I recently came across a scenario wherein the Reserved/Picked/Connected Source Qty for a shipment line is greater than what is present on its source customer order. There is no ambiguity in Order lines history still unable to get how this happened. 

Has anyone faced this earlier? 

Pick by Choice option is already set to ‘Not Allowed’. 

This is Apps 10 version.

I’m interested in the behavior as well, this has happened in our environment too and in fact I was tasked with creating an notification when it does happen so that the business can know about it, but I was never given clear replication steps (although our system DOES allow (and utilize) Pick by Choice)

 

 

Note that i THINK I can replicate it doing this:

 

  1. On Pick List, select a line, Right mouse button, “Create Reservations On Another Location”
  2. Add Reserved Parts to go over the total quantity on Customer Order Line
  3. Try to pick the new pick line that has been created
  4. You will get the following pop up:

 

 

If you click ok, you will then be picking/shipping MORE quantity than what was set on the Customer Order Line.

Thanks, Simon, for your help. Indeed, this is something present in IFS as a functionality which I was able to recreate and perform the fix as required.
