Due to HR policy changes, we will start the absence year as per the calendar year.
Now Is it possible to set up a custom calendar for the rest of 6 months?

Hi,
As the error message suggests you must have covered the whole year for the custom calendar.
However, as per your requirement I think you can just switch switch to a new calendar type by changing the calendar in the absence group.
