I’m trying to restore a backup of our DEV MWS instances following the documentation but I get Access denied on some of the files, the services are stopped. Is there something else I need to stop before extracting the zip file?

Help needed.

Hi @arebbeadle,

Yes if you are going to restore an instance then please remove the existing one before doing it.

Thank You,

Hi @arebbeadle

Please kill if any Java processes running from IFS home.

How do I know, is it a service I need to stop? Is there a cmd I execute?

Hi @arebbeadle,

Try to give a full VM restart if you need to kill the process and try to restore and check. But with this error “Access denied” I'm suspecting that IFS user password might be incorrect. It would be a great if you can put the error in here.

Thank You,
