Hi, Is there a option to disable the import button for a group of users with a special Security Role. It is not allowed for users to use the Import function. verson 15.3.0.4  

In Terminate Employment Log there are so many In Progress records. Upon checking I saw some statuses employees are in Resigned status while some are still in Employed. Anybody have a clue?

I’m developing an outbound integration. I did the setup in developer studio and deployed server package. When I click on Start Local Server on Application Server in Developer Studio, I get below error message saying “The system cannot find the path specified”. Is there any solution for this issue?

We are working on improving warehouse setup and van warehouse workflow. We have activated Automatic Part Allocation under Material Demand - Workflow(Service), but materials get flagged as Needed even though they are available in the van warehouse. Any pointers?

Hello,               I’m looking to update the “PRIORITY” field of an Internal Customer Order from either the External Customer Order or better yet, the customer priority field found under Application Base Setup > Enterprise > Customer > Customer, then Order > Misc Customer Info tab.      The problem with the Internal Customer Order not picking up the customer priority, is that it is from a different site (contract) than the External Customer Order.  We have all of our External Customer Orders set up for Site 0.  The Internal Customer Orders are set up for whatever site the order is being placed out of (Sites 13,14,16,18,19)       As you may know, there is a delay when “Releasing” the External Customer Order, which the Purchasing Order is created, then the Internal Customer Order.  If you watch the Supply Chain Order Analysis screen after releasing an External Customer Order and constantly refresh it, you will eventually see the Internal Customer Order pop up.         I am

Hi All,I’m using ‘Change to Planned’ RMB option in order to change the status from Released to Planed because I want to delete this requisition.But I’m getting this error ‘The Requisition object is locked by another user.’   According to this post suggestion, I tried to lock the record and got an oracle error. Could you please let me know your opinion on this.I’m using IFS APP 7.5.Thank you.

Is there a way to change the default value of the invoicing option for resolved service orders?Invoice Option 

We’ve are running into the issue that a Service Contract cannot be added to a Work Order generated from a Separate PM Action Job. When we try to save the Work Order, we get this error:The PM Action Job is included in the contract the customer have with us. I’ve tried to generate a PM Action job from the Service Contract, but that cannot be done either. When I add it on the Service Contract (under PM Settings), I get this error:The equipment that I’ve picked is included on the contract.  Where are we going wrong?  Thank you in advance,Michael

Had to give both production servers and our database server a reboot last night after an update. Just did a quick check, and all looked fine.But today my users complain about Dispatch Console not working. So I restart DSE service on the main server. After doing this I can get one instance of Dispatch Console to work, but if I launch 2, the first will stopp. And sthe seciond be unstable.As a note: I run Astea Cache Server on a separate server from Astea Alliance

When using CreateAndImportDocument.svc we invoke the CreateAndImportDocument.svc/GetDocumentUrl which returns a URL in the form of: https://<cloud-environment>:<port>/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CreateAndImportDocument.svc/EdmFileSet(DocClass='<class>',DocNo='<no>',DocSheet='1',DocRev='A1',DocType='ORIGINAL',FileNo=1)/FileDataNow, uploading original works fine - but what about uploading the view copy? I’ve tried changing doctype to VIEW in URL (and yes, EDM basic has been setup to PDF = VIEW) etc but I’m kinda stuck.If someone could point me in the right direction I would be very happy (extra ping goes to @Mathias Dahl  :) )This is IFS Cloud21R2 atm I am testing against.

Hi Community, Recently, We have looked into an issue raised by one of our customers, which occurred in PROD environment.When sending customer order invoices via E-Invoice, application attaches a PDF of the invoice in the Customer Invoice screen. Customer has noticed that the PDF attachment of series of invoices (about 11 invoices only) have popped a error when we double click on the attachment. The error is shown as below.  As a result, users cannot view the PDF attachment (which contains invoice info) and The issue has not occurred in Prod after that mentioned invoice series.Customer wants to correct the issue with the corrupted attachments of 11 invoices in Production environment and view the attachments.Is it possible to correct the corrupted attachment in Prod and make them viewable? Hi all, On IFS10; UPD9. We have got a request to be able to mark purchases relating to a specific purpose. These purchases can both be on Project or not on Projects, so Project Code is not really an option.Has anyone has a good suggestion to achieve this? Was hoping to be able to use  Code Part D, allowing to track in Finance, but M1 doesn’t allow pre-posting for this Code Part. And the options available, are not useable for us.  Arend   

Hi,on a V15.4 we have a new functionality : customer return for material not used.  Coudl you explain the process and the setting required for this functionality ?It seems that on the transaction Customer Return we could add a SV as a document type to begin the customer return. Maybe that for the process, we have to do some action first for the Customer return ?  In my screen, I only have Invoice and Non system document option.How can we add the service order option inthis screen, in order to run a customer retunr for a SV with a material demand not used ? Thanks and Regards

Hi all,We have an issue with Non Inventory Purchases made from Work Orders.When the Non Inventory item is received, a Preliminary line is added to the Work Order with no associated financial transactions. When the Supplier Invoice is then received, the Preliminary cost is “Overtaken” - the M93 posting from the Supplier Invoice is replaced with TP3 postings.Our problem is that this only works if the Work Order is still open. In many cases, we close the Work Order prior to receiving the Supplier Invoice. Once the Work Order is closed, the overnight job to “Transfer Reposting Transactions” then runs, which results in the “Finally Posted” tickbox being ticked on the Work Task Transaction. When the Supplier Invoice is then received, the M93 posting is triggered as usual, but no TP3 posting occurs.I had hoped to reopen the Work Order and “Remove Finally Posted”, but this errors due to the status of the Work Task Transaction being “Overtaken” and not “Transferred”.
