In order to learn about integration structure, I created an "R&D Extension Project" called IFSDEMO. I followed the steps below in order.I installed "WebLogic 12.1.3" in my project. I did the "Synchronize Libraries" process. I added CancelOrder.BizApi and OrderServices.serverpackage in ORDSRV Component to Local Application Server. I did the "generate code" operation on "Local Application Server" again. "Generate Code" was successful. I did the "Clean and Build" process on the "Local Application Server". And I encountered 'java.lang.NullPointerException' error.I cannot start the "Local Application Server" because the Build was not successful. Also information:Language and region setting of application machine: en-US. Java version: JDK 1.8.0_25_64bit WebLogic version: 12.1.3 Build Home version: 9.4Screenshots:Generate CodeClean and Build

We are running Apps10 UPD14.  We have SSO setup using ADFS.  We updated our ADFS setup and the manifest file per the instructions in technical documentation.  ADFS SSO works correctly for IEE and Aurena. After installing the Outlook CRM Panel add in - we see it on the toolbar.  When it is selected, a login window flashes by, but the panel returns with just a login button.  If we click that button, another login window opens and then closes (no errors displayed) - but the CRM panel only shows a login button.Any idea what is wrong?

Hi All,While creating new employee through the wizard, I got this error. Any idea what am I missing ? Much appreciated

Hi,In Apps 9 there was a link to a Tips & Tricks portal, this portal had some useful videos on the search dialog. This portal has been taken down, I searched the IFS videos on youtube which has replaced this and I can’t find a good video or PDF explaining the search functionality for Apps 9. The search dialog (F3) is a powerful tool, I don’t have anything to give to new users, if I could get something it would save me having to create something. Thanks,Kevin

Hello,We have been tracking an issue for more than a few months now and have no explanation as to why this is occurring. Was curious if anyone has seen this type of error before and if you were able to correct it. We have also had an IFS Engineer spend roughly 8 hours troubleshooting with no luck.We are using IFS 9.10 and Oracle 12.This Out Of Memory Error does not show up consistently in a given area or if performing a certain task. This pops up all over the place. We have 100 users in our environment and only maybe 5 report this non-stop. This error forces you to restart IFS but once restarted it could go days before seeing the issue again. We started by replacing the end user machines for the troubled 5 users that see this consistently, with no resolve.Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.OutOfMemoryException: Out of memory.at System.Drawing.Bitmap.GetHbitmap(Color background)at Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Controls.CachedShadowCanvas.Get(Int3

Hi All, I would like to push data from a custom table to the mobile. I created a sync rule with a extract rule.Set a Frequency on the sync rule, but nothing is getting pushed and the app isn’t updated.I have to push the sync now button, in order the push the data. Is there a way to send the data to mobile on a frequent base, without a update trigger?

can we return the goods to supplier that has already  been received in our inventory?

We are currently running 21R1. When i go to Supply Chain and Manufacturing Postings Analysis, we have several transactions that have a status of 2 - Completed but not transferred.  I am transferring transactions (specifically Processing Transactions) for shop orders.  The background job shows that the job has been run and posted.  I then go to Update GL vouchers and I can see L and T1 transactions.  However, they don’t appear to be posting.  they disappear and the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Postings Analysis  is still showing a status of 2. Some transactions from the same date have transferred without issue and I don’t see any differences except for the employee.  Any suggestions on what may be going on?  I’ve looked everywhere I can think.

Hey all, I am trying to make an API call in Astea to retrieve all items that match a certain criteria. I can currently get 1 item to be retrieved sucessfully, but not all items.  Ideally, I would like to get my information from the top level of Installed Items so that I can retrieve other data in a single call. The current call I am making which gets me a single item returned in the results:<root xmlns:dt="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:datatypes"> <session email="" alias=""> <state bc_name="item_installed"> <action name="getdescrtable"> <attribute table_name="item_inst" key_name="ce_pref_comm" key_value="E" element_name="ce_email_id" default_value=""/> </action> </state> </session></root> Ideally I would like to call something like:<root xmlns:dt="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:datatypes"> <session email="" alias=""> <state bc_name="item_installed">

Hi,We’re trying to create  a Crystal Web Service for IFS on windows 2016, but we’re unable to run the IFSCRWebSetup installer.  We get the following error…

Hi, How can we most efficently define the time a part needs to dry, but when it is drying it should not be counted as capacity on that work center? We paint a part, and after painting it needs to dry for 1 hour before we can continue with the next operation. However, the drying phase does not take capacity on the painting workcenter. So it should be added to the total lead time, but not take any capacity. We thought of queue time, but that’s for the workcenter itself. Drying time depends on the part.Making another workcenter to dry seems a bit overkill, so I wonder if anyone has another idea? Thanks!Merten

Community, we have an issue, that we see lots of the supplier invoice final posted by IFSAPP.  our final posting is done by AP staff manually. so in the voucher side, we should see exact user ID instead of IFSAPP.just wondering why this is happening. attached the one sample screenshot.

One of my customers works with booking hours against projects. I was wondering if it is possible for the external resources to book hours in IFS, while they don't have a user id in IFS.They work with project teams (for their internal employees) to book their hours.I know that in some situations the supervisor for the temporary employee fills in their time registrationSo hours for Marc are not entered by Marc but his supervisor. However, I think it is more efficient if Marc could book his hours him self. Any option to do that?
