Hi!  I use IFS 8. Each month end, there will be users compain that they have to wait 1 or more hours even run a simple daily job. I check Database Backgroud Jobs. There are many big jobs are posted at month end. Some job will running more than 2 hours. Other jobs have to wait when 1 big job is running. I guess there is only one job can run at same time. Is it possible to run 3 or 4 jobs at same time?  Thus other jobs can execute on time if 1 or 2 big jobs are running.Is anyone can help me on this? Thanks in advance! 

We are an Alliance 12.5 site.When a new Customer Support order is created, an email immediately gets sent to the Service Agent assigned. I’m trying to figure out, where this is triggered and email configured.What I have found, is that the body of the email exists in an item in the “Messages Manager” under the Customizer tab.What I haven’t been able to figure out is where the configuration is that instructs an email to be sent on new Customer Support order creation, and that it should contain the text that i’m seeing in the Meesage ID: CST00002?Can anyone point me in the right direction?CheersMark. 

Is there a function within the ‘Customer Order’ screen to Create/print pick list? I’m attempting to print without leaving the ‘Customer Order’ window. We understand there’s a separate screen to create the list but specially want to print from CO screen. See attached if need be.

Hi Everyone, We are looking at populating the Custom Stat No field with the HS codes (unless anyone advises otherwise).We’ve identified around the HS codes for around 100,000 parts so far (with many more to go). Does anyone know if there is a way to change them on bulk to add the code to the part (the field will be empty at present)?

Hi,I have created a sales process template with actions for Business opportunities.In my action I am using custom fields, but in Aurena these do not show correctly.As you can see I have two custom fields ‘Public\Private’ and ‘Sector’ under actions that require the end user to enter the data.When you select sequence 30 and click ‘Enter Data’ you get the following:On a non custom field it displays correctly: How do I get the custom fields to display correctly? Thank you.

Hello, We have recently turned over our HR department. A new member is attempting to use the termination process in IFS apps 10. They have the same Permission Set access, however, they receive the following error message when attempting to complete the termination wizard. I have not found anything in the help that indicates where this access needs configured. Any guidance would be appreciated!  

In our v15.3 test we are able to minimize the search criteria using the red arrows.In out production, this option has disappeared. How can we activate that “button” 

How can i approve the document under approvals , i dont see a button for approving and rejecting. I can only see the object details. 

Hi Experts,I have a customer running FSM production environment & there is a requirement configure FSM instance to use HTTPS instead of currently used HTTP.The question is the customer has a specific requirement of not running the FSM installer file to reconfigure the application with these changes.Customer is asking whether it is possible to manually change the configuration files of the FSM instance to enable HTTPS communication, without doing an application reconfiguration through installer. Thanks in Advance !!!

Hi - my dispatch team has started looking into using SA activity allocation, and subsequent assignment. And they have some questions about Assign Multiple Activities function:Is there a way change the sequence of data columns? Why are the date sin US format, when they are set to be local in the client? Is there a way to add filter by SA?The idea is great, but they find it a bit difficult to use with the current layout. Will this be changed in 15.4 when Dispatch Console is completely migrated?

Hello all, In our custom screens, we would like to have only title, and no screen tip.In order to do this, we tried to leave blank the 'screen tip' property as shown in the first image below, but this has as result to be displayed the default screen tip, as shown on the second image ('This is a sample tip with text and stuff').How could we have no tip at all ? Is it possible to assign multiple resources to a shop order operation?Example: A Shop order operation is routed to Work Center “X”.Work Center X is made up of machine resources X01, X02, X03, X04.  A small order will run on X01 only while a large order will utilize all 4 machines. Can X01,X02,X03, and X04 all be assigned to one shop order operation?An attempt was made to manage it with multiple work centers where X1 represents 1 machine, and X4 represents all 4 machines, but this skews capacity views when a resource is assigned to multiple work centers.

HelloWe are using Apps 10, UPD13.  Does anyone know if this is a general application limitation?  The Main Representative Name field in Customer Contact, Business Activity and Business Opportunity that will match on last name or ID as well as first name?   In our current version, it only matches and displays results for first name. The field shown below will only begin to find matches on first name. In the example below, Helm is a Main Rep’s last name but nothing shows to be selected.   Thank you,Joann

How do you convert Custom LU Form Type to Aurena? I created a new Projection and created a new Page for the Projection but I can’t figure out how to setup the page like a Form? I don’t want a list I want a Form like we have in IEE, is it possible?  

Dear All,One of my senior advisors created a user in IEE. But some (purchase order and customer order webpages) aurena web pages cannot be found using that new user account. Then I duplicated ifsapp user account (this is a demo env) and tryied to do the samething, but I still can't find those web pages using the duplicate account. granted the same permission sets, but I still can not figure out what is the reason for this. Question from customer: Currently in service order Astea is rounding costs for every activity and summing rounded costs. For example, two technicians went to repair for 1:25 hour each. 1:25h is 1,41666666666 but Astea is counting 1:25 as 1,42.Calculation from financial tab Astea: 1,42 * 65 + 1,42 * 65 = 184,60 zl.It should be with rounding cost only on final summary.1,4166666666666 * 65 + 1,41666666666 * 65 = 184, 1666667 = 184, 17184,17.

Hi,Using PSO 6.7.0.30.We are trying to extend the scheduling window in our Gantt view.This is marked in PSO as a vertical blue line, but we have not found any parameter to extend this window. Where is the possibility to configure this?

Hi All, Is there an option in IFS Cloud (currently working with 21R2) to have a Service report As a Service technician in the Technician Portals (in Aurena). I know there is an option in IFS MWO, so hopefully we can have something similar in the technician portal.Thanks, Robert
