MWO : Doc attached on Object

Hi , I have a doc attached in objectin worktask i can see 3 docs attached1 doc : comes from workorder1 doc : created on the task1 doc comes from object but In MWO i can only see 2 doc on worktaskand the doc on object should be seen on Object form but it is empty which parameter to configure to get the doc on object in MWO Best regards

Inventory Part Revision on Product Structure Revision

Hi, We use the revisions of Inventory Parts to keep the revision our customer is on (Field ENG_REVISION), so when we do an internal revision of our Product Structure we would like to keep the customer revision the same.For this I started out doing a custom event to copy the ENG_REVISION field from the previous revision, but I am hitting the mutating error. Below is the code I am using for now, and attached is the event ID and all its parameters.I have read that there are workarounds if trying to use background jobs, but don’t exactly know and understand how to go about doing so. Would appreciate any help! Pick List View Number of Lines

Hello, Currently when updating a pick list, we can see 9 lines per page. This is cumbersome when the pick list contains hundreds of serials. Is there a way to change the amount of lines seen on each page or to advance to next page after last line on current page is populated? We are using Alliance v15.

E-Invoice XML File Tax code on line level

Hi is it possible to enter a tax code on line level for an E-invoice XML file supplier side?according to the documentation it is possible to enter a TAG on Header Level. on INvoiceRow i see no field where i can define the tax code. I know its an anusual request. The customer has an Interface when they scan in the invoice they can enter a Tax Code directly. They dont want to use the external supplier invoice tax code definition since it doesnt fit their requirement. They have somethimes the same different tax code for the same supplier same tax percentage same delivery and source country. It depends on service or inventory supply. Best RegardsSophal

Remote Assistance no sound on Android (11) device

I have the lastest MWO app (28 oct 2021) and use it with IFS Cloud 21R1.I can make calls and hear the ringing sound on the mobile device but I cannot hear the person in the backoffice. The other way round, the person in the office can hear the mobile engineer.Is this expected behavior or should there be sound (which I expect when I look at the Cimcorp demo video).Does anyone have any suggestions besides checking if all volume controls are on ;-)

Can we install HTM Scandinavian version 4 (or latest) in PSO 6.1?Can we install HTM Scandinavian version 4 (or latest) in PSO 6.4? Moreover, we would like to know if there is any restriction of versions compatibility in between PSO and HTM or we can just simple install any version of PSO with any version of HTM? is "YYYY" the same as "yyyy"

Hello , we have experienced strange behaviour of the system. Dates in the last week of the year were changed/forwarded on layouts by one year. When date in the system was 31.12.2020 it was printed as 31.12.2021. WQe have discovered that in used languages Short date format was set to “YYYY-MM-dd” when changed to “yyyy-MM-dd” dates are printed correctly. Can someone please provide explanation ? What is difference between YYYY-MM-dd and yyyy-MM-dd ? Thanks Martin

Excel-migration does not support calls to methods?

Hi!Is it so that Excel-migration does not support calls to methods? Just supports Views and modify/insert?I would like to use Issue Inventory Part -method through Excel-migration. Do not ask why:) In Apps 10 the issue method includes a BOOLEAN-parameter, so we needed to create a new method with VARCHAR2-parameter. The new version works ok with normal migration, but Excel-migration just gives error: "Error in executing job XXXXX".I am suspecting that Excel does not support calling methods?I tried to do the easiest possible to prove my point: Debug-file did not really help me to figure out what is the problem. Using Apps10 Update 10 and Excel-mig's Build Date is 2020-11-17.regards,Harri

Customer invoice reprint is unusually slow

Hi Community,One of our customers running on APPS9UPD7 is having an issue when reprinting modified customer invoice where a single invoice takes about 5+ minuets to generate the PDFPrint window is stucked in below screen for 5+ mins and producing the output or preview report and there are no errors in the report Print window Debug console ReportRuleEngine.GetReportDefaultsExploreReports.NewClientReport server invokes seems to be the most time taken calls from the debug console.Behavior is observed only for the said report and getting for all the data sets. Any insights about this would be appreciated

Workround for purchasing a Configured Part

Hi, My customer is manufacturing a Configured Partand also they buy this Configured Part from supplier (for OEM). while, for IFS (both APPS 10 and IFS Cloud)in IFS purchase order screen, it doesn’t allow to input a configured parts directly. Is there any workaround for it? Thank you.

Old On-Prem Active Directory as External Identity Provider

We user Active Directory with a Windows domain that is older than 2016, so OpenID Connect isn’t available to us natively yet. If we don’t upgrade our domain before we upgrade to IFS Cloud, is it still possible to use AD to authenticate our users? Is there a third party tool that we can use to relay requests to expose our LDAP endpoint as the OpenID Connect protocol? I think my question is essentially asking the same thing as this one, but some extra details in the context of IFS could be very useful to me here, please.Active Directory as OpenID provider? - Stack OverflowKeycloak is mentioned here as an option; has anyone here used it?

IFS Report Designer Not Opening Layouts

I was using report designer without any problems, but now when I try to open a layout nothing happens. No errors, no warnings, no open layout. I have tried copying a coworkers report designer folder that worked on his machine, but did not work on mine. The only thing I did previous is updating to Visual Studio 2021, but my coworker also did this and he had no problems.Any ideas on how to get the layouts to start opening again?

What is the easiest setup to automatically calculate overtime?

Hello,I'm trying to make it the employees as simple as possible. Having said that, it means I have to setup the basic data so their time registration is easy. What I want is that employees book 8 hours via project, shop order or work order. Those hours will be automatically linked to wage code NORMAL.How to setup the basic data, which will move additional hours into wage code OVERTIME?Anybody have a document on that or at least some tips?Thanks in advance,Steve
