Hi All,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to configure the amount of time that a popup remains on the screen before disappearing? (I’d like it to remain visible for a little longer than it does).
This is a popup generated from a Process Flow Action.

Thanks
Mark.

Hi Mark,

I have had previous discussions with R&D as relates to popup messages the system generates (not specifically process flow generated popups).  Unfortunately, these are not time display duration configurable.

Reviewing the process flow documentation does not indicate any possibility to change this either so my opinion is that it is not possible.

However, given the maximum text in the message is 120 characters:

There is also an option to look into the Alarms Queue to see that the message was if the display was too short.

Hope this helps.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for this.

Yes, I had seen that the message remains in the ‘My Alarms Queue’, but what I don’t like is the fact that as soon as the popup disappears, the alarm status gets marked as ‘Dismissed’.
I’d kind of like a way of it not being ‘Dismissed’ but rather show a number on the ‘My Alarms’ icon to show that there’s an alarm that ‘hasn’t’ been dismissed and needs action.
I’m guessing that’s also not possible?

Cheers
Mark.

You are correct, this is the design and any changes would be a billable customization.

Or perhaps you can add a second action to send an email which would remain unread of course until they read it. But this is a bit redundant as I am sure you may not want this for every time this process flow executes. Some people are able read the popup before it disappears. It is possible to configure multiple actions in the same process flow
