Hi,I am hoping someone can answer a few questions we are having with regards upgrading our current on premise FSM environment to release FSM6U25.IFS Support tells us to go to IFS Consultancy who immediately price up a SOW just to look at envionment or else to ask questions here.Initial installed was by IFS consultants. Just trying to initially upgrade DEV envionment. Our Webclient/Mobile clients are run off a DMZ App server and our App server behind firewall is running smartclient and is on same subnet as DB server. DMZ App server has following virtual directories.FSMServer, FSMDEV, FSMDEV_MOBILE, FSMDEV_WEBCLIENT, FSMTEST….The options on the upgrade screen are FSM Database , FSM Application Server Web/Smart clients  and FSM Mobile Service.After selecting FSMServer and c:\intepub\wwwroot\FSMServer, upgrade DEV envionmentIt then asks to connnect to SQL DB server and FSMDEV db.As far as I know there were no ports open for named pipes between DMZ and backend DB server, but yet it was inst

Hi all,I am trying to create a lobby - Shipments which contains Shipment status and count. I want to pass Shipment status as filter to Shipment screen but got this error. Below is my navigation URL.page/Shipments/List?$filter= Objstate eq $[Objstate] FYI, I can close the error and click the search the button and it will pull the correct data for me but how doi get rid of this error message popping up. Thank you for your expert advice.

Hi I have 2 questions around the Auto reversing manual voucher. Why is the Interim Voucher option greyed out , am I missing a step or a setup? I am using a manual voucher type connected to the M  function group  If this is a foreign currency auto reversing voucher,is there a setting in IFS that instructs the system to take the exchange rate of the original voucher and not the exchange rate in the system on the reversal date ?

Hello,My customer has several business bases where users require to monitor some changes made on some tables. (Design office : keep track DOP structure & routing modifications for example).I know that table tracking can be enabled with Hisoty log configuration screen.However, to see every users’ modifications there is a need to have the Administrator privilege enabled, even if we use quick reports or lobby elements to display the log data.==> What does granting this privilege to a “normal” (Design office, quality manager, Operations manager, ...) end-user mean in terms of system behavior and accesses ?==> I saw in a diferent post that IAL could be used as a workaround : is it still meant to be deprecated ?System : IFS Cloud Aurena 22R2

Hello, I have a subset of parts that are processed on Shop Orders with an outside operation. The Supplier they are processed through has minimum Lot requirements by part size. Currently, our scheduling group has to look through IPAP to find these Shop Orders. They will then move the SO dates to try and group them together to avoid the lot charges. I’ve looked through the help section but I do not see anything that appears to address this. I am hoping there is a way within the native functionality to address this. Any guidance would be appreciated. 

Go to the Engineering >Routing > press the command button Copy Routing Revision function in Aurena / IEE and that have attachments in the routings operations attachments are not copied to the newly created Routing operation.Based on the initial technical investigation , it was observed that when we click the Copy Routing revision button, the application calls to routing_operation_list_API.copy_routings . This function has a parameter called, copy_attach_documents . If this parameter received "1" as the value ,the document should copy. Accordingly, from the application level the specific values passes but from the database level this is not happening.

When i executed the invoicing of Service contract in background jobs i noticed that warning ‘Invoicing could not be completed for following Service Contract(s), probably due to stop in the Customer Order type that is used’Note: i kept Cust Order Type as enabled from create invoice.

Hello IFS Community,We are working on an outbound BIZAPI in APPS 7.5 where we send an XML from IFS to the external system through HTTP request. In response, we are supposed to get the same XML with some extra information (additional tag to get the PDF data and this tag is included in the Standard view). When we invoke the BIZAPI through Web Service Tester, we get the desired response but when we send the same request through a PLSQL procedure using “Plsqlap_Server_API.Invoke_Outbound_Request_Bizapi”, we get a generic response saying “ HTTP to https://externalsystem.com is executed”. Any idea? Are we missing something while creating the BIZAPI in APPS 7.5? Fyi, the BIZAPI type is Outbound Request. Would appreciate your help. Thanks & Regards,Mohit.

We use the document default SET_APPROVED_SEC_CHKPT, which in Apps9 requires the user to enter a password to finally approve a document revision. We have the same setting in IFSCloud but it does not seem to activate. It is still documented as a feature in the documentation here IFS Cloud Documentation.Does anyone else use it in IFSCloud and is there any reason it doesn’t activate?

Has anyone experienced the following error?Can't open IFS 9 applications and also IFS 10 applications..net framework has been installed, I have installed and uninstalled .net framework several times but the same error still occurs.error :ERROR SUMMARY    Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log.    * Activation of https://ifs10.sample.co.id:48080/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application resulted in exception. I am not able to place question for solution in correct format in IFS community. I am a little confused about the Sub forum field .Actually i will not submit my question in any Group or moderator area . I want to submit to IFS solutions such as Community-IFS Solutions- Finance( Financials)-Please help me to submit a question in proper manner .  

As I mentioned in the title, searching in shop orders is too slow. There are 78,995 records here. Could this be slowing it down? Approximately 40,000 records were created before 2018.These records will no longer be used. We want IFS not to look at these records while doing research? Is there any way to do this? Can we deactivate all records created before 2018? We are using IFS APP 8 version.

@Mathias Dahl  Do you know if there’s any control via Document Default Values to have the File option unchecked by default when we create a new Document revision?The reason for this is that we implemented a CRIM to notify users when a certain document is about to expire. They would need to then create a new document revision and check-in the new PDF. So, we never will need to copy the old file in the new document revision. I see that this FileInfo parameter comes back as True in the API, but I couldn’t find any Document Default Value to control this.  

I am working with a customer that prefer to force the user the enter the Document Title when attaching a document to an IFS object, rather than have it default to the original file name.  They are looking to define a file naming convention on their documents and can’t always ensure the original file will follow it.  They primarily will be using “New” command in Document Attachments, then either dragging and dropping or navigating to the desired file.  Ideal state would be after selecting the desired document, the Title would remain blank, and user would have to type a Title.  I have looked around and don’t see any way to achieve this.The best approach I can suggest is when creating a new Document, in the dialogue box enter the Document Title first, then drag/drop or browse to the desired file.  Write work instruction and train users to do it this way.  The manually entered title will be retained if user follows this process.

Hi Experts,I have setup the External file template with the necessary to conditions to upload credit card transactions. When I upload the transaction it gets successfully uploaded without any errors and External file load information indicating the transactions are transferred but no transactions are shown in the Credit card transactions window.Please let me know whether I have missed anything here.

I have a customer attempting to change existing parts with Part Type Manufactured to Manufactured Recipe.  Whatever we try, we get an error “The state of this parts structure prevents the structure from being converted”.  We tried setting the Structure to Obsolete, putting in Phase Out Dates, making a new Rev with a structure Tentative, nothing works.  Is it possible to do this, hoping we are missing the right steps/process to allow this to happen.  We can’t delete the Product Structure header as it has been made Buildable.  They are in Apps 10.

Dear Community,  I looked through in the community and in the Tech docs but I couldn’t find answer to my question, so maybe you can help me. Do you know any way to “hide” the IFS admin (/admin) landing page in Apps10 (UPD14)?About the current structure: currently everyone van reach the regular landing page and the /admin landing page in our network. When we need to log in to App server, from our personal device we need to RDP to a “jumphost” and from that jumphost, we need to RDP to the App server. Main goal is, everyone should reach the regular landing page from the personal devices, and reach the regular and the admin landing page from the jumphost or the app server itself only. We solved this in case of IFS MWS Console because that is in an other port so we can restrict that, but how can we manage this regarding the /admin landing page which is in the same port? Thank you very much in advance for any thoughts!Kind regards, Balazs
