Can anyone advise what the outcome is if you select this field in a Supplier Record?  ‘Check Supplier’ 

Dear IFS Community,A prospect of ours is creating vehicles that must comply with the EASA POA regulations. They are looking to use IFS Cloud for their manufacturing process but have also asked if and how they can bring the support for POA regulations into IFS Cloud?  In this way it's one single system instead of having to maintain a manufacturing system and a kind of quality system for the EASA regulations.Their designin is done in a separate system/unit so the DOA is not required to be in IFS. Maintenance is a discussion for the future.Any help is welcome on how to support the POA in IFS Cloud :)Cheers,Stephan 

Hi,We have sometimes 2 technicians on a same work order. One is the main one, having checklist with pictures to take, the 2nd one is an helper. This 2nd one could take photo, but attached to the service order only (he has no CL).We need to identify photo taken by this technician on site of those added by Back-Office on the service order.  Is there any way to identify these mobile-taken pictures with any parameter ? Hello, My client would like to know if it is possible to change the beginning of the automatic counter of the Supplier and the Client to make the distinction between both in entities where they both appear?Lets say, when I register a client, the counter starts at 1 000 000, so the next client I register takes no 1 000 001, and so on. Same for the supplier that would start at 2 000 000, and the next supplier I save would have no 2 000 001 Thanks a lot in advance, Laura

Hey guys, we have Purchase Parts that one Site in Company A mainly purchases from another site in Company B and resells it to customers. Unfortunately we have 2 different processes here:Purchase the product for the actual price from internal supplier Purchase a higher level product for direct or transit delivery to end customer where the full price is on that product, but the same parts as point 1 get added as additional customer order lines (and thus purchase order lines on site A) with price 0.Basically we have a mix for the same parts of Purchase Order lines with the actual price and purchase order lines with price 0. When calculating the average purchase price for these parts the calculated price is now wrong. It’s hard to change the process in this area. Does anyone have a bright idea how we could get “correct” calculated costs in company A w/o manipulating the database after (which we want to avoid)? Like exclude certain PO lines from the calculation?Any ideas would be appreciate

Hi!We use IFS8. Normal there is Total Tax Amout in PO subtotal area when print PO. It looks like as follow picture. Recent we create a new site. But there is no Total Tax Amout in PO subtotal area when print all PO in this new site. It looks like this. What setting I missed for new site? Thanks in advance!

Hi All,I’m logged in with IFSAPP credentials and want to delete an unwanted migration job.I can MJ details and the delete button.But when I click on the delete button, nothing happens, and not even get an error.I have checked the Grant Access to Users page and the relevant MJ can be seen in the list.But there are no records when I click on the ‘Bulk Grant’ button.Kindly let me know your opinion, please.Thank you in Advance.

Hi, is it possible (and how to set up) to use decimal numbers for a product of service in a service order.In a service order, we want to fulfill the Service saying we used : 1,5 . but we have a message it’s not possible to have split quantities.Do we have a a way in order to allow this use case ?  Even if we have this message, if we save, the decimal quantity is saved for the line.is it a bug for the message ?(satisfait = fulfilled)  Thanks and Regardsanthony

Hi experts,how can I get the default e-mail address via API from comm. methods of a certain customer?I tried this API:IFSAPP.COMM_METHOD_API.Get_Default_Email(Customer_No)But it doesn’t work. Only if I enter any user name instead of the customer order no as parameter. 

We have Purchase Order Authorisation Rules in place for the majority of our sites for various values. One of our sites has a few suppliers that they create ‘running’ orders for, which are updated throughout the month, instead of creating 1-off orders on each occasion. Each time the running order is updated (via a change order), they may have to repeatedly authorise these orders depending on their value. Is there a way to specifically exclude a few suppliers from purchase authorisation rules. When setting up purchase auth rules there is an option to apply a rule to a specific group of suppliers, but not to exclude. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,Harley

Greetings, IFS Community. Sometimes, when we right-click on a line, the following pop-up window appears. The behavior does not occur on all lines, only on one or two.  Occasionally, when I right-click, the following window appears.  What is the reason for this window pop up to appear? Any idea why?

Hi All, I have some issues with getting the updated data in mobile.I created a additional filter in the Mobile Task Overview, for tasks with status Waiting. That all works fine. If update a task via the web or smart client, it will just pop up in the list, all good.The issue occurs when a user changes a task to the status Waiting task via a custom Mobile button (which has a custom client script to update the task), the task will be updated correctly in the backend (aslo correct in the web and smart client). But won’t popup in the mobile, only after I manually update someting in the task (like updating the description) in the web or smart client, then it will popup in mobile after a few seconds just fine.I tried setControlValue and the generateDataTransaction function, all updating the task just fine, but won’t update/sync the task in mobile.Now as a workaround I created a Business Rule which will be triggerd when status changes to waitng, which sends an XML update to the task (see belo

In Dispatch Console there is a field for Material Exp. Delivery date: where is this data pulled from? If we put in an estimated date for a back order, it does not show here. 

Community,wondering whether IFS projects really has the restriction to the dependencies and constraint that you scheduled, or this is just for planning purpose, will not do any control on the activity behavior?for example, activity 1 and activity 2, i set the dependency between these 2 activities is Finish to Start. Does the system really will stop me if I start working on activity 2 (Release, create order, purchase receipt and etc..) before closing the activity 1?same question to constraint.  if the activity is set to Start Not Earlier Than….., does the system really will control user’s activity to the project activity not starting the activity until the date we assigned?Thank you.

Hello all. We are beginning to look at implementing assystChat to our IFS assyst implementation, and I am looking for information on whether the feature includes a console that shows real-time data relating to Chat. What we are looking for is a console which will show number of assyst users logged in to chat, status of each assyst user, number of chats being responded to, number of chats waiting in the queue, etc.From what I can see after installing the Chat integration in our DEV environment and in the wiki documentation, no such console exists. Does anyone have any experience with getting such data from assystChat that they can share? Thanks.

We have a requirement where the customer is looking for similar functionality, to delay the Cost of Goods Sold based on Delivery Confirmation for Customer Order, for Shipments that are linked to Project/Sales Contract and do not have a Customer Order. Not sure if there is a solution using standard functionality. Is this something that others in the group have come across and solutioned? Ideas and suggestions are appreciated.

Hi all,I am currently using this ‘Transfer Unit’ button functionality in the Repair Center screen.  We have a lot of repair center transactions and the volume that is to be done by batch at one time is quite high. As such we require this function to be done en masse by batch. Exactly like how a Mass Update works. I understand how to do a Mass Update for fields for a screen. However, it seems doing a Mass Update with this Transfer Unit button seems a little more complicated. Any ideas on this?

Our customer is on Apps10.They seem to have lost many of their customer orders and lines and claim that they never ran the cleanup of customer orders. Is there any known core bug which could accidentally or intentionally delete or remove customer order lines and / or customer orders?The shipment lines still exist and seem to show links to the former customer orders.
