FSMwe are currently using FSM 6 update 15, is there option to divide the day, month and year from the date field and store it in the different db field?Eg: user_def_dttm1 = 6/24/2022from the above fields i need to save that in three different field as belowuser_def1 = 6user_def2 = 24user_def3 = 2022we cant use substring expression, because it will not work for below10/24/2022 - because the position will keep on changecan any one suggest if there way to accomplish above requirement?

Hi,We are using the ISO20022 payment format with BOFA in the U.S. and will require ability to send supplier payment instructions to the bank for ACH, Wire and Check payments in the pain 001.001.03 format.  We are on Apps 10 Updt 13. I have successfully configured and tested the CHK pmt method in the supplier basic data, however, I cannot find the link to instruct IFS to provide the next check number from Payment Document Series.The required XML tag is <ChqNb> but I cannot get the system to generate this check number.Does anyone have guidance on this topic?Thanks,VC

Background: Two Sites belong to the same company. Site A supplies parts (including configured parts) to Site B. When Site B reports a defective part, Site B must complete an MRB case, physically inform Site A, and Site A must complete a RMA case.Problem: Site B has to create a new PO (and inform Site A) AND site A can’t issue credit since both sites are under the same company. Both sites, essentially, must start from scratch and perform much “foot work” outside of IFS.Request: What is the simplest process to transfer parts between sites AND return parts while cataloging MRB/RMA cases?Notes:Distribution orders aren’t viable since parts are often configurable. Solution must drive demand like a customer order. Solution must (of course) be traceable in IFS.

Hello, I have begun to use the IFS Aurena interface, and I am unsure how a user is created and how Permission Sets are applied to the user. I am able to find Solution Manager and search for users, but that appears to be the extent of it. Is the IEE setup and option not available in Aurena? From the Users screen, there seems to be very little that can be done. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!  

Is there any possibility to get the selected Decision Answer of a Decision Task using assystREST? From playing around with the API, I can get the Attached Decision Answers on the Decision Task event, but I can't find any easy way to see which one was selected. I also had a look at the Actions schema which includes a Decision field, but it seems like this is only used when taking a Decision action via REST, and doesn't return a value after the fact.

Hi Experts,I am trying to setup a file integration with FSM for the first time. The FSM app is setup as an app service in Azure. within the same resource group a storage account is created, within which a file share is setup in order to do the file integration.  with the following folder structureI now tried a basic outbound integration,When I trigger this, I run into the following error, I then tried my luck with an inbound integration by creating a monitor schedule,  ​​​​​​​Now I tried uploading a simple xml file that ought to create a request, in the specified folder​​​​​​But nothing happens, I don’t see the request getting created, nor anything in the integration log to point that this was picked up and processed up by the application.So this is where I stand now. I’m pretty sure I am doing some trivial mistake(s) as this is my first attempt at a file integration. I would greatly appreciate any help to get this off the ground​​​​​​​

Community, wondering how to fix this issue. now at GL, we realized the wrong GL account 5500 is posted for project issue(PROJISS). Please refer to the screenshots attached. 

What would be a way to go forward if a customer works in multiple languages and enters the description in, for example, English and there should be a French, German and Spanish description.Up to now I would say, they have to manually translate or use copy/paste via a web translation service.Is there a method that you can think of?Steve

Hi,Customer is in the process of setting up Touch Apps in order to enable Mobile Work Order.When using Database authentication, the deployment and activation of MWO was successful by logging in with the ifsapp account.  But customer is now using Azure AD authentication and when he wants to manage his TouchApps installation, he is redirected to the Office 365 login screen. As a result, it is no longer possible to use the ifsapp account. Is it normal ?Do you know the URL redirects on the Office 365 side and the IFS app so that Azure AD authentication can be turn off for Touch Apps management?Or should we set up an admin user account that can log in via Azure AD authentication? What permission sets should be assigned to it? Below is the configuration of the external redirect URIs on the server : Is anyone able to point me in the right direction ?I’m very new to setting up Azure AD authentication.Customer is using IFS Applications 10 UPD12. Thanks and regards.

can somebody clarify, once a course started, what happens to the waitlisted candidates.are they automatically registered for next  available course as per schedule ? is there a notification to waitlisted candidates indicating if ?  appreciate an update. Bruno 

Hi all,we have custom client-report (rdlc) which contains signature (format jpg) in it.On DEV, ACC, TEST, the printed report has signature on it.e.g.  On PROD the signature cannot be shown in the report. The Code-Table Cust App Params (SAS TOKEN) exists in all environments.  Any idea why PROD cannot print the signature? ~Juni

I want to create a custom field on the supplier invoices analysis screen but no data is showing.I am going to the LU IncomingInvoice: Using the api ‘project_api.get_name’. The field code_c is the project_id.When I load the custom field to the view I see no data: I have managed to create this custom field on the Supplier Invoice Analysis (detailed screen) which uses LU ‘InvoiceLedgerItem’.Any ideas?Thank you.

Hello,We are trying to limit our bucket resource to 3 activities per slot period. I’ve tried to set this up in the Rule and Rule collections then applied the rule under Resource Types for the bucket resource but when I test this out, I am still seeing slots open up for the bucket resource. Is there any other parameter or configuration that I might be overlooked?Please advise if possible. Thank you!

is it possible to set the Shipment Type automatically to (NR - Create Shipment on Release) in the Delivery Information tab when a customer order is created. I have set the shipment type to (At Order Release) in the Basic Date but it is not working. 

In the Astea Browser we can right click on a line in Installed Item and create a new Service Order (or other action) Is it possible to do something similar in v15.4 Web Employee Portal (I do not yet have a test environemnt for this)? I can’t find anything in 15.2

in V15.4 the manager workbench seems to be no more available as a separate application. Does this module “still availble “and we need to log to the employee portal to have the same functionalities ?Thanks for your feedbackrgdsChristophe

Hi,Does someone know in which version/release in IFS Apps, the table Person_Info_Comm_Method_tab was removed ?I can see that it’s not in App9 and later, but can see in App8.However, in the environment I checked, that table is not being updated with the records added to the Communication Method tab in the Person record. There are some old records in that table.The Comm_Method_tab where party_type = ‘PERSON’ is the table which is get updated with the records added.This causes me to think that the earlier table might have been removed in a release/service pack in App8.Someone have an idea ? Thank you,
