’ page dialog box, allowing users to capture additional information when registering project time allocations. However within page designer, under Dialogs and the ‘Report Time Dialog’ this doesn’t seem like a possibility.This post discusses that custom field support isn’t possible in assistants, however is there another method of achieving this in Apps10 (Update 10 for us) such as a custom logical unit against the projection, creating a Group with these fields and adding that to the dialog? Cheers,Marcus

A user is getting this error when he click on his shortcuts for My Absence Calendar and Expense Sheet.The error is getting even when he try to use navigator.As this is mentioning missing dll, we checked with IFSAPP as well but the issue can not be recreated when logged in as IFSAPP.In the same way other users don’t have this issue.He is having all the required permissions as well.I really appreciate if someone can give any idea to fix this issue.we are in APP09.Thank you.

We have lots of parts which needs to be processed by multiple suppliers. for example, part A, in order to receive a part A,i need to place the order to supplier C, part no is C, after C is completed, supplier C will not ship to us, it will be shipped to supplier B. Supplier C will ship to next supplier B, and in the system, we will have a new purchase part B, and order placed to supplier B. after supplier B completed, supplier B will not ship to us. Supplier B will ship to next supplier A, and in the system, we will have a new purchase part A, and order placed to supplier A. after supplier A completed, supplier A will ship the final products to us.we are in APP10 UPD9, in order to fulfill this, every time we need to change the delivery address per purchase order line, since supplier A, B, C, we might purchase other parts which will be ship to us directly, just certain parts. my question is, is there a solution in APP10 upd

Hi I Is there anyone that can explain the manage report structure view in IFS business reporter? How to move reports, i only manage to move reports from unconnected to the folders but not the other way around. What happen then is that the reports are not accessible from order report function inside IFS. What is this used for?   BR Andreas

Hi,When we do Engineering Revision Transfer the Product Structure Status is default “Tentative”. Is there a way to set the DEFAULT status for manufactured parts (Structure Type = Manufacturing) to Buildable? Can you Change Sales Part number to point to different Inventory Part? We want to keep the sales part number but it needs to point to a different Inventory part, is this possible or do we have to create a new sales part number? Transactions already exist. what are my options? Thank you,

We have an existing part where Inventory UoM is set to EA.  We would like to change it to Case.  Is there any way to do that with an existing part and maintain all of the history or do we have to create a new part?
