Today I was trying to test a technique to run a MODIFY__() PROCEDURE that will affect a bunch of Inventory Parts in order to update the Safety Lead Time Value. Hi Everyone,We’ve run into an issue after deploying a ‘utility model’ to our database using IFS Developer Studio and the ‘Generate Code and Deploy’ action. We followed that up with a ‘Refresh Dictionary Cache’ actions. We deployed this way to our DEV environment without issue but we are running into problems in our QA environment. After deploying our code we start to get errors when we attempt to create orders in our system using a custom API that was created for us. Hi,I'm currently trying to add new command to the Suppliers page, which leads to SQL quick report based on this entity. I need the quick report to run just on the selected suppliers. Is there a way to do it? There is a possibility to add parameter when creating the command, but I cannot figure out how to make it work.Adding SQL Quick report command parameterI believe that selection should be based on SupplierId from the selected supplier(s). So I put it into the “Context value” on the right. But what should go into “Destination Attribute field?Also - is there necessary WHERE clause in the Quick Report SQL statement, or should I leave it without it? 

Hi allHas anyone been in a similar position to us & found a better solution ? ScenarioAll our raw material safety data sheets (SDS) are in IFS (APPS10 UPD18), stored in the db as PDF files.If there was an incident, eg someone spills a potentially hazardous product, the first aiders will need quick & easy access to the relevant SDS. Where are we now ?We have a custom shortcut that launches the general search function, with DocumentContent pre-selected as a search domain This works fine. You can search for, say “acid” and IFS will provide sensible results. the only snag is that when you click on a  result, you go to the document revision page.There’s a further click required to actually get to the document itself.While this works, the objective from the start was to make this process as easy and intuitive as possible. It feels like we haven’t achieved that goal. Is there a trick we’ve missed ? Thanks

Hi,The issue we have happen regularly (once every one or two months) on one of our customer (V15.1) . The production environment is down and need to be restarted. Hi,During testing I implemented some conditional formatting which produced an error.The only actions available are "reload", "details" or "go to home page".How do I reset this setting.To resolve it, I deleted the user and recreated it. (not a good solution)Kind regards.Mickael CORMIER

Hi all,  My client has implemented purchase order authorization with 3 steps. I would like to know if step 3 is refused, how is it possible to revoke all authorization for the buyer to change his purchase order? For now, I can see that if step 1 was authorized by one user and step 2 by another user, the user of step 3 cannot revoke previous steps. Laura

Hi all, For a client we’re trying to set up a Delivery Route linked to our internal customers with two departures per day. The Business Requirement is to have a shuttle leaving in the morning and in the afternoon. This shuttle will leave from the logistics warehouse and deliver to a route of internal production sites. We have created the following Delivery Route for this:IFS > Delivery RouteThis Route was attached to all internal customers on the address level. When creating a CO the route is automatically filled in the Order Details. When adding a CO Line, the Planned Ship/Date should change according to the Wanted Delivery Date and pick the departure in the morning or in the afternoon. The Planned Delivery Period should then fetch this information in order to display a period linked to the assigned calendar (Site or Customer level).The problem is that the Planned Ship/Date always picks the departure route in the morning. Has anyone worked with multiple deliveries per day yet in th

Hello,I set up a supplier invoice payment authorizer- User : Tarek_Abdelhedi, can authorize until 50000€ (supervisor = DF)- User : DF can authorize without limitsWhen i try to approuve the invoice with user Tarek_Abdelhedi, i get this error message which is normal.When i try to approuve the invoice with user DF (which is the supervisor), i got the same error which is not normal. In IFS page help, as a supervisor, i am supposed to approuve above the maximum amount defined.Can you please let me know about this issue ?Thanks,Tarek

Dear Community,  Maybe you have some ideas for our small issue. We are using Apps10 UPD14.We have some email sending event actions, but not all the time we have “To:” email addresses (coming from substitution field: &EMAIL_SENDER_ADDR). If there is no value in the &EMAIL_SENDER_ADDR the Application message status will be Failed because no To: address. Question is: how can I tell the event action, it should perform the event only if the &EMAIL_SENDER_ADDR IS NOT NULL? Can I use e.g.: = ‘%’ or LIKE ‘%’ or do you know any trick?   Thank you very much in advance for any suggestion!Kind regards, Balazs

I have a upgraded Maintenance Purchase Order Requisition from apps 9 to cloud.In the Part Requisition Lines, when I try to create a Requisition to Order on one of the lines I get an error that the Maint_Material_Order_No is mandatory for Jt Task Mat Line Pegging and requires a value.  Does anyone know why this error pops up when trying to process the Requisition to Order.   

My users are looking for a way to add collection notes to a customer and/or invoice lines.  How are other people tracking their collection notes for collections?I think I need to create custom fields for them to add the data. IFS APP10 UPD9Thank you,Elaine

Hi, we are using V15.4.2 currently.We have found that when creating new Installed Items, we are able to select a Product ID even if set as Obsolete, which we were hoping would not be possible.Also are able to clone an existing Installed Item that has an Obsolete product.BUT if we go to an Installed Item and try to change the Product ID to something that is set as Obsolete, it does not show as an option, it only offers active Products.This seems inconsistent, so can anyone define how this is supposed to work please?  And is there any way we can prevent users from using certain Product ID’s?Thanks

In the Page Designer, I tried adding a Command button for ExecuteWorkflow action in the B2B supplier portal page “Order Lines to Confirm”. In the Purchase Order page, is it possible to turn off the message that appears when you modify the receipt date of a line on the PO? See attached image. We have PO’s with dozens of lines, and if they are modified, the user has to answer the message for every line. Is there a way to just ask this one for the PO or have it defaulted to a certain answer, or choose to turn it off? 

Good Day.  We have been attempting to remove the ability to unconfirm time registrations for employees in our company.  We would like them to be able to register time and confirm their time.  However we do not want them to be able to remove confirmation once complete, we only want supervisors to be able to unconfirm their time.  We have attempted to set this up through Access Attribute but can’t figure out the correct configuration.  Does anyone know how to set this up so employees can not remove confirmation? 

Hi All, I have PM actions set up in one of our test environments. What a work order is generated from the PM action the work order and work tasks are at status of released.  However when I have duplicated this in another environment the work order and work tasks stay at status New.  can any advise if there is a parameter that i need to update to get them to go straight to status released  We are using IFS Cloud 23 R1
