Hi all,

The view for which I want to create a custom field does not have an OBJKEY. Is it possible to create one? If so how do I do it?

Hi @pranathi,

You can RMB on the respective custom field window and select “Activate RowKey” option.

You can execute this job in the preferred mode.

Hi @Bhagya Wickramasinghe,

I want it to make OBJKEY available for a view not ROWKEY. Is it possible to make it available?

Thanks & regards,

Pranathi

Hi @pranathi,

If the ‘OBJKEY’ column does not exist in the view, then you cannot add Custom Fields to that view. This column is not added to certain views when the relevant product teams determine there could be some complications. For instance, if the view is based on a union of 2 different LUs, OBJKEY is not added to the view as per the recommendations of Foundation1 framework.

If you need to add OBJKEY to the view, you would have to do it through a customization after doing some detailed analysis of whether it would cause any issues.

Hope this helps!
